And this is only because I took my car to a different oil place. This oil place changed my oil back yo the recommended oil. I was so worried I would have issues with my car. I took it directly to the dealership. They basically told me Grease Monkey did wrong. They put 0w20 when my car was taking and recommended 5w30 or 0w30. It's not good to do that. I spoke with a manager and he said he would have Matt (district manager mt Rushmore rd Rapid City South Dakota location) I explained the situation and asked to speak with his supervisor. Only because after explaining, Matt said there was no issues. Was really rude about it. I said i was worried about my car. He just got short and ruder. Matt told me that he had no phone number for his supervisor directly but i could go to the website "like he said he does" and email them. I'm furious by this time. I have called several times and left messages. I have emailed a few times as well. NO ONE will contact me. As soon as the doors opened, they got us in right away. Everyone at this shop was outstanding -- helpful, professional, and genuinely caring. The level of service here is something other shops could learn from. Thank you for not only getting us taken care of, but also allowing us to fix our trailer in your parking lot while you worked on the truck. Your team made a stressful situation so much easier. We truly appreciate it.

The diesel mechanics said they could repair it for $5000 or remove the DEF system for $1600. I chose to remove it. Now 2026 my truck was stolen and was recovered with no keys. No body in the area would work on it to get new keys cause of the missing DEF system, especially the Ford dealership. I went to Rapid Diesel and talked to them. They said they could take care of my problem of no keys and check the truck out for any other issues. They were great to work with. They notice that the brakes have been rode hard and desperately needed replacing which they did. They were very upfront with everything, no surprises. Next time I need diesel repair in Rapid City there is no question, I'm going to go to Rapid Diesel. I can't say enough good about them, they were great.

While I could provide specific examples of how they have taken care of me over the years, I will invite you to experience it for yourselves. They OWN their work, both their successes and mistakes, and I won't spend my money anywhere else. Ever.

I have many miles more to go for my return trip to my home in San Diego, California so I stopped in Rapid City, South Dakota and showed up early the next morning at the Service Department of Denny Menholt Rushmore Honda. I was there 10 minutes before opening time. As soon as the service department opened at 7:30 AM, they took care of me. They had the problem corrected within 15 minutes. There was no waiting, no charge, and the service department representative had a friendly attitude so early in the morning. The service department of Denny Menholt Rushmore Honda was simply outstanding! This is the first Honda I have owned after years of driving Toyotas. After a bad experience trying to buy a new Toyota in 2023, I switched to Honda and bought my vehicle in San Diego. They were so friendly and helpful. On a recent trip to Wisconsin, I visited a Honda dealership for maintenance and they were efficient and friendly. Now I have received outstanding service in Rapid City, South Dakota. Looks like I am going to be a Honda customer for the rest of my life!

Er had called a dealer in Rapid city before someone told us about D&F. This place is a real auto mechanic shop! We had no idea what was wrong as our truck wouldn't drive past 50 miles an hour. And the owner had this truck fixed in no time. The dealerships before someone told us about DF told us that repair will take weeks. And this shop fixed it in less than 4 hours and it was perfect. I can't thank the locals for this recommendation. A very honest shop that didn't gauge us with $$$$. Rapid city dealership didn't care. But D&F truck and auto repair in Wall , South Dakota did such a wonderful job. Fixing our truck and off we went and enjoyed our vacation immensely. Thank you D&F. You did such a wonderful job and we appreciate your patience and troubleshooting the problem you found in no time. Value estimate was honest and far less than a dealer repair. This shop is honest!
