    Margarita pizza

Conveniently located right in Roma Termini, the Mercato Centrale consists of one floor of shops, markets, groceries, and another of restaurants. I tried two from here - trappazino and one of the pizzas. The vegetarian trappazink was delicious and filling, not a bad price for a quick snack on the go, about 6 euros. I got a suppli and pizza from the restaurant across the way. Keep your receipt if you want to use the bathrooms, you have to scan the QR code to get in. Great option if you wants something quick before/after setting off on your journey!

I didn't think I was going to like this pizza pocket , but I did. It's so delicious. They have 5 classic flavors, but I picked one of their seasonal flavors (I guess). It was made with prosciutto. It's so flavorful! The shop is located inside the Mercato Centrale. The line was moderate, but the service was quick. The market was busy and quite noisy. But it was a fun experience. I would love to come back next time, maybe in a different location.

For two years I lived about a 2 minute walk away from the NYC location of trapizzino and went fairly often. My family loved it too. So it was a bit of an unusual move for me to give it a try in Italy since normally I like trying places I can't get elsewhere. With that said I didn't get to my hotel until 11:30, was exhausted, and there was nothing else good for delivery. Idk if it was the hunger or the fact that I haven't had it in a while, but OH MY GOD, it's just obscenely good. The chicken cacciatore is truly one of the best bites of food I've had in my life, including 3 Michelin star experiences, and is €5? I got a beef one as well which was also absolutely awesome, would highly recommend but if you're only going to get one, get the chicken. 1 for a light meal, 1 plus a suppli for a medium meal, 2 for a heavy meal. Only "downside" is that they're not easily shareable if you're not super hungry and want to try more than one. Mmm I'm fantasising about it just thinking about it.

Amazing Triangular pockets make from Roman style pizza dough and stuffed with a variety of meats or vegetables. This place is in the back of the food court at the main train station. I would have never known it even existed had my family member insist that we stop here. I had the special of the day which had for meats in a brown sauce. It was absolutely perfect. Next I had the meatball, it was perfect. One large meatball with lots of sauce if the warm and crispy pocket. I sampled the eggplant and the Ethiopian and they were good as well. Now va I'm going to have to try and duplicate these incredibly delicious pizza pockets at home. If you are in Rome, you have to try your place. It is one of the best pizza there is in Rome. Expect it to be very loud and crazy in the food court area. You order at the counter, then they call you when your pockets are ready. Service is fast. We ordered, ate at a nearby high top table, and were on our way within 15 minutes!

Delicious street food. This place was a must visit for me and I'm happy we went. I had the meatball and my husband had the chicken. Both were yummy.

Best triangle-shaped food you'll ever eat. Sorry to hurt your feelings my samosa and hamentachen friends but a trapizzino beats you hands down. This creation is warm delicious pizza dough shaped as a triangular pocket and filled with things. We only had the meatball trap and are longing for another. 4 Euro is a fair price for this tasty snack. A word about the Mercato Centrale. It's a lovely little island of good eats on one side of the train station-sort of FoodieStan for gourmand travelers, hipsters and those in the know. You have to look for it. If you enter the Coin department store and walk all the way through and down to the end, you'll run into it. Many good places in there but don't miss Trapizzino.

My lord. Skip everything besides this place. My husband and I were about to spend an extra day in Rome just to have this place a second time. The meat was so tender and the bread was such a perfect balance of crunchy and airy that, when mixed with that mouthgasmic slow cooked goodness the Italians call meat, a perfect combination of a sandwich you'll never find in the US was formed. We had 3 sandwiches but could have easily gotten a fourth, which, after not having done so, made us question our existence. This is located in a food hall that contains what seems like other decent eats as well (which I'm sure won't compare to this restaurant) so you'll have options in case you have bad taste and don't like these sandwiches.

This was a good choice for a small lunch! It was a small clean decor with outdoor options. I got the chicken cacciatore Trapizzino and suppli! I loved that the menu explained the food in English and Italian. The food came out quickly and the waiters were friendly!

Trapizzino serves delicious food. We each had the chicken cacciatore, which was outstanding. The service is prompt, and there were plenty of nearby tables that were not taken.

Delicious from start to finish! The bread is airy on the inside with a light crunch on the crust. The meatballs are flavorful and have fantastic texture. All of the options sound great. This is a perfect grab and go spot right at the train station

Best food we had in Rome! The pizza cones are amazing. I had the oxtail and my husband had the chicken one. Both were delicious.

Two places that stood out: - Trapizzino (cone shaped bread with filling inside) I got the meatball one and was so good, the bread was also so fresh! - Truffle pasta from Savini Tartufi (a bit pricey at 22 euro) the pasta and flavour was exactly as I imagined it to be, it was worth the money! Also got a slice of pizza, artichoke, and a sandwich that were all pretty good as well! Do NOT get pasta from La Pasta Fresca. I got the carbonara that's supposedly "fresh" but I am convinced it was not. The pasta was so hard and way too salty. After a few days in Rome, I can confirm this is probably the worst pasta I have had. There are washrooms in the back of the market. Along with table service for coffee and drinks. We were a group of 6 and took a round to find a table but it was not too hard to find. All the vendors we went to accepted credit card.

Pizzas of 20 varieties at a time with more coming out every few minutes. We love them all, even the potato chip one! They also have a nice selection of pastries and cookies but we didn't try those. The Mercato Centrale is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood and the train traveling experience with other great vendors there as well. It's a wonderful foodie food court including the equally splendid Trapazzino which is another place to try if you still have room after Bonci.

We had the vongole clams and coda alla vaccinara romana. The clam pasta was just OK - most of the clams were empty and the first pasta came out cold. This is not like the American version of Chinese food, they have to improvise on a lot of things. That being said the food is still good and edible. The waiters did not speak English only Italian so this gives you an idea of how this part of town is not touristy at all. They still manage to communicate with us on what we want to order. A couple of times i been here with my friends and someone just pointed to what someone was eating to the table next to us and the waiter knew that's what we wanted haha good times. In terms of staff they all were friendly even tho we did not understand 90% of what they said. The restaurant was clean and they did not let those annoying street vendors in, you know the ones selling light up roses or some robot toy etc. There are a lot of restaurants in the touristy areas that WILL let those guys in but many do not and this is one of them. So if you want to eat your meal in peace this would be one of them. For sure try it and you will experience this American favorite in a whole new light.

The waiters at first weren't that welcoming but I think it was because they couldn't really speak English as they spoke Italian and mandarin. If you do speak in English they do have some waiters that are able to communicate some words to try and help you out. I would recommend the pan fried dumplings, the beef and vegetables and some other Chinese hot plates.
