The guy who was there seemed saner right off the bat and possibly I would have had a better experience, especially as this outfit seems to be an oddly run chain. She was tall and thin, and seemed high strung. Her use of vocabulary seemed obsessive compulsive and odd and made no sense. She refused to examine the front of my hip which problem caused me to go in there. It is my upper hip area, from mid abdomen to the top of my hip. She told me that is pelvic floor. She wanted me to distinguish that area from my "lady parts", which is an odd term. I had put marks where the pain is and she wouldn't even look at it. Sore region is closer to my belly button and top of hit than my "lady parts", but, she shamed me about having my pants unbuttoned! She kept demanding that I tell her in terms of her quixotic vocabulary if things are "butt" or "back", and if I put things in her vocabulary it switched on me. So I'd point at a sore area in my upper butt and she kept saying "that's butt". "that's back". "Is that butt or back?" We didn't get anywhere. It was the most freakish medical experience I have ever had in my 70 years of living. I walked out before the visit was done, saying "we're done". The next day my phone is lighting up with text and voice mail messages! Perhaps in her mind we aren't done without her say so!

I called to inquire about an evaluation for my child. The lady with what sounded like an English accent asks if my insurance was with an employer. It was not. Then she asks "is it Marketplace"? Not knowing what marketplace was, I said yes. Then she curtly said that this insurance was not accepted. After the call, I logged into my insurance (which was purchased directly from UnitedHealthcare) and, sure enough, they WERE in network, as I had UHC Choice, and not Marketplace, I call back telling her this information and was referred to the manager, and he was repeating the same information. I told him I misspoke and clarified that I did not have Marketplace insurance and that I purchased the insurance directly from the UHC website, which he claimed this wasn't a thing (YES, this is a thing, because I did it. ). They didn't bother to fully check to see if the office was in network (didn't actually ask for my Member ID information or other details) which is what dozens of offices have done as standard protocol. Eventually the man did say that we can take my insurance, but wouldn't be able to accept my husband's Aetna insurance in 2026 - but that I could still schedule something under my current insurance. ABSOLUTELY NOT! The conversation with reception left a bad taste in my mouth and I have scheduled evaluation services elsewhere. I would recommend in-house office training on how not to escalate insurance issues and on common customer service skills. And if insurance companies are listing your office as in-network when it's not, you need to figure out how to fix that on your end.

Unfortunately, they are not allowing rescheduling because they are pretty booked. So if you do get the opportunity to schedule an appointment, make sure it is an appointment you can follow through with. The staff in the front as well as the speech therapist were very kind, welcoming, and very helpful. They not only made my uncomfortable, but also myself. Thankfully, after my son's evaluation, he does not qualify for speech therapy- he is right on track! While I am very grateful for that I still would recommend footprints and handprints to anybody looking for pediatric therapy!

FAKE ANTIBODY TESTS!!! Both my father and I got an antibody test on the same day, separate times…read more We were both told we did not have any antibodies. (That means we had less than 0.8 antibodies) It al felt a bit sketchy so we go tested the next day at Labcorp (Walgreens). That blood draw revealed that both my father and I had antibodies over 450!! That is almost four times the immunity of a fully vaccinated person. Why would they tell us we had no antibodies?

I pay out of pocket for remote sessions. This is because the system I'm in has dropped me and I am…read moretrying to further recover from surgery for a lower back disc herniation and nerve issues. These guys customize my exercises. For me. They answer all my questions. And give a whole hour, which is unheard of. Previously, I got 25-40 minute sessions for the same price. But with OPAL, I get progressions of the exercises and they deal with older people that thought "put your back into it" was a good thing. It is not. I am now working on upper body stuff that really needs to happen to help make the lower body stuff happier, something my insurance and previous PT wouldn't touch. Well worth the money. I submit for HSA reimbursement and haven't had a problem with that. Oh, and I don't pay sales taxes in my state and with remote sessions, I don't seem to pay them for Texas (assuming they have sales tax).
