Not a big selection to choose from, but the pulled pork sandwich is very good. The hot links are good also.

Smith And Betts Barbecue - BBQ egg rolls

I ordered take out. The pulled pork was the best I've ever had with little to no fat. The sides…read morewere great, too. This bbq place is new (I think a few months) and is the 3rd or 4th restaurant in this Tontitown/Springdale location in as many years. I sincerely hope they make it. However, there is one suggestion that has nothing to do with food quality. That is the lack of atmosphere. Hanging a couple old quilts on the wall for color and interest would go a long way. Or, just add some vintage posters. The place is depressing. Good luck!!!

I rated this at 4 stars for a few reasons…read more 1. It's a small town BBQ joint that provides a home felt meal that is simple, tasty, and easy. It feels like an in house home cooked BBQ meal, and that just makes it feel comfortable and safe! 2. Yes, it could be more tender, smokey, and with bigger taste profile. But this would be fine if I'm just wanting something that I wouldn't be upsetting. 3. The BBQ egg rolls were great and everyone loved them! The okra was really great also! 4. The potato salad was not the best and could use improvement. The burnt ends were very sweet and sugary which isn't normal to me, but it's simple and ok. The brisket wasn't bad but everything needs more smoke. I am rating it at 4 because of everyone's feedback. As for me, I'd give it a 3 star, but still better than Central that used to be in Fayetteville...not saying much. For a local BBQ place that isn't big time it's just fine! The service was quick and easy. I'd like to see how it goes down the road.

They have great beer on tap....which I consider very important for a restaurant. Overall atmosphere was 9 out of 10!!! AND, the restroooms rivals a Buc-ees restroom in cleanliness!!! Now for why I gave it only 3 stars after all the positives I just mentioned. I got the 3 meat platter and I chose brisket, hot link and because they were out of ribs, the cheddar wurst. None of the meat met my expectations. Brisket was dry (I hate having to use bbq sauce....but was forced to on the brisket. It was that dry.), the cheddar wurst is the same quality as you'd find in the sausage section of a chain grocery store (actually it was a bit funky in texture), and the hot link was very plain tasting. I want to see this place succeed so I'm being honest about the food in hopes they kick up the quality a few notches. I'd pay an extra $5 a meat plate for good quality bbq. If you just want to stuff your face with bbq go to a chain bbq restaurant. Not sure what's going on but the quality of food has declined the last few years in local eateries everywhere. Fingers crossed the Rusty Anchor takes the quality up a couple notches.

You have to get the TX-style brisket. The green beans are sweetened and unique as far as green beans go. Sure, the stores are nice and neat and tidy. Very "southern comforting" type of design. The staff is friendly, but only because it's running on Southern manners, lacking the charm. The food is good. If you gave it to me, I would eat it and not complain. Since I bought it, I will say it's okay, but certainly not legendary. Brisket was perfectly tender but not particularly flavorful. The ribs and chicken were both good, with the chicken (oddly) being the most flavorful thing I tried. Sides are overwrought and unbalanced. Back it off a bit, Wright's. The exception is the mac and cheese, which is the opposite and too much like Kraft with added cream. All the sides were meh. I will probably return if I'm nearby and there's no line. This place is definitely NOT worth waiting in a long line for--I'm not buying the hype. Okay
