    Run Away from Active/Rentokil/Terminix…read more I've had service with this company for years. The first two techs I had were fantastic. It's been quite literally nose-dive downhill ever since. Poor tech behavior (I've had to have one completely barred from my home). Inspectors who don't fully do their job. While I appreciate hearing - in 3-hour detail standing in my living room - about your Frenchie breeding business, you didn't take a single note to get me the estimate on the work I needed done. It took 3 months to get somebody to get me the estimate so I can get the work done. The second inspector told me it was bc the first one thought he couldn't close a sale. Clearly he doesn't know how bc the second one got the business, no problem. The two people who have always been professional & consistent: Princess & Stacy. I appreciate you both. But this takes the cake: Finally got the work done. Well, partially, bc the 2nd tech that was supposed to show up & help Stacy never showed, so the work isn't complete. But what did Active do? They charged my checking account - ON CHRISTMAS EVE - for the ENTIRE amount of the work (a 4 figure job, for reference) to my checking account instead of the GreenSky financing account I opened to pay for the work. CHRISTMAS. RUINED. Liquid cash? Gone. On a holiday. Account in SHAMBLES bc you better believe the rest of my bills continued to pull from the account. Disaster is not even the word to describe this. I called at least 5 times + multiple emails to get somebody to call me and face me to deal with this. Nobody ever called back. You can't contact someone local at "your local pest control experts" (that's what's on the phone greeting) to deal with it like adults. No urgency in fixing THEIR ERROR for a contracted, years-long customer. I used to be able to speak to someone in the local office. Their new phone system doesn't allow that. You can only have customer service send a message to ask them to call you back. So much for that "local" part. Imagine behaving like this when running a multi-million dollar business where you just acquired/merged with Terminix to make you even bigger? You don't DESERVE to be bigger. You deserve to be sanctioned. And you absolutely deserve this review. I'll eventually be switching companies but considering it's the holidays & I don't have my money back yet or the mental energy to do this error-correcting labor, it's not at the top of my list. Will be on the lookout for New Years specials from their competitors though.

    Been with Active Pest control for Termite service for 30…read moreYears. Paid my bill each year on time when I received the bill. I did not receive a bill for 2021 and they cancelled my policy. I called and told them I was waiting for the bill and they still would not continue my policy. Instead, they wanted me to start all over. They are not, in my opinion, customer driven. I'll be looking for another company.

I thought I could manage with the DIY kit I bought from Facebook and all that it killed were crickets. It wasn't until I found a wasp nest under one of the alcoves on the front of my house and having to kill a spider, with babies pouring out of it that I finally realized enough is enough!! My sister lives in the area and recommended a chain service, but I found their online reviews to be consistently negative. So, I did some research on Yelp and Google and found Hole-In-One Pest Solutions. I wish I had called earlier as I continue to put this off despite having additional spiders coming through various cracks, corners, doorways, etc. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and kind. Super easy to talk to and helped me set up my first pest control appointment. I've always lived in an apartment so I've never had to deal with this before. I appreciated her patience and compassion as I explained my terrifying wolf spider story. Within just a couple days (due to my schedule) I had a tech out at my place. He listened attentively to the issues, and after a walk around the perimeter we agreed to a treatment plan and price. (Side note - a big turn off and red flag for me is when companies try to guilt or scare you into a subscription or additional services. This was NOT the case. Thank you for treating me fairly and not taking advantage of a first time homeowner/renter. I will always respect the integrity of a company that stands behind their services and work to create value added packages without the over the top sales pressure, and that starts from the top, so kudos to your management!!) When I say (my tech) Trace Barron went above, and beyond, he went above and beyond...stay tuned. - Laid down traps inside of my garage - wore shoe covers when coming indoors - cleared away existing spider webs from outdoor areas for me - washed down windows where pesticide had dripped down on windows from wasp nest removal Thank you Trace for caring about me, my home and my dogs. More importantly, thank you for ridding my house of those god awful eight legged creatures. I truly appreciated your compassion and attention to detail. I would recommend Trace and the team at Hole in One Pest control to anyone in their service area. I promise you won't be disappointed.
