She took a very thorough history when I first became a patient and identified a potential genetic issue that no other doctor had thought about. I got the genetic testing done and thankfully I don't have the full gene profile that is considered high risk, but it could have easily gone the other way, so I was very pleased that she deduced that I should be screened.
