The husband of mine was an absolute miserable human being this summer dealing with chronic back pain that was refusing to subside. After visiting his physician, having an MRI, and months of unsuccessful physical therapy the only other option offered to him was surgery. I was very nervous about this and wanted him to get a second opinion. Of course it was during the pandemic and he couldn't get in to see another physician. After reading up on his condition, I suggested he at least try a few other options before submitting to surgery. I called this local chiropractic office and was pleased at how easy it was to get him set up with an initial appointment and provide them with our insurance information for them to bill. The husband was gloomy and certain he'd just live like this forever but he went to the appointment with his MRI for Greg to look at. Greg reviewed the MRI and determined that the husband of mine would come in three times a week as well as made some suggestions for mattress toppers, back pillows, and exercises for him to do at home. The husband was willing to try anything recommended and was a model patient. As he slowly improved week by week he also become much more pleasant to be around and I was pretty thrilled with the magic Greg was working. As his flexibility improved and pain decreased so did his recommended visits and he now only comes in once a month or so for maintenance appointments and is practically pain free. He's been so pleased with his treatment, the flexibility of making and changing appointments due to his complicated work schedule, and really enjoyed working with Greg. He always came back from his appointments in a great mood laughing at something him and Greg had been talking about. Highly recommended and thanks Greg for taking the cranky man I sent to you and turning him back into the one I married! read more

I had my first appointment at Alpine Chiropractic Center last week and what a delight Dr. Harper was! I was able to get in same day for a new patient appointment and he helped adjust my neck that had been bothering me for a few weeks. I felt like a different human when I walked out! I have lived in North Bend for over 7 years, but hadn't found a nearby chiropractor. I'm a busy nurse and mom of three kiddos. I'm so glad to have found Alpine! read more

I wasn't treated well at this chiropractor, I came some months ago with shoulder pain and I told him what I had, the guy Greg didn't want to touch me before I did an MRI first, he said he was scared and he charged me for did nothing. I went to other chiropractor the next day and they took care of me without hesitation. Did not recommend this practice! read more

I would not recommend this place. I was lied to about my insurance benefits, received massage care here, paid my coinsurance payments. I then received a bill a YEAR later charging me over $600!!! The bill was dated Jan 24,2023, but was sent to collections only two weeks after I received the bill!!! I barely had time to contact them or my insurance to sort things out. Nothing was resolved, and I had to pay collections today for over $600.. The full price for a massage here is $150 a session, absolutely a ripoff. The front desk will lie to you to get you to establish service, then turn around and f$&k you. Do not go here! Not worth the B.S. read more

I highly recommend Alpine Chiropractic Center. I've seen both chiropractors, Dr. Alistair Harper (Tues/Thurs) and Dr. Greg (Mon./Wed./Fri.). They are both fabulous. I've had chronic back issues my whole life and have been able to mitigate the pain and maintain my active lifestyle because I go to Alpine Chiropractic. Both chiropractors are great. I've switched between the two to best accommodate my work schedule and the front office staff is very friendly and helpful with insurance. Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Greg is the second Chiropractor I have seen for chronic back pain. I saw the first for over a year with disappointing mild relief. After only 3 visits I feel great relief! I feel like I am being treated as a whole person and not just a quick 2 minute visit. He is friendly and knowledgeable. He gives me physical therapy stretches to work on outside of the office that offer continued relief. During the visits he uses trigger point work that is finally taking the pain away. As a long distance runner, I was afraid these continued problems would keep me from exercising like I enjoy. Instead, with Dr. Greg's whole person approach I will soon be able to resume life as usual. I am very thankful and highly recommend him. read more

Dr. Greg's care brings needed results: I highly recommend Dr. Greg for his holistic approach & professional yet down to earth manner. He was recommended to me by my physical therapist, who said she went to Greg regularly. After struggling with lingering hip/back issues that were keeping me from my regular exercise, I went to see him as a last resort after trying everything else (Dr/meds/PT). To my surprise it changed everything. I am able to run/hike/bike etc again with no pain. That visit was almost 3 years ago. I have seen him several times since to maintain my alignment during training for half marathons & for other various issues as they have come up, including a very bad sprained ankle. His care is effective and brings results. SO grateful! Thought I'd share in case anyone out there is looking for some hope. read more

I walked into Alpine Chiropractic at a low in my life physically. Dr. Greg listened thoroughly to my history and took my prior experiences and diagnosis into account before treating me. He is a great listener! From the start I have felt that he has had my best interests in mind. Over the last few months I have found immense pain relief and I am extremely grateful for all of his patience and wisdom. read more

Such a great doctor!!! He gave instant relief and was just over all amazing def recommend him

I have seen Dr. Greg since December 2019, and I can say he is the best chiropractor I have been to! For a long time, I would get headaches 2-3 times a week and was experiencing some upper and lower spine pain from my work as a nursing assistant. After a few visits, my headaches went away and I began gaining mobility back in my neck that I didn't even realize I was missing. This relief is something I have not found with other chiropractors. Greg provides personalized treatments and gives recommendations for at-home care with stretches and exercises to promote efficient healing beyond his office. Dr. Greg is incredible and such a welcoming and friendly person, as are the rest of the staff in Alpine Chiropractic. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great chiropractor! read more

Greg is amazing. I have had back issues all of my life and he is the only chiropractor who has really made a difference. He doesn't just do adjustments, he applies pressure to the muscles that are in spasm first, and although I have needed longer treatment after an accident, I can usually just go once or twice and feel so much better! read more

My husband and I have been going to Greg since 2008. I found my way to him after my son was born. I was having horrible headaches and head pains. After a few sessions I was back to normal, and felt great! My husband had lower back, neck and migraines when he visited Greg the first time. He was sold as well after a few sessions. He's so calming and friendly! I've even got my dad going to Greg when he visits me from out of town. read more

Greg is a caring and honest practitioner. I have been going to him on and off for years. After a couple car accidents (not my fault), a head-first fall down cement stairs (definitely my fault) and a fall off a horse (well, if I'd been a better rider I'd have stayed on but that horse was green), my back has it's issues. I'm always amazed when I hear friends talking about how their chiropractors require a certain amount of visits (some even asking for a down payment!). Greg determines how many visits I need based on how I'm doing after treatments, not some plan. He has gone out of his way to help. He does things which might mean less visits, like showing me exercises I can do on my own and working within my budget, but now I wouldn't go to anyone else . read more

Feel so much better after seeing Dr. Greg today for the first time! Look forward to more appointments because he gives me confidence and security that things will improve, even if it is a slow process. Good receptionist/office manager who was flexible and got me a same day appointment. So impressed that I will take our oldest son who needs a lot of help with his posture. Also really happy that Dr. Greg is a local who has been around for almost two decades in the area. read more

I've been going to Greg for my chiropractic care for years, and he is great. His technique works well for me, he does not try to "sell," and he respects that I know what my body needs. I never feel rushed and always leave feeling better than when I arrived. I highly recommend him as a chiropractor. read more

Dr. Pfiffner's skills helped with my chronic headaches immediately (as in minutes). He makes a difference. He nailed the diagnosis and the treatment has been a welcome relief. I've studied neurology and neurophysiology for over 20 years. His explanations of a complex topic are accurate and spot on. His treatment is directed at the source but encompasses the whole including, lifestyle changes and home therapies you can do yourself to stay healthy. His experience and treatments would be a welcome compliment to any person's health issues. read more

Greg Pfiffner is always a delight to deal with. He offers much more than a standard spinal manipulation. The office atmosphere is professional, calm and relaxing. I highly recommend Alpine Chiropractic. read more

Greg is a caring person and a GREAT chiropractor. I hurt my back sevral yrs ago and had been to other practioners in cluding an MD. Greg thought he could help me after around 6 treatments. after his 6 treatments I was doing great! I thought he would want me to keep coming back as do other chiropractors and he said" come if u fell u need to when u have a problem". I have been back several times for other issues and he has helped, He sees me on the street and remembers to ask about what was wrong, amazing with the amount of patients he sees he remembers.
