Amazing massage! Comfortable and very calm!…read moreGiven a gift card and went back because the massage was exceptional.

However, despite discussing my history beforehand and specifically requesting deeper therapeutic work, the massage was much lighter than expected and did not provide the relief I was seeking. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business for individuals seeking true deep tissue massage, injury-focused treatment, or ongoing therapeutic support for chronic pain conditions. It felt more like a spa-style relaxation massage than a treatment-oriented session. Prospective clients should also be aware of potential insurance reimbursement issues. I was told the business would provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement, but the document provided contained only a CPT code and did not include diagnosis (ICD-10) information. I provided a referral from my healthcare provider containing the appropriate diagnosis codes, as well as documentation from my insurance company requesting that the diagnosis information be included on the superbill. Despite having both documents, the owner refused to update the form or include the diagnosis codes. As a result, my claim could not be processed and I was responsible for the full cost out of pocket. My concern is not that reimbursement was denied, but that the business advertises providing superbills for insurance reimbursement while refusing to include diagnosis information necessary to support a medical claim. Every other massage provider I have used for insurance reimbursement has included both CPT and diagnosis codes on their superbills. Had I known this business would not provide that information, I would have chosen a different provider.

Very friendly staff. I'm always greeted with a smile. I've been going to North Bend Therapeutic…read moreMassage for almost a year now. I will only see Heather, she always gives me a top notch massage and her technique is unrivaled. Her schedule is always full, so try to get on it early. I typically sign up for an hour but it is so relaxing that I always want more time. I work out a few times a week and I get very sore trying to cram workouts together. After an hour massage at MBTM, I feel like all my muscles have been healed. I live in Bellevue and it is definitely worth the 35 minute drive for me. PROTIP: Ask for the fire cupping, its super exotic :). A+++++++++

There's many different therapists so there's likely to be someone for everyone. I've had a massage from nearly all, if not actually all, of them. Most of them offered soft and relaxing massages with low lighting, soft music, and some of them include aromatherapy. None of the therapists gave the type of deep tissue massage that I require to keep me out of pain from my type of work, until I was finally able to get a massage scheduled with Hunter. He was able to give a proper deep tissue focusing mostly on my areas that get the most strained and pinched. I appreciate the relaxing environment, the quaint location with private rooms, and the ease of scheduling appointments online. They also take insurance which is a great find and will bill insurance for you so all you have to worry about is your copay if your insurance covers massage for medical purposes. Anytime I've needed to reschedule it's been very easy and I also appreciate their appointment reminders. Overall it's a pretty solid place with lots of choices for massage therapists, you just have to keep trying new ones until you find the perfect fit.

Due to our careers, we already have chronic back and neck pain and a brilliant masseuse is a critical part of our health maintenance. We found Bill through Yelp and were excited to find someone conveniently located here in North Bend. The business is in a yoga studio that he owns with his wife and it has a nice tranquil atmosphere. The massage room is private and comfortable with low lighting and music. Bill will sit here with you first and review your condition prior to your first massage and he also likes to review a bit at the end as well to discuss how specific stretching and ergonomics may improve how you feel, very helpful! While his massage isn't what we're used to from our conventional masseuse experience, we've found his method to be highly effective! We each see him twice a month and we definitely notice if we skip a session. He doesn't follow the normal massage pattern of doing one side, have you flip, do the other. Bill really gets involved into what is hurting his clients and utilizes massage technique along with active stretching to improve movement and relieve pain. Often he won't have me turn on my stomach at all but has me lay on my side while moving my arms and shoulders to massage and stretch simultaneously. It feels like you're getting the best of both worlds, massage to relieve pain and a physical therapy session to pinpoint limitations! We definitely recommend Bill for massage and if you're looking for yoga, his wife does one on one sessions for people with injuries or needing help with flexibility and there are also a few group classes as well. Great find here in the North Bend area.
