Would give zero stars if I could. Their site advertises cat tree rescue and tree climbing services. My cat was stuck in a tree overnight. I called them in the morning and left a message on an answering machine. The owner Patti called me back ANGRY that I had woken her up. She was beyond rude to me and when I questioned her she proceeded to tell me that no one would help me. Needless to say I did not hire them but wanted to warn others about their unprofessionalism and horrible attitude towards potential customers, especially people who need help or are in distress. North Georgia Arbor Management rescued my cat for free and they were some of the kindest people I've ever met. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! When I called to originally make my appointment, Patty was so kind and helpful in getting everything booked with a quick appointment turn around. Peter came to do an overall tree health inspection on my property. He was thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I had an unfortunate experience with a different local "arborist" who advised heavy cutting/treatments for seemingly healthy trees previously. Peter spent a lot more time inspecting each tree top to bottom for me, whether large or small. He took time to explain anything from types of trees, to tree lean, to diseases, etc. and allowed me time to document his findings and observations. He was prepared and brought all the equipment needed in order to climb for high inspection also, even though not needed. Another "zero stars if I could" review. Complete waste of time. As another reviewer suggested, Peter roamed around looking at other trees after the specific tree in question was identified. It started raining and he was on the property about 30 minutes total. The "report," which was two paragraphs was on a different tree not even on the same property lot the report specified. I offered Patti and Peter another opportunity to come back and look at the only (and obvious) tree in question, and on the day of the second visit I received an email saying the Google Map image shows the tree to be healthy. What? Another REAL arborist provided a useful report on the correct tree. After all of this, they had the nerve to try and charge me $150 for the completely incorrect, useless "report" that had typos and attributed the incorrect tree to the wrong owner! Be sure you get full pricing disclosure before you schedule an appointment, and keep the inspector focused on the specific tree(s) you want checked, and limit your questions, because you will be charged for their time even if they decide to roam around your yard opining upon trees other than those you requested be checked. It is expensive. The report offered for an additional fee is really a joke - just take good notes and refuse the report. I was presented with an additional bill after I paid onsite, because the inspector "forgot" to charge me. In the end, $325 to look at one tree? read more

I highly recommend Peter. He was on time, very friendly, and demonstratively a total professional with decades of experience. I am botanically inclined, inquisitive, and perhaps a slight pain in the ass, but he endured all my questions with grace and a really quite engaging erudition. He was such a kind soul that I looked a little deeper after the fact, and apparently he's somewhat of a pioneer in this arena not only regionally, but nationally. Dude has got the knowledge. We had a large White Oak close to our house presenting some decay near the base. He took measurements, thoroughly inspected around the roots to rule out root rot, and then drilled 3 holes with a precision resistograph to quantify the amount of decay. As it turned out, our very large (34" circumference) oak had only a small 4" pocket of decay in the middle of the tree, which meant things were actually a lot better than we had feared--no need for tree surgery. Additionally, he took geo-coordinates, factored in the topography of our yard, and considered typical wind patterns to estimate that if the tree ever did come down in a terrible storm, that it would most likely fall away from the house. He did note, though, that because of the outward appearance at the base, it would have been quite possible that an arborist working for a tree company--with a vested interest in performing removal--would have unnecessarily recommended we take the tree down. We love love love how much stately character the tree adds to our yard, and also didn't want to spend thousands on removal, so it was very comforting to have an expert with no additional profit on the line give us the all clear. As recommended by Master Gardeners at my county extension office, and then reaffirmed by Peter's assessments and wisdom, I highly recommend going with an unbiased "consultative"arborist first if you live within their service area. Great guy, great service. Give them a call if you want a true reading of your tree health. read more

I definitely recommend Peter for a tree inspection. I emailed for an appointment and got a call back the next morning and he was out the day after that. He's friendly and funny, and he had some cool gadget that drills tiny holes in the tree and then gives a readout of your tree's health. Peter would never tell you to take down a tree unnecessarily, he's completely unbiased because he just does inspections. He turned in a written report promptly after the appointment. Turns out the tree I was losing sleep over is just fine, so now I can get some z's. read more

What a pleasant experience. Peter was on time and after 2 hours I learned so much about trees. The best part was knowing I would not have to spend thousands cutting down a 40 year old tree. The bark was falling off and there was a hole in the trunk. He was able to climb up on a rope and investigate. Also, who knew trees could have an EKG. It was fascinating. I was worried the tree might fall over on my house, but, after explaining about the way the wind blows, it most likely would fall away from the house. However, the tree is still pretty healthy and just needs to be monitored. I wanted someone who didn't cut trees for a living and wouldn't be honest. Very knowledgeable and patient. I would definitely recommend Peter. read more
