THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have never had such a terrible experience at a restaurant like I did at this poor excuse of one. This was my first and LAST visit. I ordered a medium side of pho with brisket and a side of steam rice. What I was given was hard cold uncooked noodles and a poor excuse for fried rice. When I called and spoke with the apparent "manager" Kim, she was very rude from the moment I called about my order being wrong. She said to me "next time you need to ask me questions about something you know nothing about." She then told me I had to MIRCROWAVE my noodles.. If I wanted ramen, I would've stayed at home and ate. I then called back to report that my rice was incorrect as well. She ignored my phone call 5 times. When she finally answered, she huffed and puffed like it was my fault. I enjoy pho from various different restaurants in town and have NEVER had the problems I did here. Whenever I finally asked for my money back she threw a fit and demanded I give her my card information. She was mad because she messed my order up and had to actually do her job to fix it. She then told me never to come back to this location. There's so much more I didn't mention, because it's just sad really... I recommend that nobody step order from here if you want good tasting food with a decent customer experience. read more

As an LA transplant new to the area, I was in the mood for some Pho & ratings on Yelp seemed great so I decided to try Trang Le & ordered a hodgepodge of popular items for a Pickup order since it was too far for delivery. Made the 30 minute trek from downtown. I arrived 12 minutes after receiving a text from Door Dash saying your order is reader & as I walked up to the door they locking the door in my face despite my location being on to allow the restaurant to track my location & be notified when I approach. My order order wasn't ready & I was told to sit and wait, I watched them pour excess juices from my order into the trash - more on that in a moment. When my order was ready I mentioned that I drove from downtown they said oh I thought you were a door dash, great feeling to spend $75 on trying a new restaurant & being treated like a non-welcomed deliver driver. I tried the various dish & I was impressed with the freshness of the side vegetables & shrimp with broccoli. They (brocolli/snow peas) were steamed perfectly al dente & the flavor was great even with my request for no sauce. Packaging was perfect, no spills & no oils leaked into the bottom of the bag. The meatball pho & dumplings on the other hand were not good at all. The Pho was so oily, the thick oily broth made it impossible to eat. A little oil is expected but the gross layer of oil in the various soups & extra meats were overwhelming & I threw them away along with the dumplings and pretty much just ate only the side of vegetables. read more

Vietnamese food with great vegetarian options, including several proteins. Their soy chicken and beef are both delicious, as are the vegetable egg rolls. The menu is majority meat based, it's just so nice to go somewhere with more than two vegetarian options (there's a whole section!). For atmosphere, it is a quaint little non-chain Asian restaurant. Very casual and probably a better fit for lunch than dinner if you're dining in. Takeout is very easy. One nice touch, we got egg rolls to go and they cut a hole in the styrofoam container so steam wouldn't build up and the egg rolls would stay crispy. Genius. The service is good, all of the servers are kind and attentive. One of the servers is vegetarian and made several very good recommendations. I'm no expert, but everything seems very authentic. This is a good spot, family owned and the type of great local restaurant that we all should be doing a better job of giving our business to. read more

Went here a couple weeks ago to celebrate a friend's birthday (who is a vegetarian). We chose this particular restaurant because it was new to us and seemed to have a large variety of vegetarian menu options. When we arrived, we were not disappointed! The menu had way more vegetarian options than I have ever seen! And they were delicious! The rest of us also tried the sweet and sour chicken, pho, and fried rice. Best pho place in town. The pho broth is so flavorful. You dont even need anything added to improve the flavor. They are very generous with the garnishes unlike all the other pho places. A friend recommended this place and it is amazing. I ordered chicken soup, deluxe salad, and beef stir fry with fried rice dish that the cashier recommended. I ordered them all togo, not a smart idea with soup...it leaked a little in the car but that was my fault. The portions were a good size, prices reasonable, and flavors were so fresh and unique! I got my usual fare at a vienamese eatery (bun cha gio deluxe) to compare to many others i have had and while it was not my most liked, it was definitely amonst the top 2! I have been eating at Trang Lee for maybe 10 years. I've eaten here almost every week. Excellent food I really like their phó. Their stir-fries are really good with a lot of variety, including vegetarian fare. Several house specials are excellent as well. Went here for lunch with a friend. The food was average, but the service was pitiful! I still put a tip of $1.00 on my statement for a $10.00 lunch ....although the server didn't deserve even that. However, when I paid my credit card, I compared my receipts to the credit card statement. That was when I noticed that someone at the restaurant added more to the tip which of course made the total higher than my receipt. If you go there, pay attention to what 'they' will add to your total amount. Corrupt practices will eventually lead to a restaurant going out of business! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! read more

It's the prerogative of every business owner to operate their business hours, but was very upset to see them 'closed' at 8:10pm with a sign that says 8:30pm. What was more upsetting was to walk in and be dismissed with a 'we're closed, unless doing take out' unfriendly greeting from the staff and owner. I've worked retail and restaurants in the past and we always welcomed our customers. Maybe I'm sore, but I've had a long day too, still greeted each customer with a smile; this was horrible service compared to other places. Bun Cha Gio is scrumptious but after I ordered it I said to myself: "should have ordered a bowl of steamy, brothy Chicken Pho?" Don't get me wrong this was delicious but as I surveyed the full dining room and observed my fellow lunchers they were all eating Pho! It's hard to get out of this go-to staple from this amazing Vietnamese restaurant. I've tried several items on the menu but my favorite is the Chicken Pho. I love extra toppings and when you add bean sprouts, cilantro and the wonderful condiments to the Pho it adds a burst of flavor that's hard to describe.
