Finally finished it all this year and a BGCC team returned to install it. These gentlemen took such pride in their work to compensate for the short wall having been built not level. I got a few bids and was ready, it was time to go pick out some countertops and designs. Extended homes was the 2/3 that we went shopped at and got quotes on. The other two places, I will leave names out, 1 was a lot cheaper, but customer service was off. On top of that, I read some bad reviews. The 2nd spot, was a bit cheaper, about $400 but I wasn't too sure, had an off feeling about them too. Extended Homes was the most expensive, however, the service I received from Rachel made me feel so confident. To me, because of her reassuring us and the way she helped us every step of the way... she even told us not to do a few things, made me feel like she truly wants us to be happy, and not in it to make more money. Unlike most of them, Natalie was so chill and no-pressure as I browsed. I really appreciated that. Because of that, I trusted her with my business and went with her installers as well. Now her installers.. I was so nervous because I just put my faith in them to make 2 slabs work somehow on this large project with a fairly complex sink and faucet set up. They crushed it. What they did is literally a WORK OF ART. The symmetry, the precision. This is the centerpiece of my house now, where everyone likes to gather round. Peter Ton was very friendly, professional & helpful as we chose the pattern we wanted, as well as the type of sink & mounting. Their variety for selection may not be as large as some other places, but the colors & patterns they had available were just fine for what we were looking for, which was pretty standard. And their price was WAY lower than what we had been quoted at a couple of the "big box" stores! Once we chose the countertop material, a person from Tonstone came within 1 day to do the measurements of our bathroom cabinet, & 1 day later, they came with the finished countertop! They installed it very quickly, gave us directions to not touch it for a few hours, & the next day we were able to install the faucet & then start using the sink! The 1st countertop install went so well that about 2 weeks later, we ordered a countertop from Tonstone for our 2nd bathroom. Again, the process went very quickly & easily. Now we have 2 beautiful new bathroom countertops & sinks, which we are enjoying very much. When we are ready to replace our kitchen countertops this coming summer, there's no question that we'll return to Tonstone Building Supply to get this done!

The selection of siding, mouldings, hardwood, wall coverings, etc., is staggering. They also stock stains & sealers, concrete, mortar, sand, and pier blocks. I don't even mind tagging along with my husband -the home improvement guru and Master wood worker- because the store is clean and there's so much to see. It's big but not too big and well-lighted too. Nice, helpful people will answer every question you may have. It's a little farther than our local Big Box store but to not have to have that Big Box experience is worth the extra driving. Excellent quality and great prices as well.
