This was hands down the best food we ate in Atlanta. I know that might sound a little absurd, but this place was our favorite eat, so much so that my partner said he would return to Atlanta just to eat here again. We were looking for a meal and it was getting late. This place was open and busy as ever, even on a Sunday night. We ended up eating at the bar since tables were pretty busy and we didn't have a reservation, but that was probably the best seat in the house (in our opinion)! We were served by the bartender that evening and she was so lovely and kind. Her ability to multitask as well as be incredibly attentive was admirable. Even with everything being as busy as it was, we got served quickly and the food was delicious! The one thing we didn't particularly gauge before coming was that it was a little bit on the fancier side so coming in with just the clothes we had on that day, we felt a little underdressed. Great location for date night. Tre Vele had a calm and inviting ambiance. When you first arrive you are encouraged to take advantage of "free valet", tips are highly encouraged. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated promptly by the hostess. Our waiter was very kind and was knowledgeable about the menu, which for us was a plus. The drinks are strong and if you're an espresso martini enthusiast they serve it straight-- no baileys crème. We enjoyed our food and the table side cheese wheel was fun. We arrived a little early and our table was immediately ready but we decided to have a drink at the bar first! Our bartender Will, was amazing and dutifully recommended a cocktail to cleanse it better yet, "correct" my friend's palate!! She had something weird going on but he suggested a Negroni that was made with prosecco as opposed to gin! It tasted really nice and subtly calmed down that Campari!! Once seated, we ordered 2 salads.. Chopped Salad and Spinach salad..plenty for the 4 of us to split. We were served focaccia bread (my fave) with OVO and Balsamic..would've enjoyed more if served warm. Then the star of the evening comes rolling out and the anticipation heightens. Grab another bottle of New Zealand Sauv Blanc and now it was a party! Chef was great and all smiles...l Service was good! This is now one of my favorite restaurants I've recently tried. I loved all the appetizers and my mushroom pasta was delicious! For dessert we had affogato and tiramisu which was also amazing! I came here with a big group (7 people), and although we had a reservation we still waited 30 minutes to be seated. We were told our table still had previous guests that were not leaving. The only advice I'd give to the restaurant is if someone has a reservation they need to find better accommodations for the guests if a table still isn't available. We shouldn't have waited 30 minutes and asked 4 times how much longer it would be. Despite the wait, the food and service was good! I would definitely come back again. read more

I am so glad I booked this restaurant for him. He enjoyed every plate that was ordered, the buratta salad, mussels, whipped ricotta, rigatoni, lamb pappardelle, and Cacio e Pepe. Drinks were so very yummy. Food and service 10/10. We all left happy and satisfied. The only thing is that they charge a 20$ fee for bringing a cake from outside to cut it in the restaurant which is inconvenient and I have never heard of. If you want a great Italian spot for a date night, this is a lovely option. We made a reservation for 2 on a Saturday night and when we arrived we were seated immediately. I had a drink, which I believe was called the Passione Ardente and it was strong and tasty. They brought out complimentary bread that was good. For our meal we shared the Ceasar Salad and Arancini, I got the Lamb Ragu and my husband got the Cacio E Pepe. For dessert we shared the Tiramisu. Everything was great, no complaints. I'll start by saying our waiters were excellent. Louis was funny, knowledgeable about the menu, and helpful. We started with the chopped salad. It was light and tasty. I loved the red wine vinaigrette. Our entrees were Cacio e Pepe with grilled chicken and Pappardelle. The noodles for the pappardelle were undercooked but the meal was still tasty. I added grilled chicken which wasn't needed since the lamb ragú actually had lamb. I thought it would just be a sauce and not the actual protein. Unfortunately the grilled chicken was pretty charred and on the dryer side so I don't recommend their grilled chicken but I did like the noodles. The Cacio e Pepe was an okay meal. We had a reservation for a party of 4 at 7:45 pm on Wednesday, 2/26/25. We were seated right away. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. The inside is dimly lit. Nice dinner out for a date or a group of friends. Paola was our waitress and she was wonderful! So sweet and welcoming! I was going to write that I was disappointed they don't have free bread service, but after reading other people's reviews, it appears they do, in fact, have free bread service; we were just not given any. Here's what we did get: - Honey Whipped Ricotta ($12): Sooo, soo delicious. - Goat Cheese Arancini ($14): Good, don't really feel the need to get it again though. - Eggplant Parmigiana, add Cacio e Pepe ($18 + $12): Good, wish it was a bigger portion. The Cacio e Pepe was fine, nothing special. But I also think adding spaghetti for $10 is a huge up-charge too. Others in my party got the Margherita Pizza ($18) and the Pappardelle ($28). I heard the pizza was good. My friend said the Pappardelle was okay, tasted good, but she thinks the noodles were overcooked, breaking apart but also sticking together in one big clump. We were given free dessert because we were celebrating a birthday. The cannolis (normally $9) were fine! I liked the pistachio one the best. Not the best Italian in Atlanta, but it was good! This restaurant is tucked in the plaza that Kroger is in. I do not frequent the area often so I did not know it was there. I went for a birthday dinner. I liked the setup of the place. Everyone on the staff that I encountered was very professional and helpful. It was honestly one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. The menu had a great variety. It wasn't mentioned on their social media that it's only open certain days, which was a little disappointing. I also wanted to try the pasta wheel, but learned that's also only available on select days. That said, the inside ambiance was still really nice and had a great vibe. After checking out some of the pictures on Yelp, we decided to give it a go and made our reservation through Open Table. Parking was super easy - they have several shops and hence plenty of parking. Plus they have valet parking too in case all the nearby spots are occupied and you don't want to walk! We were seated on time when we showed up. It wasn't too busy when we got there (Saturday 8:30pm) but trust me, this place fills up. It was packed by the time we left, so make reservations. We had our 5 year old with us, and they were very accommodating in offering us a comfortable table. They have a kids menu which includes a main entree and ice cream. We got some pasta for him and the lemon ice cream, both of which vanished into his belly! I ordered the Colosseum and the Paper Plane - both whiskey based drinks, and I did enjoy the Colosseum. It felt refreshing as compared to an Old Fashioned but still alcohol forward (not as intense as an Old Fashioned though). For apps, we got the meatballs and Octopus. Both were yummy! The meatballs were flavorful and not too dense. The octopus was a star. It was grilled to perfection with the right amount of char. The octopus dish had potatoes, capers and some sauce that was delicious. I was licking it off the plate. I preferred this sauce over the olive oil to pair with the complimentary bread they served us. We also got the Cacio e Pepe with Shrimp and the Truffle Mushroom Fettucini with Chicken. IMO the Cacio e Pepe was the better dish. The shrimp and pepper in the spaghetti made me favor it over the truffle mushroom - which was pretty good too (maybe needed more pepper). For dessert we got the canoli cheesecake which was delightful. Very heavy though and we didn't have much room in our stomach to finish it off. I had a great experience and will be back. This was a fun dinner treat (a pricey one!) . I wasn't as blown away as I wanted to be. The pappardelle pasta was thicker than usual and unfortunately all clumpy and stuck together. I'm still on my search for a great bolognese and hate to say this one disappointed me, more cheesy than I would have liked without me asking for Parmesan on it. The kids pizza was just ok. Would skip and the buttered noodles were tasty, as you would expect. Now for the cacio e Pepe - that was probably the highlight for us not just because it was a table side showing but the flavor was great. Definitely steep in price at 36-39 (forgot actual pricing) Overall I wish I could say better things about the Yorker dishes but for what we spent - I definitely have tasted better elsewhere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We got the fettucini, squid ink pasta and pepperoni pizza. The fettuccini was really good and the pasta was al dente. I would say the squid ink pasta was not very flavorful. But the seafood was cooked so well! And the pasta too. We still finished the pasta though, but it definitely could've been either a little saltier or spicier. The pepperoni pizza was good too. No complaints. Parking is very easy as you can do valet or park in the parking lot. The ambiance is very nice and well done. We went during Christmas break so it was nicely decorated! They have a kids menu with a few different options. Our kids got the fresh butter noodle pasta and it was done in about ten minutes! Stopped by today during my lunch, service was quick and easy. I decided to sit at the bar. The server brought complimentary focaccia with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette for the table. This was a nice surprise as most restaurants don't bother with bread anymore. It was delicious! I decided to go for a smaller lunch so I did their lunch pick 2 special. I got the Caesar salad and Bolognese. The salad dressing was amazing! Not too strong and every piece of lettuce was coated to perfection. The bolognese was also good! Not the best I've had but was still very tasty! (half my family is from Naples so you can't really compare) When you walk in you're welcomed by a nice ambiance and smiles from all the staff. Wow. Tre Vele is that girl. I don't like many Italian restaurants. I'm not usually a fan of most Italian restaurants because I often feel they can't compare to the authentic flavors you'd find in someone's Nonna's kitchen. Tre Vele did NOT disappoint. Even though there were some technical difficulties, the night, my girlfriend and I went (there was a hurricane) the staff took care of us and made sure we had everything that we needed. They have a great list of cocktails, wines, and mocktails. They have a great pasta selection, most notably, the ravioli, the squid, spaghetti, and the cacup e Pepe. If you're not lactose intolerant, their honey whipped ricotta -- it's heavenly, and the warm bread it's served with is equally amazing! While they don't have a huge selection of desserts, the overall experience more than made up for it. Highly recommend! read more

(Almost like starting with dessert). What did come? -Fettuccine with what looked like half a chicken. "Black Truffle, Wild Mushrooms, Porcini Cream, Parmesan Cheese." A big plate in all, one a healthy 25-year-old couldn't finish. -An ample plate of "Spinach, Ricotta, Lemon, Ginger, Sorghum, Pine Nuts." -Excellent butternut squash tortellini. Had we room, we would have poached a sample. -And our eggplant with "Mozzarella, Pomodoro, Parmesan Cheese, Basil Oil." We added Cacio e Pepe rather than spaghetti. Yet another solid investment. We're now cacio only after this. Rich and delicious. -Four spritzes and two glasses of Cabernet. All good. I chose this place for a work lunch and as soon as I walked in I was immediately impressed by the ambiance. Very comfortable but also polished. The candles, the oil lamps, the beautiful bar and even the restrooms were wonderful to see. We got two appetizers- the Honey Whipped Ricotta and the Grilled Artichokes. Both were divine! The ricotta was smooth and sweet with delicious grilled flatbread. And the salsa verde under the artichokes was a great addition to the char. Tre Vele makes all of their pastas daily from scratch so it was no surprise all of us got pasta dishes! Two of us got the papardelle with lamb ragu and the other two got the cacio e pepe. The lamb was shredded and tender in the sauce and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Everything was seasoned to perfection and while we still discussed business, it was clear the food in front of is was the focus. Shout out to our server J who kept the pace leisurely and attentive! We had a reservation for 6 but had an additional guests and they were accommodating and added another chair for us. I love the decor throughout and the rooftop is picturesque. Our server was DJ was nice and even though he was running like crazy all evening, he still did his best to give our table excellent service.
