On their seller pre-inspection report, Transparent Inspections failed to point out a huge wall defect surrounding an old ventilation pipe in the garage as well as defect in the siding that served as an entry point for a huge rat AND bee infestation in my garage walls and ceiling. The rat infestation involved 2/3 of the garage. We had to tear out all the dry walls and ceilings with tons of rat carcasses and feces, hire bee keepers and pest control, as well as hire contractors to replace all the insulation, dry wall, painting plus city inspection which amounted to 6 figures. It was a huge emotional and financial shock. Had the inspection report been more thorough and transparent (no pun intended), we would not have bought the house. read more

He looked at all of the major systems and sent a pdf report to us via email later that day. The report was thorough and easy to read and understand.
