Boy, did they come through! I was able to get a rebuilt transmission for half the price, and they even went above and beyond to help me fix my air conditioning, which had also gone bad. (Did I mention that my car is FIVE YEARS OLD?!?! ) Apple Ford quoted me a price of over $700 to fix the A/C, but my service tech at Lynchburg Transmissions got his hands on a used compressor and only charged me $150. My car is now driving perfectly, and I'm so happy to have A/C again, after a long, sweltering summer without it. I STRONGLY recommend Lynchburg Transmissions for any and all service you may need!

Every step of this was above and beyond. I can't say enough about what a positive experience this was. Woods is in my phone contact list now. When repairs were completed and I went in to pick up the vehicle, I was shocked when they presented me with a bill for $1507, more than 50% higher than their estimate. They did not notify me when they saw they could not stay within their estimate. The bill included a $975 charge for 7.5 hours labor which seems extreme. When I asked if the bill was a mistake, they defended it with no negotiation or even an apology. Seemed like nice folks in the beginning but watch out.
