BCC gave me the most detailed estimate out of 4 other body shops, broke down each charge, and even tried to save money by trying to find used fenders and other auto body parts to keep the cost low, especially since I was paying out of pocket. The business has an opportunity to improve on their communication. It took 2 months to get my bumper installed. The reason it took so long is because they never follow up to schedule your appointment. Then all of a sudden it would hit me and Id reach out then set a date. I spoke to them about the insurance claim and gave them all the details. They quoted me online which was a plus. Then they said they are going to order the parts. They never contacted me to let me know the parts made it. Then I asked next step. They said we need to do a paint match. I went for the paint match. They said they would contact me to schedule install after it's painted within 2 days. Almost two weeks went by and I realized I wasn't contacted so I reached out to get it scheduled. Dropped it off Monday morning and it was ready by the afternoon. This whole process started on 6/8/23 and was finished on 7/26/23 I understand I could have been more on top of it with faster follow ups, though I do believe it is the business responsibility to be on top of earning business and keeping the customer up to date of their sales process. I'd use them again in the future but I would be more prepared to make sure they get the job done in a quicker time frame. Take note that every person I spoke to during the process is kind and friendly.

It takes a long time to get your car in, a very long time to fix it, and then he doesn't stand by his work. He treats people badly. He knows nothing about proper customer service, nor about providing good service at all. You're already on thin ice with this man from the get-go. If you go somewhere else to have work done, it makes him very upset, and then he'll give you the boot for not using him exclusively--even though he's often extremely slow to schedule you in. Again, he doesn't stand by his work, and he works very slowly. The man will dictate what is required for you to be satisfied. He doesn't allow you to choose what you want and he basically ignores what you tell him regarding problems. Strange and anti-customer. Again, he's fickle, quick to anger, and basically doesn't want customers.

With 3 kids, no idea how we would get home and in general what we were going to do, I am beyond grateful that we had AAA tow the car, off the 215 freeway, to J & G transmissions. James, the owner, was knowledgeable and extremely quick in assessing the situation (of the car and of our family). He lent us a car to drive to get lunch while his team assessed, fixed and double checked the car. His daughter Amber is a saint, providing coloring books, drawing supplies, a tidy coffee bar and best of all, otter pops just when we needed them.
