Deep in the heart of Mesquite (or Sunnyvale, or Seagoville...whatevs) lives a cute 'lil dirt track…read morecalled the Devil's Bowl. It's kinda like Nascar only cuter. And way more affordable. We came for the World of Outlaws Sprint car racing and had no idea the evening would turn out to be so much fun. 900HP teeny cars screaming down a dirt track 2X2 and sideways?? Yes, please. Here's a hint or two to make your visit the best it can be: *I'm not sure if they're all like this but the premium seats (we paid $40/ticket) are actual chairs. No need to bring stadium chairs to save your butt from hard bleachers. *No outside food and drink, but there are plenty of food vendors on site. Just know that the lines get absolutely ridiculously long during the race. *This place fills up on the weekend. Get here early and experience all that is redneck racing! *If you want to see pit road, you won't see it from the main seats. The cars all exit and go behind the track for pit work. Whomp whomp. *Don't forget earplugs. This may be a dirt track but it still gets looooooud. Until next time, Devil's Bowl. Boogity boogity!

Unfortunately, it's the top center sections of the LOWER seats as shown in the picture on Yelp. I should have read it closer. So we paid top dollar for bench seats. Strike one. Finding our seats was very difficult because none of the rows or seats are marked. To further complicate things, seat #1 starts in the middle of the row because each "section" is divided by a set of stairs. Strike two. Getting out of the parking lot took 25 minutes. They only had one exit operating for a huge parking lot. I got out faster from a Cowboys game. Strike three. I'm sure general admission seating works for football games, but if you are renting out your stadium to a group who is selling reserved seating, you must permanently mark your rows and seats (especially bench seating) with a number.

Some lines were moving extremely slowly, causing people to leave and join other lines that appeared to be moving faster. There were staff members present, but it seemed like merchandise lines, VIP lines, and general admission lines were all mixed together and going in different directions. Many attendees were frustrated and confused while trying to figure out where they needed to go. There needs to be better organization, clearer signage, and improved crowd management protocols. Overall, the entry process was very chaotic and made navigating the venue unnecessarily difficult.

Entry, seating, and crowd management were all handled smoothly, even with such a large crowd of 72k+ The stadium itself is incredible. Being fully covered made a huge difference on a hot Texas day, keeping the entire experience comfortable. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional, which added to the overall positive atmosphere.

With a seating capacity of 13,000, this is truly a Texas-Sized venue. It is perfect for high school football playoffs, which was exactly why I was here. When I pulled up to the stadium I was blown away by its size. I was also very impressed by the availability of parking. The design of the lot really made there not be a bad spot in the lot, and there was ample room for the plethora of busses that that it takes for schools to take their shows on the road. Other great amenities that this place has is modern and bright lighting, decent concession and restroom options, and great views of the field from all over the stadium. The one downfall I noticed was there are a LOT of stairs, and that can be troublesome for some attendees. For example, the people sitting next to me left their elderly parents on the lower level where there was not as good of a view in order to get a better view for themselves. Overall though, this is a very good venue, despite this inconvenience.
