Lovely dish of mixed olives - beginner dish
Jjc M.

After Cemetary, our large group lunched here, what a surprise - lovely upscale restaurant with very well prepared starters and entrees. We waited a bit to have waiters set up a third long table. We were attentively waited on and the starters kept us happy, then entree arrived -all received happily. My white wine paired deliciously with both the chicken and salmon entrees my husband I shared. A definitely recommendation!

Figs wrapped in bacon

I've been here a bunch of times, but his time was superb! My wine group met up for a Spanish themed meal paired with Spanish wines. Nando and his staff did an amazing job! The service and food were stellar! We started with plates of figs wrapped in bacon, Iberico Jamon, Manchego cheese and Marcona Almonds. Next up was grilled Octopus over a potato hash and paprika aioli. Next was a Saffron Paella with braised chicken and chorizo. The chicken fell off the bone and was so moist and tender, the rice was perfect and chorizo was so savory. Next was the star, a whole roasted suckling pig! The presentation was epic and the pig itself was divine! The skin so crispy, the meat so tender and delicious. Just amazing! Dessert was a chocolate mousse with olive oil sea salted caramel which was light yet loaded with flavor. This is such a wonderful restaurant. I highly recommend it!

John from Westchester We returned to tramonto's last night And as the last times it was a special evening with great food, The service is unmatched, simple excellent service, the food was delicious and eventhough it was packed we weren't rushed it was quite relaxing, so thank you guys And as always remember "Mangia bene, Vivi bene"

Veal Scallopini with chestnuts and mushrooms.

Not worth the long We had to wait over an hour for our main dishes that came out cold. The veal Scallopini with mushrooms and chestnuts came without any chestnuts. Talk about false advertising. The orecchiette was a bit spicy and was pretty good.

Pistachio cannoli

Pretty good place. Decor and ambiance is very nice. The food is quite tasty. Had the penne vodka with shrimp and enjoyed every bit. And for dessert, pistachio cannoli! Good stuff! Servers were pleasant and very attentive.

Here for a company event. From the pre-dinner appetizers, charcuterie board, sit down apps and dinner .. 5 stars across the board ! Excellent service.

Scarpariello Chicken on the Bone. Delicious! Well cooked, well spiced and beautifully presented.

Dinner with friends recently. First time here and we were a little confused, not seeing the front door from the parking lot and being unsure of how to get in. Opened a door that turned out to be a side door and found ourselves inside the restaurant. Seemed the staff was shocked to see us - which added to the confusion. Found out there's also a Happy Hour that runs until 6:00 pm. A good reason to come early for a 6:00 dinner reservation! The dinner itself was good as was the service. Well prepared and beautifully plated dishes.

This is my must stop restaurant when traveling in the NY area. The bartenders are awesome, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is so authentically Italian (though I've never been to Italy).

The restaurant is small and cozy, wait staff was solid. They started with bread and oil which was a nice touch and offered a side soup or salad and both soups (Pasta e Fagioli & Lentil) were delicious. I ordered Eggplant from the pasta menu and received just a baked eggplant. The waiter took this opportunity to explain that it's accidentally under pasta (you would think upon ordering would be the best time to share this info ;). They were kind enough to bring me their other eggplant pasta. Penne, red sauce almost like a vodka sauce but darker and tiny bits of eggplant. My husband ordered rigatoni with meat sauce. He thought his was tasteless and I have to agree. Both dishes were passable but nothing to write home about. Their fish special however looked fantastic! I should probably share that growing up in the 80's near 18 Avenue in Brooklyn, I might be an Italian food snob! I'm not a good cook myself but I think I could have broiled pasta, opened up a jar of carbone and been just as happy with an extra $50 in my pocket, I might also be being harsh because this place gets superior ratings so we were hoping to be impressed and left disappointed.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere of the private room felt warm, elegant, and welcoming -- beautifully set, comfortable, and perfect for a milestone celebration. It had that rare combination of feeling intimate while still giving everyone plenty of space to mingle, laugh, and enjoy the moment. The service was truly exceptional. The staff was attentive, kind, and incredibly professional, anticipating what we needed before we even had to ask. They treated our family with such genuine care that it felt like they were celebrating with us. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which allowed us to relax and focus on honoring my mom. And the food -- absolutely outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was, from the appetizers to the entrées to the desserts. It's rare to host a large gathering where every single person raves about the meal, but Tesoro delivered that and more. This was a milestone birthday for a very special woman, and Tesoro helped make it unforgettable. We are so grateful for the warmth, the professionalism, and the incredible food. I would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly for any celebration or simply a wonderful meal out. They made our family feel cherished, and we will always remember this day.

I joked that meant I could arrive in my birthday suit... my wife quickly corrected me. It was just the two of us tonight. The place has a very cozy atmosphere with both tables and takeout, but the takeout side doesn't take away from the table service at all. I had the Shrimp Francese with lemon and white wine sauce--six very large, juicy shrimp over angel hair pasta. My wife ordered the Eggplant Rollatini. I usually make sure we order different things because she rarely finishes hers, which means I get to try it... or enjoy it the next day. Our Irish waitress was very nice and attentive. Quaint, comfortable, and consistently good--this neighborhood Italian spot has definitely earned a permanent place on our repeat-visit list.
