I've come here several times while in the Jackson TN area for work. It is a really quick and reasonably healthy option while away from home. I've primarily gotten the bowls with various protein. The falafel bowl is really good, and it's nice to have a vegetarian option. I also really enjoyed the lamb meatballs and salmon protein choices. I've stuck with quinoa as my grain and not been disappointed. The cookies are also really good, and pretty reasonably priced. All the employees I've interacted with have also been nice and sort of funny. They may recognize me when I come multiple days in a row. read more

The worst Taziki's I have ever been to. Ordered a lemon soup and Greek salad. How can you mess that up? Well they did. The soup was not even warm and the salad well it was brown. Wilted and about half of what you normally get. I do not recommend this location. read more

Stopped by on the way in from Memphis. Had the lamb gyro and the soft pita with hummus. Pita with hummus was as excellent as I expected. The gyro was only marginal. It wasn't bad but not on par with most I have had. Maybe that this is a chain and I usually eat in local small places. Not bad and really the only option in Jackson that I know of for Mediterranean. Service was spectacular and they were all very friendly. Bright and colorful decor as to be expected for a change. There is outdoor seating but not a good option this time of year. read more

Who drives 560 miles for lunch??? ‍ For weeks in planning our trip to North Carolina we knew we had to return to our friends Els and Rachel's Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe! The cafe was bustling with lots of customers and a full staff caring for each one. Els saw us and immediately smiled saying "You came back!!" We missed seeing Rachel and the newest member of the family ~ CONGRATULATIONS!!! The food was excellent and just what we needed for our long road trip. Cooked to perfection, fresh and gorgeous fruit & veggies, everything your body needs to be happy! If you are on I-40 in Tennesse the Jackson Taziki's is a must stop. If you are a local ~ then you are so blessed to have this excellent family in your area serving up delicious food and love. Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is fairly new to Jackson, TN and I'm glad it has arrived! The location is right in the heart of the city. It is located near numerous stores, restaurants, and a gym. Taziki's was very clean, fully staffed, and a vast menu. I chose the salmon with the Mediterranean salad. Let me just say the food was cooked to perfection, seasoned well, and juicy salmon. Hands down best customer service today that we have had in years! The food was delicious, fresh, and flavor was authentic. We were there for an afternoon meal and the food came out fast and perfectly cooked. The texture of the hummus was my favorite (citrusy in flavor too big thumbs up), not too smooth or lumpy, just right! Let's just talk about how unbelievably well stocked and clean the dining room is, you'll find everything you need and more at the beverage bar, even that slice of lemon for your tea. Possibly the manager, who we spoke with was personable and knowledgeable, even asking questions to better understand the allergens we were avoiding. Kind of a fast-food ambience but staff was super friendly and service was fast and food really good! Wife had grilled salmon and I had chicken kabobs. She loves salmon so when she raves about it it's worth paying attention! Also the baklava cheesecake was pretty awesome! read more

Just when I thought the food couldn't be any better, I ventured away from my usual menu choice of Lamb burger (amazing) and had the Taziki signature pasta. When I received my dish I was immediately curious as to the brown coating on it instead of the red sauce. To my surprise it was a light refreshing and delicious bowl of food. The portion size was more than I could consume yet I managed to scarf it all down. It won't disappoint nor will any of the other menu items. A must try if you've never been here. read more

We were excited to have Taziki's come to Jackson. We are fans of Mediterranean food having eaten in that area many times. I had the lamb gyro which came with potato chips and roasted potatoes. The potatoes had no flavor but plenty of grit-like texture as if they hadn't been properly washed. The lamb in the gyro tasted of nothing. No spices to set it apart from air, and it was full of connective tissue and fat. I almost cried. Most of my food was left uneaten. The ordering process was awkward, with no menus one could hold and read immediately available. There was a poster of the menu requiring one to stand around with other diners to figure out what was on offer. There was also an overhead menu for those of us who are 9 feet tall. What kept this from being a totally user-unfriendly set up were the young people who took the orders, delivered them, and cleaned the tables. They were personable, organized, and helpful. The dining area is small, but business was brisk and the seats were full. I haven't entirely given up on this place because they seem to have inviting salads worth trying, and the pita bread was lush. I offer my version of dinner there as encouragement for the owners to take things in hand and produce flavorful, well-washed food. I know they are new and I want them to succeed. read more
