This company is greedy, Im sure they do a decent job with visas, but they simply took my money without offering a service. I booked an appointment, then decided I was not going forward with it so cancelled within the hour. They went on to still charge me $40, even though they had to do absolutely no work for me. Travel Visa Pro saved my vacation! This expediter is part of a special group that has clearance to hand carry a passport renewal into the agency. Their customer service is outstanding. This was a classic example of under promise and over deliver. They promised to process my passport renewal within four weeks. Yet they completed it in one week. Special thanks to Marriane my rep who was extremely helpful. I just received my new passport book from FedEx - (who will charge you $900 to expedite a passport renewal.) Travel Visa Pro is about half the cost. Worth every dollar for the peace of mind. I have a law degree so I did my due diligence. Most of all they treat the customer with respect. I was checking around to find services to get a Chinese visa. I ended up not being able to get the visa due to lack of time before my trip, so I called Travel Visa Pro and asked them to refund the $282 they charged me before receiving any documentation or confirmation from me that I would indeed be moving forward with the visa process. I received a refund of $269 after waiting about 7 business days and when I called to ask why I hadn't been refunded the full amount I was told there's a $17 "cancellation fee." It's possible this was in the fine print somewhere, but I wasn't advised of it when I asked for the refund and I've just paid Travel Visa Pro $17 for an interest-free week-long loan of $282 for providing absolutely no services whatsoever. Other visa companies don't charge you until you send documentation--this entire experience was a time-consuming money grab. read more

I needed to renew my 5 year Indian Visa for an upcoming trip in January. I used Travel Visa Pro and upgraded to their Concierge Service. I believed that they were experts in dealing with the Indian Consulate and that I would have no trouble getting my 5 year visa renewal using their Concierge service. I paid Travel Visa Pro over $600 for their fee and consulate fees. Today I received my passport from them and was dismayed to see that I got only a 1 year Visa. I received no communication from Travel Visa Pro that there was an issue getting a 5 year Visa. When I sent them an email about my dissatisfaction I received a rude email back from the owner Kestutis Gregeris . This guy has never heard the words Called Customer Service. Now I have $600 1 year visa and will have to re-do this process again in less than a year. I am not sure how they perform with other countries Visas.... But the clearly are not the right service for an Indian Visa. Use them at your own risk and definitely DO NOT.. waste money on their useless concierge service. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. We walked into this building after circling and finding NO parking, to only get rude service. The employee, who was a blonde foreigner male, stood far away from us, and didn't welcome us in. I told him we were trying to get our passports and he said that he was busy and it was by appointment only. Mind you, the place was empty. After asking him what forms we needed, he mentioned he could complete everything there for an additional fee, which my boyfriend and I accepted, and once we presented our birth certificates, he said he didn't have time. I used VisaPro in Houstonto renew my passport. While the old passport was in their keeping it went missing. They claimed loss but I feel certain it was stolen. I didn't learn of the loss for two weeks. They are required by law to notify the FBI of a lost passport immediately. This did not happen until they reapplied for my new passport some weeks later. This puts me in a vulnerable situation. I now have the new passport but I'm wondering what has happened with the old one My warning. Don't use this agency. EPD read more

I needed a 1 month tourist visa for vacation in Russia. My trip was on 10/5/2011, and I applied for the visa with Travel Visa Pro on 9/13/2011. The quoted price was : Consular Fee: $160.00, Service Fee: $39.00, FedEx overnight to return docs $20.00, Total $219. I completed their instructions and mailed them my docs and passport. I requested 10 day service. They received my docs on 9/15, and I had my completed visa back in-hand by 9/26. I found their instructions clear and convenient. I had no problems with the visa during my travel. So, my experience with this company was great! You can get this visa yourself, but the Houston consular fee is $140, the "tourist confirmation letter" you need is ~$40, and all docs must be presented at the consulate in person! The extra $40 I paid to TVP was well worth it. read more

He sent in all the required paperwork and there was a glitch! The birth certificate was not the correct form that the passport office requires. Sugeila in the Houston office was very kind, helpful and patient when explaining how to rectify the situation. I personally took the correct document to her office and met her. There are real people working diligently to get you your passport in a timely fashion (I don't know how else it would get done, but actually seeing them sorting through stacks of FedEx boxes and documents made it real for some reason). I live in a different state whose residents must use a Consulate that is in Houston. Also, that Consulate does not accept mail-in applications for the visa.
