The store does not buy old clothes but accepts donations. The cashier was friendly enough and answered my questions politely

Absolutely could not have had a better experience, it makes me sad that they have such a low rating…read morebut trust me this place is SOO MUCH BETTER TO GO TO than Uptown Cheapskate which is 10 minutes away. I went there first and I had the absolute worst experience imaginable. Rudest employees with the biggest attitudes. I work retail and I get having one of those days but seriously it's your job to at least pretend to be nice since you're getting paid anyways.. Regardless thank you Buffalo Exchange! Can't wait to be back

Shortly after, she had to go on break so she swapped with a buyer (she was wearing glasses and a pony tail) half way through. She was weirdly abrasive, not friendly, threw my items on the counter with no regard, loud and just overall was not a good person to interact with. Maybe she was autistic and didn't know how to socialize? Maybe she was having a bad day? Who knows. When I asked for the pen to write my store credit total on the card (normally they do this every time you cash out) she gave me, she practically threw it at me. So I threw it back at her after I was done with it. After the obvious uncomfortable interaction, she just walked off. Basic customer service was atrocious as soon as the buyer filled in.

From the entrance, on the right side, you'll see the big racks of their current trends or hip items. Had some nice jeans and also some more dressy wear. I came in on a Yellow Tag day and was able to find some things to restock my closet some. The lady at the register was pretty chill and said they ran out of shopping bags, I was like it's okay I can just carry them out. I guess it matched the discount store vibe lol. They do have a few changing rooms with staff standing right outside if you need anything - thought that was pretty cool. Parking was pretty much almost full when I got there, but was able to find parking right by the front of the shop. Think I'm gonna add this location to my list of thrift shops in the area.

The prices were high across the board, and there were barely any discounts, which already made it hard to justify buying anything. After spending about 30 minutes searching, I finally found an item I wanted, only to be told at checkout that they couldn't sell it to me because it didn't have a tag. I've been to many Goodwill locations before, and this has never been an issue, usually they just retag the item and/or scan something similar and sell it. Instead, I left empty-handed after wasting my time. Between the pricing and that policy, I won't be returning.

Everything from accessories, Handbags, to clothes and footwear. Definitely an upscale resale shop. I found the prices pretty good with some high end items. After hearing about the purchase policy, I will be looking to expand our relationship from being a customer to becoming a selling agent/customer. There is an additional 25% of savings to be made. Went in to sell, brought it in one trash bag which is no longer accepted, so the girl at the counter said to put my items in a basket. She already seemed annoyed at the fact that i brought in one trash bag with clothes, and then started to tell me repeatedly at the things they were taking: "we are only taking things for summer, so no jeans no sweaters, no long sleeve tops" I said okay but she kept repeating herself and i finally said okay i get it, im just going to put it in because some of the items are name brand, is that ok?" she said "yeah we can take a look at it" She definitely had an attitude and was very short coming. So I added workout clothes as well (lululemon sport bra, summer clothes people are outside and working out you know). Anyways not even like 10 minutes go by and my name is called which is weird, because I put in a lot of clothes like linen pants, body suits, crop tops, etc. Another girl then tells me they didn't take any of the items today. Mind you I came in with a full bag filed with clothes, you're telling me not ONE piece was taken? That's complete bs and I know it was done on purpose because of the girl and her attitude. I was really shocked so I just said "oh really?, ok" and left. This was the first time I've ever been declined of selling my clothes, and I used to come here for years... I didn't even want to donate the clothes there like I usually have done in the past, went instead to Goodwill where I know my clothes will be much more appreciated. Drove 14 minutes out to Buffalo Exchange in Fullerton and immediately got better customer service with friendly employees. Sold a few of my clothes as well. So save yourself the hassle, drive a few minutes out to Fullerton and sell your clothes there.
