I had just moved to Atlanta and into a new house so we had a few yard things that need to get done…read moreincluding the trimming of trees and the building of a tiered raised garden. Given my type A personality, I also wanted it done well and as expeditious as possible. Through Yelp we found Jose and his company JJ's Landscape and Tree Service to give us a hand. It can be hard to find someone who you can rely upon and take their work seriously. Will they do a quality job? Will they care about what the customer thinks of their work? All these things were running through my head as I looked for a new person to help us landscape. So I called Jose and told him what I needed to do... tree work, build a raised garden, clean the yard of debris (that the seller left all over our yard) etc. No problem. Thinking that we would have to book 2-3 weeks in advance, I was caught of guard when Jose said, "You want this done tomorrow?" Sure enough, they came in the next day and took care of one job at a time. They helped me put in a beautiful tiered raised garden and then put in dirt into each tier. They then helped me prune back the tree limbs that were hovering over the house. As with any job like this, there is the possibility of limbs falling on things that were unintentional and they took care of these issues responsibly. They came back when they said they would and took care of everything. I will continue to use this company to take care of the grass since now my yard work is mostly complete. Jose has an awesome team of people working for him, they have great work ethic, and they truly care about their products and the people they work for. I will say that they are on the more expensive side, but remember that you are paying for quality work that is going to get done quickly. They are always on time and prompt and respectful of neighbors. They prefer check but will take credit cards as well (for a percent of the total cost). Next time you have a job you need them to complete, you cannot fail with this company!

We called and they came out a day or so later. Gave an estimate that was comprehensive, clear and thorough. They explained the precautions that would have to be taken. I have other structures in the yard, decorative items, etc. We moved as much as we could, but some have been there thirty years and aren't moving. The estimate wasn't cheap, but it wasn't the highest one we had gotten either. They had to bring in a crane to do the job. When we called to schedule they were able to do it the next week. The crew showed up ready to go. They professionally and also quickly removed all four trees, chipped them up, cleaned up and took off. All told, it was a great job, good price and the folks we talked to at their office were friendly and professional.

They were all prompt with being there on time which they get credit for because I appreciate that. One contractor came in at $6000 another contractor at $5000 and one more at $8500. The funny thing is, they were quoting me anywhere between six and eight Trees. The guy that quoted me on six, I pointed out two others and said what about those and he had never even noticed them. Ryan comes out shows me that there are 12 trees that really need to come down and explain why then he pointed out that my oak tree needed two branches removed in order for the oak tree to remain healthy. They would just take care of that while they were up on the lift. Also, one of the biggest trees in the front yard he said they would grind the stump down after cutting the tree so that my yard would remain looking nice. All this for $6000!!!!!!!!!! Ryan was prompt. His crew was respectful and very polite. What also impressed me was the open line of communication with Ryan. After the big snowstorm in March 2026, they were out there working while the warm weather was melting the snow pretty quickly - Ryan actually video called me to show me how saturated the yard was and explained why they would need to quit working. I appreciated them, not damaging the yard and having the courtesy to call and explain everything to me. The following weekend his men where out there, raking up sticks and then used a very powerful blower to add the finishing touches to my yard and patios. I can't say enough about Ryan and his team but they get five stars from me HANDS DOWN ANGEL AVINA

Problem is that there was no truck access to the trees and a neighbors house close by. So it was going to take a crafty person to cut these suckers down in a controlled fashion... So we contacted one of the bigger name tree cutters (can't remember who tho) and they said this job wasn't for them. But we came across Delgado Tree Service and they quoted us 1500 for both these trees along with mulching them up and basically leaving things clean. These guys did a great job and luckily our neighbors allowed us to remove our fence so the tree could fall in their yard. It was quite the tricky job as both trees were in horrible shape and one was directly behind the house. One was totally rotted on the inside and the other was missing half of it's base. We're lucky these never fell on us tho some of the larger branches had came crashing down in the past and scared the crap out of us. These guys were fully insured and handled everything in a professional way. Everything was written down on paper with proof of insurance copies for us as well. All the trees were cut up and mulched and we were left with the stumps showing just how much we were playing with fire. Glad we found these guys. Highly recommend.

So now I have to go buy sand to fix and level my yard back out due to their ignorance!

One morning, their crew was at my house setting up for an appointment before I left for work. Very dedicated. Another time, they arrived the same way and were finished before I got home, and they left no evidence of any mess or debris. Everything was cleaned up very well with no damage to any smaller plants, the yard or trees. Amazing. Arborguard is highly recommended.
