I've used Nick and his team for my home and a rental property for several years. Benjamin has been…read moreour technician, and he is top notch. I can think of two significant differences between Pronto and the other services I've used. First, is the breadth of their service... if critters bug you, they will deal with it. You won't hear "that's not our job" from these folks. Second, the extent to which they will do battle with the bugs is awesome. They are tenacious. We had a crazy ant problem occur, and Benjamin worked through several treatment options (everything short of hand-to-hand combat) and was able to nuke them for good. I think their prices are competitive, but frankly I'd pay more for this level of service. Just don't tell Nick that LOL.

Chris was recommended to me by my realtor on a recent home purchase. I was impressed with his…read moreknowledge, his professionalism and his honesty and integrity in explaining what I might and might not need at my new home. For example, he explained that even though I'm near a creek and woods, there's no stagnant water and no greenery around my house itself other than grass and a few small shrubs...so we shouldn't worry too much about mosquito prevention unless or until I was bothered by mosquitoes. Two hot summer months later, I can tell you he's right...I've seen barely a 'skeeter so there was indeed no need for chemicals to ward them off. Whew!!! What a relief because those things love my sweet and tasty self. We discussed termite prevention and he educated me about why, if I'm going to spend on a treatment, I'll want a moisture barrier in my crawlspace to support that effort. He pointed out the challenges and perils of the fact that my previous owner left a tree stump in the crawlspace rather than remove it before constructing an addition. (Surprise surprise!) There was no pressure in buying from him during our time together; he truly was there to educate me as a new homeowner and new to the area, on his professional assessment of my needs. We spent adequate time discussing and there was no rush; he answered all my questions and offered some solid advice (such as keeping a bug journal of what I see, when and where, to discuss with him during regular quarterly visits) that would build a foundation for our work together in caring for my home. Based on the date of the last big treatment of my (wood construction, wood siding) residence, we agreed it would be best to do a large initial preventive treatment with a 5-year lifespan. His cost was several hundred dollars less than the 'big box' companies and, as a family-owned operation, I knew I was getting the benefit of not just Chris's knowledge but also one generation above if he bounced things off his Dad (which...who doesn't ask Dad for advice if they love and respect their Dad? Also a good sign of a stand-up guy!) Chris was fast, responsive, and made it easy for me to hire and pay him. He is good at communicating by phone or email or text and accepts all forms of payment, including cash, checks and PayPal as payment methods, for those of us who like the more modern electronic methods. I get real peace of mind knowing that I have an ethical, hard-working business owner who cares about his personal reputation in the local community, on my side in helping me care for my new home. I am very lucky to have been referred to this gentleman, and look forward to many years ahead of a great business relationship. Do not hesitate to try Pinpoint for your pest control needs!

I woke up one night to the sound of something thrashing in our attic (which is right over my bed). Convinced it was a mouse, I woke my DH (Darling Husband) and we sat there listening for it to stop. Once the same came up he found critter stuck to a glue trap left by our pest control. Upon further inspection, it was decided that flying squirrel had come into our builders gap. Because of the amount of trees around the property our attic was currently being used as a pathway, den and gathering place for the squirrels. My skeptical DH does not like anyone else working in his home, but this was outside his scope. I found Cristian on Yelp; although he had few reviews, his website was very informative and his demeanor was very professional. We left a message and he called us back at the end of the day. He was puntual, professional, communicated and answered all the questions he was asked. He went above and beyond the job. He not only perform the exclusion job we hired him for, he cleaned our gutters, changed the lightbulbs in the flood lights and covered all the vents for us. We asked him to put a small screen on a bathroom window we could not reach and he was so kind to do that for us as well. It's a shame that 5 stars is all we could give him, he certainly deserves more.

Things started out well, but have ended horribly. We hired Christian based on a referral and he was…read moreable to come out to address our pest issue quickly. He recommended sealing the roof, showed the material he would use, and said he would disinfect the attic as well as pick up the traps when everything was done in a few weeks. While he was sealing a space around our AC unit, he accidentally punctured the AC pipe! We then had to find an AC tech to come out immediately. He was very picky about who we selected because of the price he would have to pay for fixing the issue, and he did pay for the repair by removing that cost from his service. After the roof was sealed, he told us he placed the traps and told us to check them every few days to see if anything was caught. Once we confirmed there was nothing he said he would come out and disinfect the attic and remove the traps, as apart of his service. After a few weeks we did not see any new activity and called him to come pick up the traps as well as disinfect, as promised. He refused to come unless we paid him to do it, but it was initially included in the price we already paid him. We sucked it up because we didn't want to pay more but we're upset that we would still have to deal with pest feces in our attic space. Now, 2 years later, we have new activity, which was confirmed by another company. They took pictures of the shoddy work that was done and showed where he left some gaps in the roof. The metal he used to seal is also much smaller than what this company was suggesting. I am beyond upset! Finally, when I messaged him about this, he immediately got defensive and said the other company was lying And his work is great! All in all, the proof is in the fact that the pests are back, there are gaps in our roof, and he never came back to finish the initial job that he promised to do, even considering the extra damage and inconvenience he did to our home via the hole in our AC unit. Do not hire him, this is bad business.

The pest control company that I usually use wasn't equipped to handle whatever might be inside. Skedaddle handled things beautifully for me! The person who spoke to me on the phone got all my information, listened carefully, and gave me good advice about what I needed based on what was happening (a free assessment, rather than jumping to an animal removal appointment). The person who came to my house called ahead, offered to text me when he arrived (because I was in work meetings), and was incredible! He checked out the stove, not just quickly looking inside, but poking carefully to see how it was set up and whether anything might be hiding out of sight. He examined the pipes leading to the stove. And, he explained what likely caused the sound (a bee that had since died). He also pointed out the outside chimney and helped me understand a bit about how it was set up, why I likely didn't need to do anything, but also offered to send a quote to add some protection if I wanted it. The quote was very reasonable, and if I thought that I needed the additional protection, I'd hire them in a second to do it. Incredibly reassuring, informative, and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to call again or to recommend them. Thank you so much, Skedaddle!
