I go to the 8:30 am class three times a week. It has been the most brutally amazing experience I've ever had. I don't think it's for everyone, just like running isn't for everyone but you've got to try it out for yourself. All I can say is, that my coach has kept me from hurting myself by training me with proper form and scaling things down to my level of fitness so I can accomplish the workout and reach my goals. I am also encouraged and challenged by all the amazing people who go there. This Crossfit Box is a perfect example of why Crossfit, worldwide, is the best sport to watch and be involved in. I showed up on two different occasions when that said I could try it out. The first time they told me the wrong information. The second time they told me to register on their overhead screen. No one to help, the young athletes clicking together. Not welcoming at all. Look guys, when I was young I ran 6 miles every other day averaging a 6 1/2 minute mile. That was just for fun, not training. You'll be old one day and odds are you'll never reach my level. I'm 65 and nutrition and fitness are my favorite thing. Be inclusive. You see an old person brave enough to enter the CrossFit gates, lean into that. You could really make a difference in someone's life.
