My rationale was that sometimes life gets busy and I thought it might actually help me tighten up my grocery budget if I wasn't shopping hungry at dinner time. The reason I tried Rosauers is I did a little bit of research and it seemed more affordable than Safeway and I liked that it was locally owned. The fee was $7.95 for the delivery. Basically how the process works is you set up an online profile and make sure you are in their delivery area. Then you search for the items you want and put them into your "online cart". I got a mix of basics and shopped some of the sale items. You can choose when you want to have the delivery, but you have to be home. They offer two hour windows to choose from. You can even buy 21+ items, but they will card you when they deliver. I got a variety of produce and I think that was little more expensive than shopping in store (plus someone else picks it for you and they might not have the same taste in banana or tomato ripeness) but I was happy with the quality for the most part. They totally nailed the avocados I requested and I was able to make delicious guacamole. I mess that up on my own all the time. I also was able to add deli meats from their counter (in 1/4 or 1 pound portions). I got some milk, bagels, etc too for about $50+ worth of food. My biggest disappointment was a few key items were "Out of stock" and they didn't put in a substitution. I know they didn't totally run out of eggs at Rosauers, but they ran out of the ones I chose. I wish they would have just put in a replacement item, even if it was a slightly different price, because then I would have had eggs. However, I could see it being frustrating if you wanted an exact item and then were forced to buy it. So, that is a hazard of shopping for groceries this way. All in all, it was a good experience and I'm glad I have it set up as an option if I ever need to use it again. I think it could come in handy for new parents, folks who are older and dislike driving in the snow, or folks who are busy!

It was either that or I would have to drive from Seattle to deliver the part. Sean's price was reasonable considering the distance that would have to be traveled, and it seemed well worth it to me. Sean picked up the part in the evening and delivered it early morning the next day. My son was soon on his way home. I really appreciated the competence and reliability this service offered!

I would personally call up my insurance company before I met with them to see what is covered and by how much. Do not be in a hurry. They glance over this. They also automatically send you supplies that are outrageous in price. You don't necessarily need them. You're not a bank. Customer service was awful and painful. The last time I called I was on hold for 1 hour and 10 minutes and I finally hung up. Additionally, they keep sending me the wrong items. I finally had to call my insurance company to get the correct answers and they told me how I got shafted.
