Our first meeting with Amy was so refreshing and needed after the hell of ABA and the "training" they try to do to your kids (if you know you know). She is so knowledgeable and understanding to our concerns and needs and just really was upfront, please visit their website before you go to, I see many complaints on here but seem to be due to lack of parents research, and she really advocates for her clients and getting them all needed in just all aspects of their lives...school and home life. As a parent I am just so grateful to have a place have my back like this one does...they are upfront with all that is going on but never push my child and make them feel less than they are or like they don't matter and they help me with tools to take home and use as well. Like most parents as well I am so grateful for all the reminders that I get not only about upcoming appointments but payments as well...paying ahead of time I know for some is like "WTF" but look at the times we live in people so it is understandable they need to get paid for services rendered...too many ungrateful people out there that have made it this way for most place. All in all LOVE this place and my child is so happy and at home here as well...asks daily when can go back to see as he says "his people".

So it's ok to have me wait several hours but I make them wait 9 min and their next availability is a few weeks from now. Right?! And on top of that, my PCP is just leaving the place. And they didn't tell me - no phone calls. Apparently I got something in the mail that they supposedly sent. Nobody should come here.

We have enjoyed her as a doctor for routine visits - both my son and my daughter just love her - as well as when we had a real emergency and my daughter ended up in the hospital for emergency surgery, as well as the after-care for months afterwards. We don't have trouble making visits - when Dr. Boes' schedule is full, the other very good docs at Pediatric Associates can take the visit, including Drs Mirrop and Hargrave, with whom we've also had great experiences. In addition, the Pediatric Associates of Austin staff is wonderful. They actually remember who you are and are prompt with replies and efficient and smart on the phone! We absolutely LOVE Dr. Fischer…read more She has been my son's pediatrician since the day he was born, and now--four years later--we're still with her. Even after moving to Austin, I continue to make the drive back and forth to San Marcos just so my son can remain in her care. That's how much she means to us. Her presence, her heart, and her dedication are irreplaceable. From the very beginning, Dr. Fischer has made it her mission to care not only for my son but for me as a mother. That kind of care is rare. I'll never forget one visit when my son was still a baby--I was sitting in the room, completely overwhelmed and silently crying. When Dr. Fischer walked in and saw me, she didn't hesitate--she came over, gave me the warmest hug, and comforted me like she had known exactly what I was feeling. It was a moment of kindness I will never forget. She listens--truly listens. She validates my concerns, never makes me feel inadequate, and gives reassurance in the most compassionate way. There's no condescending advice or rushed appointments--just warmth, gentleness, and care. My son gravitates to her, and it's no surprise. She's so loving, patient, and thoughtful. She remembers the little things, the big things--everything. To this day, if she's not available, I will reschedule or skip the appointment altogether. That's how much we value her. And honestly, we plan to continue seeing her until we physically leave the state. No one else compares--she's set the bar so high that I'm not sure we'll ever find another provider quite like her. If she ever left the practice, I'd follow her without hesitation. Dr. Fischer, thank you for being the kind of doctor who doesn't just care for your patients--you love them. You've made a lasting difference in our lives, and we're forever grateful. With heartfelt appreciation, Genesis' Mom

That was me before we switched away from KidTherapy and to another PT. My daughter saw Jenny for PT about 3 times before we switched. The front desk staff are nice, but Jenny started our sessions 5-10 minutes late all 3x (which is significant when the session is only 30 minutes). She would oftentimes be rushing through the front door when we were in the lobby as her first patient for the day. She was a lovely person, but now it angers me to realize how my daughter was not receiving proper guidance & care. During our evaluation she took zero notes; just drew little drawings to try to show me what exercises to do at home. The evaluation at the other office had a full rubric/the PT took notes on her computer, etc. Multiple times Jenny would tell me "You should be a PT!" when I would share my observations of my daughter's gross motor skills. And I kept thinking "I'm only doing this because she's not receiving the guidance that she needs." I would leave appointments feeling more overwhelmed and had more questions than I arrived having. Jenny would frequently ask me to remind her what we did last time or what exercises we were working on; things that should have been recorded by the professional we were paying for the session. Overall, it was not a professional experience and I was right to trust my gut and try a different therapy center, because the difference has been night and day. My daughter has made more progress elsewhere in 1 session than she did in 3 sessions over 1.5 months at KidTherapy.

He ordered an X-ray, which came back with no clear findings. But instead of digging deeper or ordering an MRI, he did nothing else. He sent her off with some pain meds and nothing more. Over 20 years later and she's still living with back pain, wondering how things might have gone differently if her concerns had been taken seriously. Another time, she went in complaining that something felt off in her ear--like a growth in the canal. According to her, he barely looked. No further tests, no real follow-up. Later, a different doctor diagnosed her with a perforated eardrum. She also told me about my mother-in-law who was seeing this doctor. She had a skin condition that was later confirmed as skin cancer which this doctor allegedly missed during earlier visits. These are my wife's experiences and memories, and I'm not claiming to know all the details. But from her perspective, the care she and her family received felt rushed, dismissive, and careless.
