Very clean and comfortable. Tub and sink literally sparkling clean. This review is for room 11. I must admit I am a huge fan of being able to plug everything in so the abundance of charging locations bumps this from 4 stars in its price range to five stars for me. Bed is firm but still comfortable for a side sleeper with a hip replacement. (:-). The pillows are heavy and firm. We require soft goose down pillows so we always bring our own. AC was excellent. WAY Better than "no frills". TONS of CHARGING OUTLETS conveniently located EVERYWHERE Safety Bars in the shower Refrigerator with small FREEZER to recharge blue ice Microwave Coffee maker Shampoo Lotion Hairdryer Iron Ironing board Will definitely stay here again If you find this review useful please vote!

Trails Motel is fit our needs. We wanted a place about 2/3 into our drive to California. We arrived, checked in, a little concerned about parking since we didn't see any empty spots but he clerk said we could park on the other side of the pool. Kinda sketchy since it was right off the sidewalk, but it worked. The room had the essentials and a few perks-microwave and refrigerator, iron and ironing board, desk and chair and an extra pillow ( good since hubby left his at home, lol) The bed was comfortable, the tv had plenty of channels ( direct tv) and the AC worked well. The room was a little stuffy when we arrived so we opened the window for a bit. We could hear road traffic and I couldn't hear neighbors either. We would return and I loved the view that we missed when we arrived at night! Gorgeous mountain peaks of Mt Whitney. Also if you stay here and have time, visit the Film Museum next door

King size bed. Firm, the I like it.

This is a great little Hotel. Very clean and updated with new beds, sink counter tops, and electrical outlets with USB connections. A small-medium frig, microwave, and more. Very nice family that owns and operates the facility. Clean and ready to help you fell comfort. Also very quiet, even though we are right next to Highway 395. Never heard any outside noises.

This is the best keep secret in Lone Pine. Adorable little private owned motel. Clean, quiet, and personable.

One parking spot per room located right out each room's front door. - I'm disgusted by their reuse of the shampoo. See photo. - I wish the restroom had more hooks or counters for you to put your clothes, towels, and whatnot. - For just one night, the price was a bit exorbitant. + However, I'm grateful the attendant was responsive on the phone late evening and this motel had rooms available as I finished my Whitney hike late night. . The room was pretty warm as soon as I walked in, but thankfully the A/C was working. . I prefer the sink not be completely separate from the restroom, but I understand it allows two tenants to accomplish two different tasks simultaneously. . The walls are thin, so you can hear neighbors having conversation by your window. Earplugs can help drown out the noise. I stayed one night: $151.20 total

It's an easy walk to several nice restaurants, including a local pizzeria. The service was kind and customer friendly and the room was clean and quiet. This was perfect for my plan to take some stunning photographs. The Timberline was my base camp for two days and allowed me very central access to my planned (and unplanned) shots. This is a truly beautiful part of the country with so many sights to see. Manzanar, the Bristlecone Pine National Forest, Alabama Hills movie settings, portal to My. Whitney, etc. I had a lovely stay here and highly recommend this comfy, convenient lodging.
