We found Bill through Yelp and were excited to find someone conveniently located here in North Bend. The business is in a yoga studio that he owns with his wife and it has a nice tranquil atmosphere. The massage room is private and comfortable with low lighting and music. Bill will sit here with you first and review your condition prior to your first massage and he also likes to review a bit at the end as well to discuss how specific stretching and ergonomics may improve how you feel, very helpful! While his massage isn't what we're used to from our conventional masseuse experience, we've found his method to be highly effective! We each see him twice a month and we definitely notice if we skip a session. He doesn't follow the normal massage pattern of doing one side, have you flip, do the other. Bill really gets involved into what is hurting his clients and utilizes massage technique along with active stretching to improve movement and relieve pain. Often he won't have me turn on my stomach at all but has me lay on my side while moving my arms and shoulders to massage and stretch simultaneously. It feels like you're getting the best of both worlds, massage to relieve pain and a physical therapy session to pinpoint limitations! I went here after getting into a car accident. Drs. It was a very eye-opening experience to see just how traumatic my collision was on my body. From there they took the time to explain how I should deal with my injuries at home (icing times, other exercises and things I could do along the way). They were very careful at first with adjusting me since my body was so sore/damaged. As time went on they increased treatment they would do and gave me advice along the way. They later let me know when I was ready to start physical therapy and gladly provided recommendations to me as well. I was very happy I chose to go here. The husband of mine was an absolute miserable human being this summer dealing with chronic back…read morepain that was refusing to subside. After visiting his physician, having an MRI, and months of unsuccessful physical therapy the only other option offered to him was surgery. I was very nervous about this and wanted him to get a second opinion. Of course it was during the pandemic and he couldn't get in to see another physician. After reading up on his condition, I suggested he at least try a few other options before submitting to surgery. I called this local chiropractic office and was pleased at how easy it was to get him set up with an initial appointment and provide them with our insurance information for them to bill. The husband was gloomy and certain he'd just live like this forever but he went to the appointment with his MRI for Greg to look at. Greg reviewed the MRI and determined that the husband of mine would come in three times a week as well as made some suggestions for mattress toppers, back pillows, and exercises for him to do at home. The husband was willing to try anything recommended and was a model patient. As he slowly improved week by week he also become much more pleasant to be around and I was pretty thrilled with the magic Greg was working. As his flexibility improved and pain decreased so did his recommended visits and he now only comes in once a month or so for maintenance appointments and is practically pain free. He's been so pleased with his treatment, the flexibility of making and changing appointments due to his complicated work schedule, and really enjoyed working with Greg. He always came back from his appointments in a great mood laughing at something him and Greg had been talking about.
