But the truck drivers know what they're doing. And so do locals and other motorists who decide that exiting I-40 for barbecue is worth it. Because it is! Exit 87 BBQ is indeed smoking legit barbecue overlooking I-40 as numerous people drive by. And they have a whole bevy of smokers to prove it. The brisket is tender and flavorful with crispy edges.
