This restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall, across the street from Walmart. I have tried a few things from their menu. I usually order beef pho, with brisket. Let me tell you, their broth for their pho is so flavorful, you don't even need sriracha or hoisin sauce. Their pho truly warms me from the inside, out. Another item I love to order is their bun cha gio. This comes in a bowl with rice noodles, chopped egg roll, peanuts, fish sauce, pickled carrot, daikon, and a few other veggies. It is extremely delicious. It's not greasy or super heavy at all. Their egg rolls are super crunchy, just the way I like them. I also tried the lumpia dogs. They are like hotdogs, wrapped in lumpia wrapper. The restaurant itself is a decent size. The servers are super friendly. I came in at 1:00pm on a Friday and the first thing I noticed was the bussing cart right in front of me when I walked in. They were busy still from the lunch rush that was clear. My server was courteous enough but a little slow on the menu and check. She apologized both times which was okay because I wasn't in a hurry. I ordered a medium Pho Tai and the broth was good however there was a lot of cilantro already in it and the beef was over cooked. It was curled and tough instead of rare when ordered. The broth was also too hot in temperature so maybe that was a factor. The spring rolls had a super thin cut of chicken in it that I did not like. It was a weird brown color like old lunch meat and the flavor overtook the freshness of the other ingredients. Overall, the food was okay, the service was okay, but there were just a few things that were off that will cause me to pick another spot next time. read more

Broken Arrow! You got Banging pho in town! I got a small pho ga(chicken) and Bahn Xeo. Goodnessss the chicken pho was spectacular and I never get chicken pho ever! The broth was the best I've had and I think I may even prefer their chicken pho over their beef pho. These are strange word for a chicken hater like me. It did not need extra seasoning. The Bahn Xeo(kinda like a crispy Vietnamese omelette with shrimp, pork and bean sprouts) was great as always. They give you 3 big "omelettes" with veggies. This time I only got lettuce and cilantro. Other times I got another leafy herb which I love. It's served with a sweet fish sauce. I believe this is the only place you can get Bahn Xeo in the BA/Tulsa area and they do it justice. One More Time. We ate here about five years ago when we first moved to BA. We were not impressed with the food or service and had not returned until today. The lady that took our order back then certainly would not have won any awards for friendly customer service. The restaurant gets a significant number of very positive reviews; so we tried it one more time. My wife had the Bun Thit Nuong. She was very pleased with the meal and rated it as very good. I went with the Bun Bo Hue. It was not at all lacking in complex flavors and had just the right amount of heat. The lemon grass flavor was especially noticeable. Bun Bo Hue ingredients seem to vary greatly from restaurant to restaurant. There was no beef tendon in this soup, but it did have pig blood curd. There was an ample amount of beef, along with a couple of pork sausage patties. It came with bean sprouts, thinly sliced cabbage, a lime wedge, and a small amount of fresh basil. Jalapenos and a little cilantro would have been nice to have also. I thought it was average. The service here has not improved significantly. The same lady (probably the owner) was the only person working the cash register, but she was also the only person that took orders, including the call in orders. We have been in twice and we have not experienced the fast, efficient, friendly, attentive service that others have. read more

I have been eating here for a few years now and absolutely love the food and service. Kim does a great job taking care of you in the front of house while mom and dad cook up some of the best Vietnamese food you have ever tried. The broth in the beef pho had a great beef flavor along with complex herbs and spices. For an entree, the caysin chicken or beef is over the top good and beats any Chinese stir fry around town. read more

My husband took me to this restaurant when we first started dating and it continues to be not only a source of comfort when I'm sick, PHO is absolutely the best when you have , but also is so tasty! The manager/owner, I'm not sure of her exact title, is always willing to help me pronounce words on the menu and explain what it taste like. I'll have to take a picture next time I go in so that you can see how scrumptious everything is. If you are in Broken Arrow and you go to any other PHO restaurant; yeah, you just made the biggest mistake of your life... OK maybe not the biggest, but you'd be missing out. Trang Le is one of our favorite Pho/Vietnamese restaurant in the Tulsa area! We are fortunate that it is only a few miles from where we live. Our favorite items on the menu are the Egg rolls, Spring rolls, Pho combination and my husband likes the Special spicy Bun bo Hue. We often get the Vietnamese coffee as well, it's great but does take some time to make so be patient! I've been looking forward to eating here for some time, and after much anticipation I made the drive to BA for dinner. It's located on the SE corner of 71st and 145th, where the Desi Wok used to be (which was awesome). Earlier this week, I ate at a different Vietnamese restaurant in Tulsa and order the Lemongrass Beef and loved it. It was just small pieces of thinly sliced seasoned beef served with rice and it tasted amazing. Very simple. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and, thinking how awesome the lemongrass beef I had earlier in the week was, I decided to go with the lemongrass chicken. The spring rolls were average. When my main dish arrived, I did a double take. It was small pieces of tempura battered chicken (same used in sweet and sour chicken) in a saucy amalgam of bamboo shoots, onions, water chestnuts, broccoli, red peppers, snow peas and baby corn. I've traveled extensively throughout Asia and eaten at dozens of Vietnamese and I've never seen anything like what I was served here. It looked like something you would find on an American Chinese buffet, and tasted about the same. If there was lemongrass in this dish, it was being overwhelmed by the sweet sauce which tasted like it was ginger and sugar. On top of the terrible food, my server was very unfriendly. Not rude, just....indifferent. I took about four bites out of the dish and she noticed I wasn't eating. Instead of asking if everything was alright, she asked if I wanted a box. Zero chance I would ever go back to this restaurant. There are some great Vietnamese restaurants in Tulsa, so I don't see any reason to waste my time and money at Trang Le. read more
