Michael greeted me as soon as I walked in, asked what I was looking for, and immediately took me to the right section. He then went above and beyond, bringing me multiple pairs to try on and making sure I found the right fit. He was extremely helpful, personable, and sincere, and I never felt pressured to buy anything. The only reason I didn't purchase my shoes there was because they didn't have the color I wanted. Otherwise, I absolutely would have bought them there. I just wanted to recognize Michael and the Shoe Palace team for making my visit such a great experience. Employees like Michael are a huge asset to a store. Great job!

I am so grateful that he did. Maria, Marsden's store associate, she gave excellent service and went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. I purchased a pair of shoes and sandals. Maria first looked over the doctor's notes and recommendations, then she measured my feet and then she showed me the different types of shoes, brands and styles available for me to choose from. At the time I was still dealing with the plantar faciaiitis flare up pain in the heel of my right foot and Maria handled my shoe fitting with extra care. She was very knowledgeable of the different types of shoes, inserts and inventory. She kindly explained to me the shoe structures, sizing, inserts and other preventative care suggestions. As soon as I tried on the correct shoes and scandals, I instantly felt a huge difference in my feet - the pain almost became non-existent!!! I am so pleased and grateful for Maria, her care and expertise at Marsden's Pedorthics. I highly recommend this store for the shoes that will best take care of your feet.

I had a very frustrating experience at WSS in Whittier and would not recommend this location…read more Over the past few weeks, I went in THREE separate times trying to buy black Pro Club shirts in a size medium for my 14-year-old son. Each visit, I was told something different -- first they'd have them in a few days, then they still didn't have them, and finally I was told they could order them for me and have them shipped to my home. I agreed and very clearly ordered THREE medium shirts as part of their promotion (3 for about $32.50). When my order arrived, I received ONE medium and ONE extra large tall. That is absolutely not what I ordered and makes no sense, my son is slim and medium barely fits him. When I called the store, the manager (Manny) told me there was "nothing he could do" because their system shows that's what was ordered. That response was unacceptable. The employee who helped me (Cassandra) was friendly, but the order was clearly placed incorrectly. (AIRHEADS) To make things more confusing, the total I was charged didn't even match the promotion and ended up being around $21.06 after some kind of discount she gave us because he was a student and showed her his school ID. After multiple trips, wasted time, and receiving the wrong items, there was zero accountability or real effort to fix the issue. Very disappointing experience. I won't be returning to this location. Which is unfortunate because it's the closest but they always mess up something and don't properly train their staff!

After picking up my order at another location, I was given shoes with some defects. Being told by that particular location I could exchange at any other WSS, I went to Whittier. Was told that the original location shouldn't have given me the defective shoes. Emily went out of her way to call Customer Service. Unfortunately they were already closed. She continued to help me. Searched for a location local that had the same pair and size. I appreciate the help. Seriously though, WSS returns/exchanges should be able to be made in store even when you're ordering online and picking up at a store location. It's a major hassle printing a label, packaging the item and what not.

I wandered around thinking nothing was calling my name...until BAM! the Dainty Mary Jane Converse caught my eye! Total love at first sight moment! Sadly they only had a size 9 and I'm a size 9.5 girlie. I tried the size 9 but there wasn't enough for any wiggle room! Even my toes said "Girl, absolutely not!" I asked the friendly and helpful staff member for a 9.5 or a 10 however this particular shoe only run in full sizes. They didn't find any in stock but he found them on their online website and offered to order them for me and the price was the same sale price! I was excited! And then it gets better! I saw online they had another color and I asked that I wanted to order the other pair too! The price was also on sale! SCORE! I asked the kind staff member to ship the merch to the store since my apartment building is always locked and it's such a stressful situation to try to catch the delivery person, it's almost an Olympic sport! Meanwhile I spotted a cute brown pair of New Balance sneakers but I didn't see them in my size. I searched high, low, left, right and NOTHING! I asked one of the kind and friendly staff members if somehow he might find a pair in my size! Then suddenly he shows up with a pair in my size like he pulled them out of a hidden shoe portal! I don't know how he did it but I wasn't questioning the process! While trying on the NB sneakers the same staff member brought me a pair of cream colored Brooks sneakers in my size! He told me they're close as it gets to the Hoka sneakers in terms of comfort and quality. And honestly he wasn't lying , they felt amazing! Even my husband caught the shoe buying bug that he got a pair of Crocs! He totally love them! Did I buy more shoes than I needed? Absolutely! Do I regret it? NAH! Not even a little! Great prices, amazing shoes, and customer service worthy of a standing ovation! I'll definitely come back for more "I'm just browsing" moments that somehow turns into a full blown shopping spree!
