We went on a Tuesdays for the 25 cent wings night. It was a bit busy as expected and service was very slow. But the food is worth it. Wings were good and so was the salad. It's very loud in there but we were there for the wings. I like bar and pool table. I also like the sports playing on the tv. I ordered "The Hangover" burger. Asked for onions & pickles. I got 2 sliver slices of onion & was charged a dollar. Burger came with mayonnaise which I didn't ask for and don't eat. Server did not ask if everything was ok. Hamburger patty was overcooked & not flavorful. This seems like the type of place where everyone knows everyone else & goes to drink & shoot pool. Was a little nervous going in since I figured this is a local spot, but I was not disappointed. It's definitely a dive bar, but totally worth going if you're in the area. It looks like they have specials almost every night and once we saw 25 cent wings we had to go!!! The wings were phenomenal and very saucy. We tried sweet Thai chili, medium, and honey mustard. The honey mustard was my favorite. The fries weren't anything special, but still tasty. Drinks were good as well and reasonably priced. I had a blueberry whiskey mojito that was on special for $5 and my mom ordered white claws for $4. Our server was very attentive considering how busy and backed up the restaurant was (we went on the 4th of July and not many places were open). Definitely would go back!! read more

I went to meet friends there. Waited 10 minutes for someone to seat me as the sign said. No one acknowledged me so I picked a table. We waited 10 to 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. Than another 15 to 20 to get them. Horrible service, the drink was not made right and the band was too loud!! 10 CENT WINGS? SIGN ME UP! Omg y'all, I was here last thursday for a date and I thought I was dreaming when I saw that they were having a 10 cent wing promotion. I got the plain wings and they were DELICIOUS especially for 10 cents. My date got the jerk rubbed wings and he said they were yum! They weren't greasy but they were so juicy. Great flavor. I love the ambiance too. It was live music night and we heard lots of great bands. The staff were great too. Great selection of beers too! FLY IN SALAD! I have come here for years and nothing but amazing service. I just went to eat my chef salad and found a huge fly mid bite. I showed my waitress and she was understanding of my discust. The manager however only removed the salad from my bill and was arrogant in saying "well it wasn't done on purpose" and refused to do anything more. She came back and offered a free desert or drink. So many children are allowed in when it's supposed to be 21 and over. Have been here many of times and am appalled at recent treatment. Came in at 6:15pm, still waiting by 7:20pm. Watched many families and parties of two who came in after us get seated. When going to question the host, she hid the list of people waiting for table and told us two more were ahead of us. There were only two of us and we had already been waiting nearly an hour. Very upset with recent experiences and will never come again. read more

Great for 10 cent wings on Tuesdays and Thursday. Just don't expect great service and happy people. Waitresses and bar tenders are the most rudest I've come across and never smile. Very discerning when they point at you when your next inline. And when your foods ready they leave it on counter for 10 minutes and leave you to go looking for it. Went here last night for the first time, and I will not ever be back. We were there for the annual Halloween costume contest, and it was obvious that the judges awarded the prizes to their regular customers and friends. While they claimed they wandered the room throughout the night to decide on winners, no one in my group was approached by a member of the staff or even so much as greeted by a bartender. When the prizes were awarded, the winners were called by name, and no one ever bothered to talk to us at all, much less learn our names. Besides that, I posted on their Facebook page when I got home expressing my feelings about how the contest was obviously rigged, and I was immediately attacked by whoever runs their Facebook page. They accused me of being "over the top" when the only thing I did was ask them why they didn't include everyone in the contest, and they immediately got defensive. When you want to run a long-term successful business, of course it is important to keep your regulars happy, but you also probably shouldn't be alienating first timers. We were not made to feel welcome or appreciated in any way, and on top of that, the house band was absolutely terrible. I had always heard that this place was nothing but a crappy dive bar, and those people were certainly not wrong. In an area where there are plenty of places to go for a drink with friends, this one should definitely be avoided. read more

Have never had a bad experience at Trains. Wing nights are always great but very, very busy unless you get there right at the beginning- so definitely expect a decent wait. Totally worth it for the wings. Also enjoy their sides and drinks from the bar. Waitstaff is attentive. Wednesday's for ladies night and free pool is a little slower but still good. They recently changed to no wing night on Tuesday's and now offer Taco Tuesday's which are okay, and have a bunch of new burger specials which are really good. The only reason I gave a 4/5 is because I'm not a fan of losing a wing night for a so-so taco night. But all around it's a fun place to go and always good service and food. read more

Went into trains because we heard our favorite bartender susan was now working weekends at trains. Coming from Portland its a drive but well worth it. The six of us had variety of great appetizers and drinks all were top notch. The best part of our visit was the always amazing service, smiles and laughs that we receive from Susan. Went on a Sunday-bar was a little busy.Took bartender 10 minutes to acknowledge and then another 5 to come get my order.After it slowed down,all she did was swear and complain about some customer who hadn't left a tip.She belittled me for not answering if I wanted a 16 or 20 oz. beer(I'm a bit hard of hearing and didn't hear the question.)Staff was hamming it up with themselves and a couple regulars-didn't pay much attention to the rest of us.You could tell the bartender definitely felt like she was the queen bee of the operation.I know-it's Lebanon-still very unprofessional.Didn't get to try the food as the kitchen closes hours before the bar does.Too bad-nice clean little place. read more

The gas station attached is the only place I've been to be honest, but their breakfast pizza and other breakfast options are AMAZING!!! Gas prices are also reasonable. The food prepared at Trains is the same for the gas station so with that said - give it a go! We moved out of the area before we could explore the nightlife side at the tavern next-door. read more

Went on Tuesday for 10 cents wings. The Train's Gold wings were really good. Overall, good size wings and flavorful. I ordered 15 wings and they came out in about less than 10 mins. I also ordered red velvet cake which was okay. read more

Wings only!! Ordered the fish sandwich, the piece fish hardly covered the bun. Oddly enough, an employee of the restaurant was also eating at the bar. He ordered the same sandwich....fish was nearly 3x as large. Considering that there were only about 10 ppl in the restaurant one would figure that they would want the customers to be happy and stay. They wouldnt have known otherwise because neither of us were going to order alcohol, we just wanted the wings. NOT ALLERGEN FRIENDLY Our family has gone to wing night on Thursdays. From day 1 I was very clear with each staff member I encountered as to the severity of a shellfish allergy. Each time I went I reiterated the seriousness of it. The waitstaff was assured by the cook that the wings/onionrings were not cooked where shellfish was cooked. Several times I began having reactions and would medicate in hopes of preventing an anaphylactic reaction trusting the cook that it could not be from shellfish. I have brought sooo many guests with me and last week a friend with a severe shellfish allergy agreed to come to Trains to eat as I reassured her I was told there is no shellfish fried/cooked etc where the wings/onionrings/french fries and mushrooms etc are fried. Not taking my word for it my guest insisted a waitress make sure. Well! The waitress comes back just as shocked as I was that the cook said that shrimp is not a shellfish !?!?! Really ?!? It was brought to the attention of management and we were told "thats what everybody does and that there are two types of shellfish allergies" Hmmmm okay sooo apparently they know more than the allergists ? I must say I enjoy the waitstaff/karaoke and fortunate that their shrimp sales are not popular, but now understand why I had suffered reactions in the past thinking it was something new....NOT! The risk remains a danger for those who also have serious allergies. No where is it made known even from the kitchen that SHELLFISH -"SHRIMP" is cooked in the common fryolator. This is not a malicious post but a concern for adults and especially children with a shellfish allergy!!! read more

This is a great addition to a small town. Large inside room, reasonably priced drinks, attentive staff behind the bar and servers, and very comfortable pub style business. The only food I have tried is the wings during wing night, and I would say they were very good for "just" being a pub and not a high end restaurant. So it is a Saturday afternoon and my boyfriend and I decide to go to trains for some burgers and beer. We have finished our beers, placed our orders (or so we thought). Now we sit with empty beers, and had to replace our order since it was never put in to the kitchen and they forgot what we ordered originally. Lousy service. My advice, keep driving til you find another tavern. It will be worth the wait no matter the level of hinger you are feeling. read more
