There were staff members present, but it seemed like merchandise lines, VIP lines, and general admission lines were all mixed together and going in different directions. Many attendees were frustrated and confused while trying to figure out where they needed to go. There needs to be better organization, clearer signage, and improved crowd management protocols. Overall, the entry process was very chaotic and made navigating the venue unnecessarily difficult.

On Sunday September 20th, 2026 during the Dallas Cowboys football game staff stopped allowing fans in through security checkpoints. Security closed the gates stating we are going inside because of approaching bad weather and lightning strikes nearby. I stated to security "so you're going inside and leaving us out here in the open"? A Dallas Cowboy employee directed paying ticket customers to stand under trees by the entrance? Complete stupidity, we all learned you don't stand under trees in electrical storms when we were in kindergarten. The Dallas Cowboys should be ashamed of themselves leaving fans outside as heavy rain approached and dangerous lightning strikes fell upon the area. They admitted the danger by pulling security and closing checkpoints and leaving paying customers stranded at the entry gates under trees. My wife and I said screw this as the line grew for entry and we decided to leave before it started to rain. Keep in mind most people park a mile or two from the stadium and walk. After about 20 minutes of walking towards our car it started to rain and lightning became more intense. Thankfully security at the "National Medal of Honor Museum" gave us shelter out of the weather. We didn't even have to buy a ticket. Imagine that the "Medal of Honor Museum"providing a safe place for someone needing shelter with a fast approaching storm and charges nothing. We waited out the storm for about 45 minutes here. On the other hand America's so called team "The Dallas Cowboys" sells you a ticket, leaves you stranded outside with approaching bad weather to save themselves, leaving paying ticketed fans stranded and in harms way. What I learned yesterday is the AT&T Stadium and the Dallas Cowboys staff from top to bottom believes in every man, woman, and child for themselves. If the ships going down they will not put you in a life raft, drowning in a pool they will not throw you a life ring. Imagine a tornado approaching AT&T Stadium and security closes the gates and runs inside locking the doors to save themselves. That is what they will do because I've seen how they react with approaching bad weather first hand. This is what happened September 20th, 2026 to every Dallas Cowboy Fan trying to get to the game and seek shelter before the storm arrived. "America's Team"? I think not!

While I used to have season tickets and sat in the same place, I gave them up a few years back and now buy game to packages in different areas. One notable one is that there is ample bathrooms for the crowds, thus you almost never see a line to get into them. There are several food and beverage concession areas too. This is one area they could improve...while they get people in and out quickly, the sodas from them are often watered down, the pretzels and popcorn etc sit out just a little too long, and the prices just a little too high. I paid $7 for a bottled water. There really is a huge opportunity for SMU to do better by their fans in this area. Ok, now, for the opportunities, there was not nearly enough parking for everyone to park near the stadium. Additional parking was not clearly identified, so we had to keep asking people who worked there or who went to school about where we could park. We finally found a parking garage that was about 10 minutes away from the stadium walking. Once we got to the stadium. We went to 3 different gates before we got to the right gate. It would have been nice if the gates had been more clearly marked, but the staff was very helpful about getting us to the right gate eventually. Finally, I guess they did not consider how much alcohol college students drink, especially at Texas State and Rice because most of the alcohol besides beer was sold out by halftime, so that was a little disappointing. Again, overall, I had a blast, and I would definitely go to another game. But I have learned a lot of lessons for next time.

With a seating capacity of 13,000, this is truly a Texas-Sized venue. It is perfect for high school football playoffs, which was exactly why I was here. When I pulled up to the stadium I was blown away by its size. I was also very impressed by the availability of parking. The design of the lot really made there not be a bad spot in the lot, and there was ample room for the plethora of busses that that it takes for schools to take their shows on the road. Other great amenities that this place has is modern and bright lighting, decent concession and restroom options, and great views of the field from all over the stadium. The one downfall I noticed was there are a LOT of stairs, and that can be troublesome for some attendees. For example, the people sitting next to me left their elderly parents on the lower level where there was not as good of a view in order to get a better view for themselves. Overall though, this is a very good venue, despite this inconvenience.

We got tall boy White Claws and it was the perfect sipper drink. The lighting and sound was good for the experience here and they had plenty of vantage points (including a VIP upper floor). Security wasn't bad, I didn't bring a bag, so I breezed through. There's a large parking structure right behind the TBF, so walking over was very easy too. We did initially have handicap people in our group who opted not to attend after we shared that the surrounding sidewalks were not very level and that the amount of people might be a little tricky for navigating with a walker. All in all though, I had a great time here!
