I would give a negative 1,000 stars if I could. Dr Kremer gave me such a violent neck adjustment that he sent me into shock! I screamed and cried uncontrollably. They didn't care. When I called in a few days later to speak to Dr Shamplain or Dr S (the owner at the time) about this matter, he jokingly said, 'Wow you really like to do it up big don't you!' I replied, "No. I don't". He said, ' I know'. Kremer never apologized because that would have been admitting guilt. They did not reach out, they did not apologize, they do not care. Go elsewhere or prepare to be injured. I would have left this review sooner, but right after this event, they took down their Yelp reviews. humm. So here it is Kremer. You know you deserve this review. I had been a patient for several years. They had notes on file, don't adjust neck. He didn't read the notes. Now I would never let a chiro adjust my neck again. Highlands Chiropractic is incredibly professional, efficient, and well worth the time investment. I know I've always felt aches and pains -- bad posture, bad habits, life.. but I didn't know how out of whack that literally makes my spine over the years. Coming here was the best thing I could gift myself. They take a series of xray, and they show you numbers on your xrays and compare the ideal numbers with your numbers. It puts into perspective why you feel what you do. The doctor spent time explaining things to me and answering my bajillion questions, which I really appreciated. Your spinal column is the highway in which all your major blood vessels travel to and from the heart, its like i-5. When you're out of alignment, your spinal columns don't get full clearance to do its work. It's kind of like when 405 closes all but one lane, we all know how that feels! Anyways when this happens, you can imagine all the diminished efficacy of the rest of your body that heavily depends on this spinal column of yours. If you don't trust me, just come in for an xray, and see what he has to say about where you're out of whack, and then correspond that mentally to where you often feel your aches and pain. Your insurance may already cover chiropractic visits so technically this could all be very low cost or even free! Just call in (they're super nice), and ask them to check your insurance benefits for you. They'll lay out how much is covered, and what you'll expect to pay (if anything). If you decide this is something you'd like to do, these visits after the xrays/diagnosing, are seriously like 5 minutes each. Super satisfying every time you come in. Not happy with the service but ended up paying for an evaluation. I went there as a new patient. The doctor saw me and performed two treatments on other patients while I waited. He seemed unfriendly and treated me like I was in bad shape because I was some type of a-hole. He wouldn't take any X-Rays and asked for previous X-Rays. I requested them to be sent and after 2 weeks I gave up them ever getting back to me for treatment and went elsewhere. I finally received a call on a Monday morning that they had my x-rays (3 weeks later). At this time I found someone else. Note, I had called them and told them I was in excruciating pain before I came but they didn't seem to care. I had called them so many times and they would not work on me until they had these x-rays. They charged me the full payment for a new patient and when I called back they seemed unfriendly so I am glad I never went there. I will not go back and enjoy my new chiropractor. read more

Came in after a car crash cause my neck hasn't been feeling super great. Got the xrays done and the next visit was a consultation a change adjustment . The doctors have explained to me very well about what could be cause what and the adjustment was great felt great after. Then that week got a massage and an adjustment in the same visit super wonderful people and very informative and caring. Today got in as a walk in and they saw me right away it was great knowing I can walk in and get an adjustment . Wonderful staff and always feeling like I'm cared for. read more

Finding a doctor is never easy... but I am so glad I decided to give highlands chiropractic a try!! They are literally my saving grace! The staff is so amazing and friendly, they really care for you and will do whatever it takes to have you feeling better. I called in after I slept funny and they were able to take me in right away and get me adjusted. I woke up the next morning being able to move around again. Both my Wife and I were involved in a car accident where we had a drunk driver hit us from behind. We decided to try Highlands Chiropractic because it was very close to our home. We both treated for 1 year and the experience was amazing. Dr. Kramer, Dr. Shampine and the staff are amazing! Super polite and patient and really know their stuff. We went from feeling bad to super great and can tell you that I really miss going to the appointments now. After about a year after our treatment was done, I was driving alone and was rear ended again! Guess were I came back? For another 6 months I had treatment here and it again was the best choice I made. Got feeling better really fast and enjoyed the whole experience. Now that I am pain free I hope that another accident never brings me back, But I will definitely stop by once in a while for an adjustment, and if you are reading this review and have been in a car accident, remember it will get better and the healing process will be amazing if you come here! This place is great. Went here for treatment after my auto accident and the staff is awesome. Very friendly and efficient. This place is awesome. Not only is it convenient but the doctors are very knowledgeable. I walked in with a knot underneath my left shoulder blade which I had been trying to get rid of for about year and with one properly done adjustment, I havent felt that knot since. Being pain free is heaven and I owe it to Dr. Kramer. Due to a car accident I started seeing Drs. Shampine and Kramer several months ago.They showed me what was wrong with my neck and spine and offered a plan of action to fix it. They are very professional, knowledgeable yet easy going. Angie and Heather are the sweetest. They keep your appts. organized and are ALWAYS so pleasant to chat with. My regular chiropractor was out of town so I called Highlands and got in the same day as my neck was killing me. I saw Dr Shampine who did fix my neck but he also asked about other issues. I mentioned by rotator cuff had been giving me problems for over a year from Pilaties and that I babied it when working out. He had me do all kinds of movements to assess the problem and said " oh your shoulder is slightly out at the top here" He did a couple of pushes, nothing that cracked and I left. I got home and realized I had no pain in my shoulder at all.............but the amazing thing is it has been over 3 weeks and still no pain. I can't believe my regular chiropractor never mentioned my shoulder being out he just did some muscle pressure points but nothing that solved the problem. So I am thrilled, I thought my shoulder would always be a problem and would just get worse with age but now I have new belief in chiropractic care. read more

So far so good! I can say I went to another chiropractic and it was like they put u more on a personal level than help your body! They also only helped a lil in over a month but here at highlands chiropractor, they are making me feel half way better off n on with only 2 adjustments! I have a 23 year old daughter who was in excruciating pain...she was at work when the pain became unbearable, she called me crying. I live in California, but thankfully with the help of the internet I started searching for a chiropractor in Renton. She couldn't call and search, she was working and then had to be in her car driving from Seattle to home in Renton...stuck in bumper to bumper traffic in horrible pain. I looked up some some chiropractors close to her house and started calling, explaining her situation and her pain...well the first two calls told me they would have to set an appointment for the next week!!! What are you kidding she is in terrible pain!!!! So I tried to call another place which just so happened to be Highlands Chiropractic. Dr. Shampine took the time right then to talk to me about her problem and said have her come straight here!!!! Wow, not only did he see her immediately he adjusted her and even came in the next day when they were closed and adjusted again, and told her to call if she was in pain!!! What a gem!! And what a relief for her and for her mom who was all the way in California unable to do anything to help her!!!
