Although the sellers already had a pre-inspection, we were able to get an inspection contingency. We hired Bryan for an inspection and a sewer scope. We found Bryan's inspection to be much more thorough. His inspection included important items, particularly about the exterior/siding, that we have not seen in other inspections while looking at other homes. His report also helped us get an idea about what routine maintenance items will need to be done in the future to keep the house functioning well. Hiring Bryan helped us make a truly informed decision about our house. While his fees are very reasonable, Bryan's experience and advice is invaluable. We will be recommending Bryan to our friends.

I think I'm still in shock over my experience with J…read more I could tell you about how this guy gave me an in-depth home inspection while I was out-of-state that made me feel like I was right there the whole time. 100% felt like that was some of the best money I've ever spent. I could tell you how he -- completely unsolicited --offered to walk through the report in person with me whenever I got into Washington for the home sale. But Y'ALL. Let me tell you instead how I called this guy nearly TWO YEARS AFTER THE INSPECTION in a panic during the last big freeze when an exterior hose bib failed. Why? Because a) the water company had come through and updated the water meter, changing the look of the main shut-off (rendering my limited experience with the valve totally useless), and b) no plumber would come out, since they were responding to 19,383,629 other freeze-related emergencies. I expected NOTHING from this guy at this point: it was the hailiest of Hail Mary's. Instead, I got a quick "I'm on my way" from him. WHAT?!? When he got there, found another shut-off, and kept me from going without water (and my house from floating away on its own plumbing-failure river), my shriveled little Grinchy heart DID grow three sizes that day! J is good people doing good work. I will never work with anyone else for home inspections.

We addressed the couple items on the report and listed our home with confidence. Received an offer the first weekend and went into inspection. The buyers' inspector found mold in our attic; mold that our pre-list inspection did not find. Sure enough there was mold. Nick was the buyers' inspector who found it. With our home sale in jeopardy we quickly addressed the matter and thankfully closed. When I asked the other company why they didn't find the mold that had built up over the course of years, their reply was they weren't required to walk in the attic; they met state requirements and Nick exceeded the requirements. We received a refund from them. When it came to needing an inspection for our home we were in the process of purchasing, of course we contacted Nick. He was the one who found the mold our previous inspector failed to and we wanted someone who would exceed requirements. We also hired him to do another inspection right before our 1 year warranty expired. We'll be hiring him for any future needs and highly recommend him to everyone.
