Kristyna, of New Age Wellness, is far and away the best massage therapist I've ever experienced, and I've been fortunate to have had other talented practitioners. Her knowledge of the body and physiology is well beyond the high standards required for LMP certification, which makes her more effective than others in finding the source of the problem and addressing it, often using innovative methods that I've not experienced elsewhere. Kristyna is the type of person who wants to be the best at everything she does, and it shows in the way she delivers massage therapy. She keeps working a difficult problem until its solved. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and if your interest is in sports or deep tissue massage, look no further. You will not find a better massage therapist to address your needs.

I was so thankful she was!! I have had different types of massages over the years, some for relaxation, some for muscle pain. To say that Martina is gifted in her craft is such an under-statement. Martina can find and work trouble areas tirelessly, and she uses different styles of massage depending on what is going on with you. I think of it as getting "fixed" when I see her. Her personality and skills are so natural...she truly is amazing! Also, Martina's studio is very calming and comfortable, super clean, and smells amazing. I will always use Martina as my benchmark for how a massage should be and how someone should be treated. Thank you Martina!

Then I had a missed called last night from Massage Center of Bellevue without any voice mails left. I called this morning only to find out that my massage for this afternoon is cancelled again! I brought up that both of my appointments have been cancelled within 24 hours (more same day cancellation) and that the office is not making any efforts to help resolve the issue. The office manager did not express any regret and she was not even apologetic and showed no signs of good customer service. What is the point of making an appointment if they continue to be unreliable like this? This is by far one of the worst customer service I have ever received, especially at a service oriented business.

Due to our careers, we already have chronic back and neck pain and a brilliant masseuse is a critical part of our health maintenance. We found Bill through Yelp and were excited to find someone conveniently located here in North Bend. The business is in a yoga studio that he owns with his wife and it has a nice tranquil atmosphere. The massage room is private and comfortable with low lighting and music. Bill will sit here with you first and review your condition prior to your first massage and he also likes to review a bit at the end as well to discuss how specific stretching and ergonomics may improve how you feel, very helpful! While his massage isn't what we're used to from our conventional masseuse experience, we've found his method to be highly effective! We each see him twice a month and we definitely notice if we skip a session. He doesn't follow the normal massage pattern of doing one side, have you flip, do the other. Bill really gets involved into what is hurting his clients and utilizes massage technique along with active stretching to improve movement and relieve pain. Often he won't have me turn on my stomach at all but has me lay on my side while moving my arms and shoulders to massage and stretch simultaneously. It feels like you're getting the best of both worlds, massage to relieve pain and a physical therapy session to pinpoint limitations! We definitely recommend Bill for massage and if you're looking for yoga, his wife does one on one sessions for people with injuries or needing help with flexibility and there are also a few group classes as well. Great find here in the North Bend area.

There are a lot of positives I could list, but here are the ones that I appreciated the most: The location is in a clean safe and easily accessible building. The parking can sometimes be a little sparse so give yourself a few extra minutes. Her massage space is cozy and beautifully decorated. The music she plays is soothing and not distracting. Now for the massage. Her massage is a mixture of relaxing and therapeutic. She somehow always finds my right areas or spots where the muscles are tense and methodically works through those areas. But the massage is also very relaxing and soothing as well. A nice hybrid. You can book online through her website which is super convenient as well. I would give it 10 stars if I could. You won't be disappointed.

Can ALWAYS get me in last minute This is the first Chinese massage studio that I've been to. I've gone to many traditional massages and one Traditional Thai massage. I would consider this place a mix inbetween the two. *A few things to note* *They ask that you remove your shoes before entering the massage room. *You receive a FULL body massage. Literally head to toe. They also really work your butt muscles. So you have to be comfortable with letting it all hangout if you will. I am personally comfortable with this but I know some are not. My first visit here, I was unprepared for this but after I knew what to expect it's fine. *They are very professional. *They use hot stones and hot towels *One of my personal favorites is the FACE massage. Yes even your face gets massaged, I never knew what I was missing until I experienced this *They give you a discount for paying cash, add a $2 fee to use a card *You are provided a small bottle of water when you leave *If you call to make an appointment sometimes they do not answer and text you back instead, my feeling is that there is a language barrier for some of the staff and texting is easier to communicate. I could be 100% wrong about this but this is my assumption based off experience. The texting part threw me off the first time but it is legit, if it happens to you! I do recommend this place, the massage is always relaxing and my neck and shoulder tension is always gone after. And for the price and location, you just can't pass up this place!

I booked a few days in advance through their website and included a note that I am currently 6 months pregnant and requested to lie on my side while my back was being worked on. Kate greeted me outside with a smile when I was trying to find the location. She was very kind and welcoming. There seemed to be a slight language barrier, so I explained that I was pregnant and wanted to lie on my side so my back could be massaged. When I wasn't sure she understood, I pointed to my belly, and she realized I was pregnant. I tried explaining again with gestures that my back was my main area of concern. She then asked if I had booked a 60-minute massage. I told her I had booked 90 minutes. She seemed surprised and repeated, "90 minutes?" I told her that if 90 minutes wasn't appropriate because I was pregnant, I was okay with changing it to 60 minutes. About 20 minutes into the massage, while she was working on my left arm, I noticed she was using only one hand and seemed distracted. Her phone kept buzzing near my head, and it felt like she may have been texting. A little later, she apologized and stepped out of the room to greet what sounded like a walk-in customer. I heard her say, "Can you wait 10 more minutes?" When she came back, she asked me, "Is 60 minutes okay?" I was confused because we had already discussed that earlier. It made me feel like my appointment was being shortened to accommodate the walk-in customer. I looked at the clock and noticed there were only about 15 minutes left, and my back hadn't been worked on at all. I assumed she was saving it for the end, but unfortunately, she never massaged my back. The one area I specifically requested--both in my online booking notes and in person--was completely skipped. Kate herself was very friendly and smiled every time she spoke with me. I also didn't want to put her in an uncomfortable position by asking again about my back after the walk-in customer had arrived. My biggest suggestion would be to take the time to read the notes customers leave when booking online and tailor the massage accordingly. Also, I don't think it's appropriate to have a phone buzzing or being used during a massage, especially so close to a client's head. Kate was genuinely kind, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. I hope they improve because treating every new customer with the same care as a regular customer is what brings people back.
