The benches for the booths need some serious reupholstering! We chose to sit at a table. I love the rustic wood. We ordered the special for the day which included a sandwich, a side and a drink. We both ordered the Yard Bird with Alabama sauce. I really enjoyed it but my husband said it was so so. He doesn't like mayo. I enjoyed the flavor and the slight kick. All in all it was a good meal and the employees were very friendly. We would eat here again. I would like to recommend that you grill your buns, as the cold, dry bun kind of made it less tasty.

There is a huge selection of bottled and canned drinks as you walk in the door and make your way to the butcher's counter and/or to the deli sandwich corner and the hot line. Self serve iced tea and soft drinks are available, too. Desserts are available--but we were too full from our lunch to try any of them. We are glad we found this gem!
