The plukkfisk was quite heavy with this fish/mashed potato mixture and while the fried bacon added some texture it could've used a little more acid for our tastes.

The meatballs were tender, flavorful and the plum compote complimented the rich flavor of the lamb. If you find yourself in Norway and want to taste traditional foods, lutefisk and rakfisk are a couple to try. The lutefisk, cod preserved in lye that has been rehydrated, was delicious though much saltier than I've ever had. The rakfisk which is fermented trout, was tasty, creamy and well complimented by the onion and sour cream. The decor is gorgeous and the dining area was comfortable.
