I passed this place as I pulled into the shopping center going to a different shop. I've mentioned this before, but I absolutely love Vietnamese coffee, so I stopped here on my way *out*of said shopping center... it's a very large Asian mini mall, with lots of different food, drink, they have a massage place, they have a store for shipping packages overseas, a beauty/barber place, a little bit of everything. There is a school right next-door, so definitely be careful because often there are kids in the area. I was there on a Saturday, and it was pretty busy, but I was in and out quick. This place has coffee drinks, Matcha drinks, tea, drinks, and they sell some food items as well. My favorite is the Vietnamese, egg, coffee, but this time, I decided to go for the iced coconut coffee. As I've mentioned before, I absolutely love Vietnamese coffee, because it definitely has that "kick" to it. The coconut milk played so very well in blending into the coffee, the richness and sweetness of the coconut milk, just playing against the coffee perfectly. Just an amazing coffee. A little bit less successful, was a corn, sticky rice, that also came with mung beans. I liked the corn, and the sticky rice was just a little bit sweet, and it was great. The fried onions also gave it a bit of a contrast. I was not a fan of the mung beans. To me, they were just a bit dry. To me, the Dish ate a little bit like a dry stuffing. It also came with a "dust", that to me tasted kind of like peanuts and toffee. The Sweet and Savory of the Dish played very very well together. Tram Cream Coffee has numerous locations in CA, but I haven't been to any of them so I was excited to see this one open so close to home as I'm always looking to find new places where I can caffeinate myself. My first visit, I ordered two drinks, the Matchahaya and Cheese Cream Coffee. I ordered at the kiosk. The Matcha didn't really stand out when I took the first sip, but I ended up really liking it in combination with the cream on the top. The cream made the drink very dessert-like, but it wasn't a gross overly sweet taste; it is very sweet though! I had the similar thoughts when drinking the first sips of my second drink, the Cheese Cream Coffee; I thought it was not the best tasting Vietnamese coffee I've had in the area. However, I saved some of this drink for the following day to not over-caffeinate myself, and I thought it was quite good! They have a good amount of seating at tables and booths. I really enjoyed my drinks and am looking forward trying more off the menu! [I also came by the week after my first visit since I saw they had a BOGO promo (March 17-18 & March 24-25) for their banana drinks: Banafe and Banacha... CAUTION: Love the drinks at Tram and came in today near closing and got a pandan coconut cookie. Went home and was really excited to try it but as I took the first bite this metal wire pierced my gums. Ouch! This would have been really bad if I swallowed this and it got stuck in my throat. We decided to make the trip from Rocklin again as soon as we saw the new Banana series dropped. It wasn't nearly as busy this time. We ordered both the Banafe and the Banacha on the kiosk, found as seat easily and waited for our order. The wait time has definitely improved since the last time. But they keep a steady flow of people in and out of there. Both the Banafe (banana coffee) and the Banacha (Banamna Matcha) were AMAZING! The banana topping is absolutely delicious. I finally had the chance to try Tram Cream Coffee. I think the excitement faded and the wait time is at a normal level. Although I didn't have to wait to order on the kiosk but it did take them at least 15 minutes to make the drinks, despite four workers behind the counter. If you're in the rush, definitely order in advance online. I intended to order food and drinks for my first visit but almost everything was out of stock including Thai Noodle and Popcorn chicken on a Sunday at around 12:30 pm. You would think they should be well stocked on the weekend! I think all they had left was the Rolled Rice paper and Mix Ricepaper. That was disappointing because I was hungry for food. I ordered a small egg coffee that was served in a large tall cup because more than half of the cup was filled with large chuck of ice. The coffee was great and strong like you would expect any Vietnamese coffee. Not sure what was the point of having the option of "less ice" if you're just going to fill up the cup with lots of ice anyway. I also got the Matcha Latte for my son and he liked it but it was on the sweeter side. Check your orders before you go. One of the drink was wrong (or made wrong) and it was a good thing that I had checked. The worker didn't apologize but just said someone will make my drink and will call your name. Of course, they didn't call my name and my drink was just sitting there. They seem unorganized for a business that has been opened for what - 8 months now? I have been driving by this place for the longest time, finally made time to stop in. You can order at the machine or stand in line to order, I choose the machine, super easy to use. I'm so lucky I get to live near such a great coffee spot. Their Vietnamese Coffee is strong. STRONG. Okay. Take caution. I'm telling you now. This is my favorite spot to study since it's clean, spacious, with outlets and WiFi for hanging out. It can get noisy and crowded sometimes but I just bring my noise cancelling headphones. Sometimes, I take off my headphones and just vibe. On top of their coffees, you've got to try their Fruit Teas! I also have yet to try all of their jumbo cookies with unique flavors like Pandan Coconut and Ube. Delicious! I usually come here in the mornings before I leave on trips or when I want to spend long days studying. There's lots of parking and service is super quick. You can order on the tablets if you're feeling antisocial and their reward system is great (put your phone # in to stack up points). Overall Tram is one of my go-to spots and I love it here. I am giving 2 stars only because the drink I ordered was delicious! Other than that I really have nothing too good to say about this place. My friends I am stopped by Tram Cream Coffee because one of our friends been here and recommended this place as he said, the Matcha drink as amazing. We all ordered and I ordered before others and everyone at my table got their drinks except for me. I went to the counter twice and was told my Matchahya would be ready in 5 mins this was over 20 mins after ordering which is unacceptable. The final straw was after almost 30 mins of waiting I asked to be refunded and speak to a manager. The first person I spoke to said they ran out of matcha and then another employee said, they got my order mixed up and forgot... which one is it? Make it make sense. If this were true why not, offer me another drink? We guess what they made the matcha drink and I got refunded. However, the woman with broken English was trying to blame me for their mess up and I had to let her know, I do not work here and do not know what is going on. At the end of the day, I probably will not return due to the extremely terrible customer service. The inside is spacious with plenty of tables and chairs. I've been a couple times now, and service (it's a young guy who helps me) has been quick and polite. Normally you can order at the kiosk, but if you want their special deals, you need to order with the cashier. Drinks are ready within a couple minutes, if it's not too busy. I love the natural light wood and fake greenery. The space is big, clean, and bright. There is patio seating also. I took advantage of their BOGO deals for the new banana drinks (coffee and matcha). The banana is basically banana pudding, so it's thick and creamy with that fake banana flavor. I'm fine with that. I mix it with the iced coffee. It's delicious and coffee part is good. I should ask for less ice, because it's a lot. I usually adjust sweetness to less but the drinks weren't too sweet as is. Some extended family of mine were about to endure a long journey back home after the holidays, so we decided to stop by Tram since this is their go-to spot whenever they're in town. Of course, because it was after the holidays, it was packed and busy. Upon entering, there wasn't a line to order, so we quickly placed our order through the kiosks. There was a bit of a wait for our drinks, but then again, it was the holidays so it was more busy than usual. We snagged a table as another family was leaving and waited about 10-15 minutes for our drinks (we had 6 in total). I loved the Christmas decor they had up. It felt so cozy inside. The only thing is that it was extremely loud in this place. I found myself having to almost yell to talk to my family sitting around the table. Finally got a chance to try this place after seeing it all over social media, and a friend also recommended it for their coffee. It's located in the same plaza as Duc Hoang, just a bit further down. We visited the day after Christmas, and it wasn't busy at all so service was quick. The cafe is clean with a minimalist aesthetic. They offer several specialty drinks, and I decided to try the Creamy Ha Noi. I didn't initially realize the drink would have more ice than coffee, so I mentioned it to one of the staff members. They kindly explained that the ice ratio is higher due to the espresso concentration, which made sense. The coffee definitely did its job, so I'd give it a 5/5. We also tried the Lychee Tea, which was refreshing, and my brother-in-law really enjoyed the Tiramisu Latte. It's a bit confusing upon entering since they have multiple entrances in the front by the ordering stations. They have signs posted to use a certain door but people don't follow it and made their own line. They have 2 order kiosks and one register if you wanted to order with a person. I got a coffee, one fruit teas, and a ube cookie. The coffee was decent. The fruit tea is gigantic. And it was really refreshing and had a lot of real fruit in it. Only complaint is they use a lot of ice. The Ube cookie was okay. The center was a bit too undercooked for my liking. My husband and I came here on a whim after eating dim sum nearby because we had heard that a new Vietnamese coffee place had opened in Sacramento! Now we're originally from the Bay Area, so there are a lot more options to get Vietnamese coffee, so you can imagine we were quite excited to see that Vietnamese coffee shops (not those kind of coffee shops) are opening in the Sacramento area. We ordered the egg coffee only, but we were surprised to see how expensive the drink and food menu was. The drink itself was pretty good, it's definitely the type of Vietnamese coffee where it's better when you let it sit and let the ice melt. Egg custard on top was delicious and the coffee was nice and strong. That being said, the value isn't that great. The cup size was very petite and I kinda wish there was a slightly larger cup that maybe they just don't fill up all the way or something because you have to drink a lot of concentrated coffee before you have space for your ice to melt. The downside: the wait was long. Now I have to admit, we came on like a Saturday late morning early afternoon, and it was their soft opening. Like most places that have soft openings the kitchen/drink making area was chaos lol. Hopefully, now that they've officially opened, they've got their stuff together, but it took us over 30 minutes to get a single drink. That being said, I am not factoring that into my review due to fairness. We didn't really interact with any of the staff so I can't speak there, but they seemed nice enough. The shop itself is really cute and nice and big, it was nice to see a lot of student studying there and groups of friends just sitting and enjoying drinks and having conversation . The drinks took a little time to get so ordering ahead is definitely recommended. Matcha Latte - I was surprised by how good this tasted. The condensed milk they used as sweetener was what made it different from others I've tried, adding a creamier, caramel-like taste to the drink. The matcha was good quality and lightly grassy which I enjoyed as well. Came here on a Saturday for lunch, but so bummed they didn't have their food menu when I came, so ended up having to get food somewhere else. Also, a lot of drinks were not their menu either such as the juices so just got coffee and a tea drink. The line was super long (granted they newly opened when I went so probably people wanna try the hype), but luckily someone in line behind me said they have an online ordering system, so kept my spot while ordering on my phone to make sure it went through, then got out. Glad I did, since inside the line still wrapped around and it was a kiosk ordering system anyways. So my suggestion is to just order online before you come! Otherwise, the wait to just order at the kiosk was already 20-30min. Even after ordering on my phone rather than waiting, it was almost a ~25-30 min wait for my drink. For reference, ordered at 12pm, receipt said it will be ready at 12:17pm but didn't get my drink until 12:27ish. Besides the long wait and no food fiasco, the drinks were pretty good. 1) Egg coffee -super strong/bold coffee taste so make sure you mix it well! -could be a bit sweeter 2) Tiramisu cream latte -I think I liked this better than the egg coffee -strong tiramisu taste 3) Running Dragon - the large is huge vs the large for the coffee -nothing special about this drink -had this at 75% sugar -could not taste the oolong tea base and the foam on top was mediocre -it had dragon fruit bits but could not taste the strawberry that is supposed to have Overall: -based on my 1st experience, I would recommend going for the coffee over the tea drinks, though not the best Vietnamese coffee that I've had but does the job -I may still go back to try their other drinks and once they get their food menu read more

I've been here twice to get the egg coffee because they do not miss. If you are a Vietnamese coffee lover (strong, kind of sweet), then this is the place for you. Five stars for the egg coffee and VIP. Only caveat, I haven't tried other flavors. This place is in the bustling Stockton BLVD plazas. I enjoyed the 2 drinks I've tried so far, and appreciate that they have promos every now and then to help give me a reason to try new drinks! They have 2 ordering tablets, and you can also order from a person. One thing I don't like is that they take a while to make their drinks. On my 1st visit, 1 of my friends waited about 20 minutes for hers, and on my second visit, I waited a while and even had to use my friend's extra drink to participate in our group "Cheers!" photo, after we had chatted for a while, waiting for my drink to be ready. Heard this place is like Phin Smith in OC so I got the large coconut coffee and it was HUGE. Actually the biggest cup I've ever gotten at a coffee shop. A Fat Tuesday is probably the closest in size to the Large Coconut Coffee here. I ordered less sweet and it was perfect. Lightly sweet and you can still taste the coffee. Coconut shreds were fun to chew on. I loved that the coconut stayed slushy for a long time before it melted. Not sure why they put the coffee at the bottom instead of the top because its a lot harder to mix. I drank this over two days 10/10! Stopped by for an ube latte to try to go. Easy to order at kiosk--customizable drinks but does not seem to have nondairy substitutions (at least for the iced ube latte). Prices ~$7 a drink--which was on the pricier end for drinks but reasonable if you plan to sit for a while. Iced Ube Latte was sweet but not overwhelming--felt like a nice dessert coffee drink with whole cream ube foam that tasted like whipped cream. Condensed milk on the bottom which I mixed with a straw. Enjoyed--I think I would get again! Orange Iced Tea was a new addition on their outside posters--had good orange and tea flavors which is great for a hot day. This has been the rage since it opened and it's finally calmed down, so now I am able to try it. I refuse to stand in line for coffee when I can get it else where Knowing I won't be disappointed. Aka, Vinh House Coffee. I will always compare Vietnamese coffee shops to Vinh House Coffee. They never disappoint, are always consistent and most importantly, very strong coffee. My sister and I ordered our coffee for pick up on their website, just in case it was going to be a line that I am not willing to stand in since it is a Saturday late morning. We both ordered the Creamy Ha Noi- I had it with the coffee cream top and she had it with the egg cream top. Both were of a very thick consistency and had the crunchy pebbled ice. There was not a sweetness adjustment to this coffee. I was a little scared due to not being able to adjust my seeetness, because I usually do 25% sweetness. This coffee tastes like a 50%. I was very pleased with the sweetness tasting like 50% when not having a choice to lower the sweetness level. The drinks were each 6.95 for a small size. A little more than other coffee shops. The coffee is strong, but not as strong as Vinh House coffee. I would definitely come here again since it isn't too sweet with this drink. I would say that this is my next go to so far, being my first try. If it stays consistent, I would come here if I am craving a fancy Vietnamese coffee. I usually prefer Vietnamese pho restaurant Vietnamese coffee if not Vinh House. The seating is very spacious inside with a few booths by the window store front. Very clean inside still. There is also an outside patio seating. The coffee shop is on a corner lot street side. There is a pre packaged bakery section I glanced at, I may look at it next time to debate if I want to try anything. Came here for egg coffee and didn't realized the whole place changed. The interior is a bit more modern than what it used to look like and loved the alcove booth seating for more intimacy. I was able to walk up to the kiosk/ipad to place my order which was great and easy. It wasn't busy, so my two drinks were called within 5 minutes. They also have some sweet treats on the side such as cookies and macarons. It's been a while since I had egg coffee, but I feel like it had to melt a little first before I was able to completely mix (shake) everything. I got the large, so I'm not sure of the ratio of ingredients, but it wasn't as good as the one in San Jose. It was good, but not like omg I want another one. Their stuff is a little on the sweet side- I ordered the tiramisu cream latte, less sweet and still pretty sweet. It was very good and my partner finished my drink for the caffeine hehe. Tram Cream Coffee opened and made a splash on social media. I kept seeing people post about it so I had to give them a try. When I pulled in the area had plenty of parking in the parking lot, but I didn't realize they're right next to a school. They had a section of the parking lot roped off and kids were playing. Just make sure you drive slow and watch out for pedestrians. I walked in and the restaurant is beautiful. It's well lit and has plenty of tables for people to enjoy their drinks and food. There was a long line when I arrived and it seemed like there was some confusion with the line since there's a digital kiosk and a regular cash stand where a person takes your order. While I was there we were all in one line waiting to order on whichever came available first. As we waited someone finished with the human taking orders and as the staff member went to prepare some things for the order a new customer walked in, bypassed the line and walked right up to the ordering area. None of us said anything, and I wasn't in a rush. I would suggest adding a real queue area since they seem to be consistently busy. While I was there they only had drinks on the menu. I was so excited I ended up ordering three, the large Saigon coffee ($7.75), a small Coconut Coffee ($6.50) and a small Salted Cream Coffee ($6.50). Once I ordered, I grabbed a spot at one of the tables and waited. After about ten minutes I was on my way with my drinks. I will say the coffee is strong, they recommend you shake it up and allow the ice to melt. The Saigon coffee ended up being to strong for me right away and I actually saved it for the next day- it was perfect then. My favorite out of the three, especially the day of was the Coconut Coffee. Although I typically love coconut coffee. This one had the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness and I would absolutely order it again. Tram is also adding food to the menu. I'm excited to try some dishes from them. This would be a perfect spot to meet up with friends and spend some time catching up over drinks. My advice is not to drink the coffee right away, let the ice melt and flavors mellow. Maybe go for two drinks and do a coffee and non-coffee option. I'm excited for my next visit. read more

Tram is one of my favorite place to get Vietnamese ice coffee. It's super rich and delicious. The wait can be a bit long as they get very busy. It is a super big cafe with plenty of place to seat and outlets so you can come study. It's very lively here. read more

Made a recent trip to tram again after they had their grand opening. The place was still busy but not to the point we had to wait long to place an order through the kiosk. I personally prefer the kiosk as I can browse through the drinks to make my decision. It would be helpful to have a second kiosk when it gets too busy there. This time we tried two new drinks: Green gems - was advised to mix thoroughly but by doing this the matcha foam gets mixed into the phin-filtered coffee resulting in a creamy coffee taste but you can't taste any of the matcha foam in it. Coconut avocado - I liked this one more than the green gems but wished it had more avocado taste to it. Description says there is coconut flakes in it and I could neither taste nor see it in the drink. Overall, I think my favourite drink so far from here is the creamy Ha Noi. read more

Got the egg cacao without boba and we also got the cream coffee. The egg cacao had a nice balance between the cacao and coffee flavor. The coffee jelly that came with it was also quite nice but there was not a lot of it and there also wasn't a whole ton of the egg either. Overall I enjoyed the drink but there was a ton if ice which took forever (30-60min) to melt but once it did it balanced out the rest of the drink well. The cream coffee was in fact creamy and also the coffee flavor was strong. The flavor of the coffee was not super interesting for me. As with the egg cacao, letting the ice melt helped mellow out the strength of the drink. The servers seemed nice and the space is very aesthetic. They also serve food here, I can totally see myself chilling and doing some kind of work here. Otherwise I can't say I'd go out of my way for just the drinks. read more

We ordered the salted cream coffee with no ice, no heavy cream, and less sweet. The coffee was strong and bold, with a generous amount of cream in the cup. The cup has coffee jelly as a topping, but it didn't stand out much. Ordering was easy through Toast, which made the experience smooth and convenient. The shop has lots of table to sit down.
