Came here for breakfast while at the hotel. Nice ambiance and decent menu. Food was consistent. Ordered pancakes which were pretty good. Eggs were good. Farmers omelette was good as well. Service was a little slow so give some time.

Wow! I was absolutely loving our time together with my parent for an amazing dinner at Tre Rivali! From the moment we walked in the service from the staff was warm and inviting. The restaurant is very nice and liked the vibe of the decor. It's relaxed and very nicely decorated. Okay the important part- the menu had so many options that looked great. After a few sips of my amazing old fashioned... which is a must i decided to go the Scallops which were some for the best I have had. We topped it off with the Bondino for dessert... wow !!! Tre Rivali is a must!

Came by myself for dinner and loved the overall atmosphere of the place! Indoor and outdoor seating with a variety of choices both low and high top. I appreciated that they had the door open for air flow! Food was delicious! I had the baba ganoush which was made a bit differently than I have had it before (probably cause it was traditionally made) but really loved the jam (sweet!) they mixed in on top, really pulled all the flavors together! campanelle was my favorite, big fan of mushrooms!! And the espresso martini?? MADE PERFECTLY!! My waitress was really great too, gave me good recommendations and took a drink off my tab when I didnt care for it!! Looking forward to coming back :)

This restaurant has been on my list for a long time. For our appetizer, we ordered the hummus, which originally only came with 2 small pieces of pita for 3 people ($13). Was a bit surprising, but our waitress kindly brought us more upon asking. Our cocktails were very icy. For my main I ordered the Campanelle, which was very rich and creamy. It was a bit dense for me, but that may just be my taste. Our waitress was very attentive. The space itself is pleasant looking, and I enjoyed the lighting which wasn't striking but nicely dim.

I stopped in this morning for some coffee and an Avocado toast. I decided to choose to sit outside this morning to get to enjoy the the weather that we were having. It was quiet outside, good music playing in the background, and great-great food. The service was great, Chelsea was awesome, Thanks!!

Always an amazing time and great wait staff. Been here a few times but was unaware of the seasonal changes, so if there's something you absolutely loved ask and they can sometimes make it. The food is always on point with great portions.

Tre Rivali offers a beautiful atmosphere that feels elevated and simple. The coffee took quite a while to come out and they were out of all the flavors I wanted, but the appearance was pretty and it tasted great. All the food was delicious. I would come here again!

Really good!!! I liked everything we had - it's really nice inside. Make sure to get a reservation on weekends. It wasn't quite enough food for the price for me, but was still good. I loved the pasta, the focaccia, and my husband said his salad was great.

Excellent Mediterranean food, great service, and I love the ambiance. Located in the heart of the Third Ward inside the beautiful Kimpton Journeyman Hotel. 5 stars!

My first time coming to Tre Rivali. I will say it was an overall good experience. The chickpea soup, Brussel sprouts, and salad were really good. I thought the broccolini didn't have any seasoning. I think it would have been better with some kind of sauce on the side. The service was great our waitress checked in often. And the overall ambiance was great really easy to talk to someone without other conversations over powering. I will say give TR a try and definitely get the soup!

We had a nice meal at Tre Rivali. While the food was good I wouldn't say it reflected the price point. I had the scallops with the ricotta dumplings. The scallops were delicious but not quite sure what the "dumplings" were supposed to be. They looked like extra starchy shell pasta. I liked the vibe of the restaurant, but the circle shaped 2 person tables do seem a bit small after you order wine and a couple small plates. Overall it was fine but probably won't go back.

I had such an amazing experience coming here! The service was great, the restaurant is gorgeous. It feels like a nice date-night spot. We tried the baba ghanoush, which was very tasty. However, it only came with 2 pieces of pita bread. For each "refill" of pita (aka 2 more pieces) it's an additional $1. That was a small con for me, but worth getting a couple extra pieces. The campanelle pasta was AMAZING. I would return to this restaurant just to get the pasta again. It was creamy and flavorful. would highly recommend if you like mushrooms

What a cool mediterranean place in the journeyman hotel. Love the vibe anesthetics. Hostess and servers were quite friendly and informative. Reservations are recommended and I see why. It's pretty popular! The portions are definitely on the small side so if you're looking at yelp photos that aren't recent you might be surprised, and need to order extra sides. Baba Ganoush with pita bread was pretty good but not enough pita comes with it so if you ask for more bread it's $2 per pita . The swordfish is pretty much a half portion for $28 and topped with pearl onions which wasn't really an accompaniment. The pizza was a good portion and better choice for a fulfilling meal and the ricotta dumplings are also a small portion but quite tasty. If I went back it would just be for the pizza.

I surprisingly don't have many options in my "MKE - Fish Fry" collection that are near downtown, but Swinging Door Exchange was one of them. I was pressed for time, so I placed a to go order rather than dining in. I got the combo fish fry (two pieces of cod, two pieces of perch, and three fried shrimp) with potato pancakes. I was also very easily talked into the half rack rib appetizer. The ribs were good, even though I prefer sauce that's more sweet and smokey. Their sauce was on the tangy side with a tease of spice that really only became noticeable when the majority of the half rack was gone. If I were in the mood for ribs as my main meal, I'd consider getting theirs as an entree. The two potato pancakes weren't homemade; instead, they were premade hash brown patties that some other restaurants also serve with their fish frys. These were perfectly acceptable in lieu of homemade pancakes. The cod tasted great, but the breading didn't hold up very well. Either the fish itself was too wet or the two block walk back to my car allowed for condensation to wreck it or possibly both. The perch was not yellow lake perch but probably something like pike perch. Even though both kinds of fish and the shrimp were all good sized portions, $29 feels like a lot. I wouldn't say no to it, though, if I were dining in next time and avoid the extra cost of their takeout fee. Shout-out to the bartenders working that night. The bar area was absolutely packed, but both of the ones I talked to about placing my order were friendly and helpful even with being super busy.

Last two glasses were having less sake than first glasses we were provided, probably because people who already drunk something would not notice the difference. It's ok to have expensive alcohol pairing with high end dinner but in this case the sake was very regular. By the way, at bar 10 steps away from the Dark room (same hotel, same floor, same the floor area) the same sake did cost $23 for two glasses. Well...
