The moment I got to the ceiling--paint in my face, uneven coverage, risking ruining the floor--I realized I needed professionals. I got several quotes: $800 for one coat, $1100 for two coats, $650 for unlimited coats, and I still had to buy the paint myself for all of them. Then I reached out to Fair Card Painting, and I'm so glad I did. The owner and his partner--a woman who was just as skilled and professional--showed up and immediately put me at ease. He mentioned he's just starting his own company but has over 30 years of painting experience and specializes in spraying. They were both warm, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and confident in their craft. And they delivered above and beyond. He told me exactly what paint to buy and charged a flat $450, which already blew the other quotes out of the water. They worked for about five hours, sprayed the entire garage, waited for the first coat to dry, and then gave everything a second coat. Their attention to detail was unbelievable--they got into crevices I genuinely didn't think anyone could reach. Every inch was flawless. They had me come out multiple times to inspect the work, making sure I was happy every step of the way. They were kind, professional, and truly cared about the final result. I wish I had called them sooner. My garage looks incredible, and my home gym is going to look SO sick thanks to their work. If you want a team that's affordable, honest, friendly, and insanely good at what they do, hire this duo. I couldn't be happier.

I clarified the expectation was they supply everything they needed to complete the job and that it is still a two-day job. So as not to lose time, I lent them a brand new (as in just out of the box) wall sander, which they broke. One person went to get supplies while the others worked on the wall by hand sanding but still used my sandpaper. Several of them kept disappearing throughout the day and really only "worked" for about 4 hours of the 8 hour shift they agreed to. They agreed to arrive at 8 am on day two (today), but when they didn't show up, I messaged to confirm their status. A few hours later, I received a message they are overworked and decided to sleep in. They said I can keep the wall compound but I still have all their supplies they did bring and a room that is only 25% completed and an entire day and a half of work lost. I will need to pay someone else to complete this now. Pictures show how they left the room with all their supplies still in it.

We contacted numerous contractors who provided very high bid estimates and wouldn't be available for weeks. Robert came out to inspect the damage, explained his approach to solve the problem, and provided a reasonable proposal for his work. He was highly communicative and professional every step of the way. The work itself is clearly high quality. The area where the rot was has been completely replaced and touched up so that you can't tell there was ever an issue there in the first place. I will absolutely be calling Robert for any future projects we have. 10/10

I let him know was flexible since was my basement and just need to be informed on his schedule (will never state that again with any contractor) He started mid morning worked a few hours a day. The last day after 3 weeks he was going to finish painting the last section and do touch-up and stairs. I left and he must have left soon after since he did not finish the job. Another issue: I had a bsmt floor drain which told him to paint and make sure nothing happens to it since very hard to find for older home. I notice it was missing and he said he had it and would get it back to me.....He is not returning my calls to return this or to finish painting..... Do NOT recommend -if you do hire do NOT pay him until he does all work even the touch up.

Yes- the tenants were AWFUL...I was a bit in shock from my tenants when I was referred to Brandon. I didn't trust anyone- as I had just been thoroughly pooched by my tenants. Brandon was immediately trustworthy, professional, and just plain awesome! He checked out my house, emailed me the most professional bid I've ever gotten, and then got to my house a WEEK early so I could put it on the market earlier (as I'm never renting it out again.) His bid was extremely fair (dare I say cheap- especially since he knew I was in a pickle), his work was excellent and FAST! He was able to fix my thoroughly goofed up ceiling...and did such great work I signed on for him to paint another room. If I wasn't selling the house I would grab him up immediately to repaint the entire house! Absolutely top-notch, excellent, trustworthy, smart service. Thank you Brandon, for giving me hope that there are people out there that do what they say they'll do- keep it in budget- and do a great job. I appreciate it!!! THANK YOU! My hope in humanity got a nice kick in the right direction. :)

Firstly, scheduling: time was tight as we also had a furnace replacement that had to go on. So driveway time and interior access had to be coordinated. Secondly, knowledge of the arts & crafts construction. They replaced what was needed with period-accurate pieces which, though custom sourced, were sensibly priced. Thirdly, they scaled the project appropriately - doing minimal invasiveness on the exterior, taking advantage of existing structures on the interior work. Finally, the subs (fencing, windows, drywall, gutters) they used for the items they don't do themselves proved to be professional, timely, and competitively priced. In the end the total came in substantially under the estimate and we were very happy with the results.

It was weeks of trying to avoid doing contractual work, add fees, calling me names, hanging up the phone on me before the first crew finally walked off of the job in front of the company owner. No apology provided to me, but after significant negotiation they did agree to hire a subcontractor to fix their work. Unfortunately this meant that they sanded their texture work and did not seal the ductwork first and refused to put up plastic in the doorway. I had to put up plastic and then spent 30 hours cleaning my home once I figured out what the air quality issue was. I have a disability and am prone to respiratory infections which is what I was diagnosed with following this event. The new crew told me that the soffit the previous crew built was too crooked to fix but I wouldn't notice it. They decided that they completed the project and the problem was the ductwork underneath the soffit. They want thousands more to replace my ductwork and build a new soffit. I cannot find their electrical license online although they did electrical work. The light fixture they installed will not turn off and they will not hire an electrician to fix their work. This was supposed to be a home modification project to help my disabled son--a fact that they have had no regard for throughout the project.
