    Ribeye with cheesy potatoes.
    Dan W.

TLDR: Ribeye was great quality, cooked properly, and overall great tasting meat. The cheesy potatoes are good. The Caesar was good. Liked that they had rye bread. The owner was friendly and clearly engaged running the place. The waitstaff was pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere is upscale country dining. It's north of town and sits off the road on a ranch to the west, watch for a sign along the east side of road. Full Review: I had heard about this place but rarely make it to Vinita. I happened to be nearby and decided to give it a try. Note it is dinner only but the owner did mention. A monthly Sunday lunch they were starting next month. If you are around Vinita, it's worth stopping by. Note it is a few miles north of town and you have to watch for the sign because the restaurant is on a ranch about 1/4 west off the road. While I looked at the menu, they brought a loaf of rye bread. Which was good and sadly becoming a rarer sight at steak houses these days. The Caesar salad was good. I decided I would have liked a tad more dressing. But was so far along I decided not to ask for it. They cooked my ribeye to perfection. It's hard to find a medium rare steak prepared properly. The marbling was good the cut was clearly high quality. The flavor of the steak was good. There was no significant seasoning or marinade that I could taste. It truly reminded me of the proverbial saying (the best steaks are home cooked steaks). It also reminded me of an uncle who would say if it's a good cut of meat and it's cooked right, you don't need seasonings, marinades, and sauces. For my side. I went with my waitresses recommendation of the cheesy potatoes. They were also great. Even the roll was warm like it just came out of the oven. I went early and the owner stopped by and chatted for quite awhile. I was well ahead of crowds but they were expecting a packed house. So it is probably a good idea to make reservations (unless you are hankering for a steak at 5pm like I was). The owner was very friendly. This restaurant is on her ranch land. So there is a good chance you're truly getting meat as fresh as you can get it. She even told me how they make one of their specialities (the cowboy candy steak morsels). But I won't share that secret here. The wait staff was great. They were attentive but not intrusive. Delilah was my main waitress. She was helpful, provided good suggestions, and offered a togo drink (knowing I was about to be on the road for a while). I also noticed they seemed well staffed for the impending busy night ahead of them. So I would be shocked if they weren't equally attentive with a full house. Atmosphere. It is a charming barn style restaurant with upscale country charm. I could see where some persnickety people might ding it for not using table cloths or for having a gravel parking lot. But this all adds to the authenticity in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, this place was designed to serve as fine dining and accomplishes it well without crossing over into snooty or uncomfortable. I will certainly be back the next time I am in the Vinita area.

Prime rib loaded baked potato( or was supposed to be )

I've only eaten at this place 2 times and I never give a review of a place that I've only eaten at once. To start. The first time we came it was for our anniversary. We got a reservation for a later time. Upon arrival we were immediately seated that was great. Ordered drinks I ordered a blueberry Old Fashioned (amazing) my wife usually gets a margarita so she stuck to the same...( it was fine). She ordered the Chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy. ( delicious). I had ordered the prime rib $49.99 I however wasn't really happy with it. It was pretty tough..... however all in all it was a great experience!!! The second visit was not a good experience at all however.... We were seated immediately again but this time we waited 10-15 minutes just to make a drink order. Then other 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. And we still hadn't even ordered our food yet. Finally after seeing them sitting at the bar. I walked up and got them myself. Finally the bus boy came by and offered us bread. Then the waitress came by and took our order. The only thing she ever brought to the table was 2 glasses of water. She never refilled them but did ask if we needed more( which we said yes to). We both orders the same food entree. She got the CFC again and I got the prime rib again which was a huge improvement over the last steak I got. They were not offering the blueberry old fashion so I just got a regular and the bartender made me a Manhattan..... believe it or not it happens all the time. So I just deal with it now. This place is fine so I can't really talk it down or up. However. The next date night most likely will be spent elsewhere

Petite filet, grilled shrimp and loaded baked potato....FANTASTIC!

Amazing food and staff! A must try if you're in Vinita! You won't find fresher meat anywhere else.

Still has a 24/7 restaurant 365 still one of the few places where you can smoke inside and do what you want and get served some of the waitresses grab a puff during a lull. I occasionally come in here and have a meal I forgot I had to really reviewed last time so it's got a full me menu they got their own smoked products too which are pretty good. There's a salad bar at night and a buffet on the weekends I think when there's enough staff for it. I came in wanted just to standard breakfast so I ordered some french toast and a side of bacon coffee. French toast was nicely done they bring out the powdered sugar so you can dust it yourself they have the sugar-free syrup and the bacon was really good nice thick three slices for three bucks not that. Lot of times when I'm coming through here I'm usually passing by because it's usually in the middle of my travels I'm usually not really stopping in here but this morning I decided I wanted to sit down breakfast. Keep up the good work still doing a good job
