When I first entered the restaurant I immediatly got a calm feeling of the atmosphere. The light was dimmed down and there were lighted candles at the tables. The staff was really nice and helpfull - and answered all my questions about the menu with a smile (which often tend to be a lot of questions). The menu was okey, but I think this is a good place to dine if you're a meat lover. We decided to try out the plank steak, and I'm so glad I did because that is the best plank steak I've ever tasted. The meat was perfectly fried, and the berneasauce contained a hint of creme fraise which made it SO much better. We also got butterfried veggies and mashed potatoes - an amazing combo! I don't think E.A.T is one of the cheapest places to eat in Bergen, but they definiatley have great food. Worth a try!

And I love that there's so much to choose from when it comes to sauce and potatoes. You also get to choose the type of steak you want, size and temperature. I think the prices for mains are quite resonable compared to other restaurant chains in Norway, and the fact that you get a yummy steak. Other than that it seems that they're stocking more and more ready-made items. They used to have amazing onion rings, but the ones they serve now are probably the same as you can buy frozen at the grocery store, at a much higher price of course. The dessert cakes are also store bought, the same cakes you can buy at 7-11 at half price. I still love going here because the steaks are great, but we go somewhere else for dessert, and we skip appetizers. Although the restaurant looks a little bit nicer than typical chain restaurants in Norway, most people just wear casual outfits. I'm not saying that's a good thing. I highly recommend booking a table if you're going on a Saturday, as with most other places in Bergen.

The restaurant is styled like an American saloon with cowboy hats and western decor around the dining area and American country music playing in the background. They also have outdoor seating. We tried their tapas plate. I have to admit that my expectations were low, but I was pleasantly surprised. The aioli was quite tasty and sweet and sour and ranch sauces were fine. The onion rings, chicken wings, and fried shrimp were on par with the best I have had, and the other fried foods were decent as well. The grapes were particularly good, and the red ones had a flavor that I had never encountered before. Overall, I had a great experience at Vossevangen Grill & Steakhouse and would recommend their tapas plate.

It was tasty and filing. Another had the steak with same sides that came with the chicken. The steak was decent but not a wow. Two in our party had the Cowboy Burger with fries - which they enjoyed.
