And their commercial has a catchy song. Good luck getting that out of my head now that I said it. Anyhow I needed to get some new wipers for my car as my current wipers were not working as good as they used to. I also needed to get some cleaning supplies to clean the interior of my car. In the past I have usually picked up these supplies at any number of big box stores. Then I thought to myself, there is an O'Reilly close to my office, I should check them out. I stopped in one morning and was greeted as I walked in and asked if I needed any help. I explained that I was looking for some wipers and some cleaning supplies. The gentleman walked out to help me and asked if the wipers were for my Toyota. While I was surprised, I was equally impressed that he recognized the type of car I had when I pulled up. I usually like to get Rain-x wipers. They are more expensive but work much better. The good news is I noticed they had a sale going on for $8.00 off a set of wipers. The bad news is they were out of a number of sizes including the size I needed. Without hesitation this gentleman offered me a different set that he explained were as good if not better than the Rain-x. While I thought for a quick moment he proceeded to tell me he would match the sale price for these other wipers. Sold! That's a great deal! He then showed me their cleaning supplies and what he recommended. This was about as good of an experience as you can have. From my receipt the gentleman that helped me is named Mike. I'll definitely be back to O'Reilly whenever I need anything for my car.

And top 5% cleanliness for gas station restrooms that I have ever been in. (And there are some weeks I may stop/use 10+) I made sure to tell staff that. That was what led me to start a conversation with the staff. That was my first compliment to this location...Second, Gary greeted me with a hello and a smile the first chance he got. Third, Robyn was kind and genuine and I could tell 100% she takes pride in her store and what she does. Fourth, I got to know Christine a bit and her goals for the various locations she oversees. Fifth, Anthony was great as a cashier and super kind and patient and did not make me feel rushed in any way. Anyone needing a quick stop with broad selection, a clean restroom, and a spacious store, you should be sure to visit this Speedway. There are many other places to swing by super close in Eagan if you are shopping, dining out, or just commuting and in the area. Lastly, the discount "shelf" or area is always a wonderful thing to check out!

Sometimes, I stop again in Rochester before heading back. I don't believe that I did on this trip because the winds were gusty and I wanted warmth. I can do this entire day trip on a tank of gas with the right vehicle. With a rented Jeep, I hit Roseville on my way back to the hotel and the low-gas indicator came on. My usual gas station is the BP in Eagan. When you are about to roll in to a gas station with an almost empty tank and realize that the gas station has been demolished, that sinking, sick, empty stomach feeling is never good. Both my empty tank and stomach weren't expecting my go-to gas station to be gone. I can't tell whether it will resurrect itself as a better BP for if it's gone for good. Luckily, I did remember this Speedway roughly a block away. I rolled into that one. I love Speedway as much as BP. Why? As a Canadian, I can use my Canadian credit card at the gas pump and not have to deal with entering a ZIP code. I don't have one. Many gas pumps to cater to American credit cards. This one is Canadian-friendly. Yay! I was pleased to fuel my rental car. What a relief! This gas station was bright at around 8 pm. It was clean at and around the pump. No complains here. This Speedway does have a convenience store. I didn't need to enter the store, but it's good to know that it's there if I need snacks and drinks. I need to do some research on whether Speedway has an app. I know that it has a rewards program. I may need to sign up for it. This gas station is open 24 hours a day. It's comforting and cool. I may have found my new go-to station. (463)

I went to All…read moreImports & Domestic for the first time after going to Honest 1 and having a oil change and have them look where a small leak was happening under my car. After the oil change and before I left, they gave me a list of things that were "wrong" ($5800) with my car. One major one was the valve cover gasket leaking. ($1700+) Leaving Honest 1 with a terrible feeling in my gut, I decided to go to get a different quote. That is where All Imports & Domestic came into play. I called them and talked to Michael and we scheduled for me to come in that day to have them look at the quote I got from Honest 1. I knew I needed new tires and some front end work (Thanks MN roads) and Michael suggested that they clean my entire engine and put dye in the oil to see where the leak(s) and coming from. He sent me a quote for the engine dye, front end work and new tires and on Tuesday of this week, I dropped my car off, hoping they didn't find the problems the Honest 1 told me about. Michael called me in the afternoon to tell me that it wasn't necessary to do the dye test because it is a very minimal leak and that also saw that my car had the wrong size tires on there...so he ordered ones that were right. I picked up my car and had a bill that was a little more then one of the jobs Honest 1 would have done that wasn't needed. This is going to be my forever go to place when I need a oil change or anything else for my current and future cars. Thank you so much Michael for all your help, honesty and being straight forward with me!!!

I have also had neighbors bring there cars here and how I came to use them in the first place and over the last 20 years we have used them on and off. Never had any issue nor have any neighbors. I definitely would recommended this shop as trustworthy, reliable and dependable which I can tell you is not the case with all places you might consider in Eagan. One place I would stay away from and this is getting side tracked but a relatively new chain which has two locations in Eagan and while I wont explicitly name them I'll just say this about them. They are not HONEST and they market themselves as being that along with being women friendly repair shop. I have first hand experience, knew a person that was honest and worked there and left because he could not in good conscience do what they were asking of him. One being constantly up selling folks and trying to get unneeded work done. My experience along with friend who worked there has also been collaborated by neighbors and friends in the community. They have already gone through one owner but the new ones were no different in my opinion. Ok, I digress but try these guys are the complete opposite so out before you try any place claiming to be HONEST try the guys out or any other place for that matter. Don't just take my word but check out Google reviews where you can find 40+ reviews and 4.5 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, thats remarkable for a garage.

Corrosion caused transmission fluid to leak into the radiator. As a result, there was no pressure in the transmission; it could only idle and can't engage into any gear. Firestone said it would be a 4.5 hour job. I never heard from them again. Two MONTHS later, I visited the store to inquire on the status. They said the transmission was burnt, noisy and needed replacement for about $9,000. I then wasted another $100 to tow it elsewhere. During the two months, the transmission was exposed to radiator fluid, water, air and therefore corrosion. The second shop did the job for the most part. They didn't reset the transmission pressure warning and they charged 10qt of ATF fluid, but the dipstick was dry and I had to add 2 quarts. 500 miles later, it drives and shifts like normal except one hard shift from park to drive at 100 miles. If I didn't know any better, I would have been fooled to buy a new car or transmission.

My experience with Car-X has been one of the most unbelievable, frustrating and disappointing…read moreexperience I probably have ever had. I made an appointment to have 4 tires installed, and when i got to the Car-X in Eagan they told me they didnt have me in their system even though I had the confirmation email in my hand. They told me they couldn't get me in that day so I made an appointmeant for a week and a half later since I was leaving town. On the morning of my rescheduled appointment, I called Car-X to make sure everything was still good only to find out that the Eagan store was temporarily closed and no one thought that they should contact their customers. A representative told me that they could get me in at 2:30 in Woodbury, anid I agreed. At 1pm they called me saying that they couldnt get me in anymore and told me could go to Eden Prairie at 3 if I would go to the Eagan store to pick up my tires that I had already purchased. The technician they sent to the Eagan store to unlock the door so I could get my tires was 40 minutes late. After getting my tires and then driving to the Eden Pairie locaion, I arrive to find that the lights are off and the doors locked. I waited another 20 minutes for someone to show up. He apologized and told me he would work on the tires right away. He took my number and told me he would call me when they were done. After 2 hours of walking aimlessly around the mall, I went back to the shop and my car had been ready for 45 minutes and no one had ever called me. At this point I just wanted to be done with Car-X. I received a note from the initial representative apologizing for the multiple errors along with a 10% off coupon for future purchase and a request for a positive google review, as if I would ever come back. Two days later, I come out into the garage to see one of my tires was flat. I removed the tire to check for punctures and there were none. I used soapy water to discover that the valve stem was leaking. I called and made an appointment to have it fixed in Eden Prairie since thats where the service occurred. When I arrived in Eden Prairie, once again the lights were off and the doors were locked in the middle of the day. After calling customer service multiple times, a foreign appointment booking agent set up an appointment in Richfield at 2:30. I decided to call Richfield and they said they were booked, the booker had no idea what she was talking about. He told me that the mechanic that was supposed to be in Eden Prairie had been pulled to the Bloomington location. Once again, no one called to tell me that the location where i had an appointment was closed. Just to be done with the situation, I went to the Bloomington location upon the direction of the Richfield manager. The mechanic from Eden prairie, Steve, was trying to run the front desk as well as being a mechanic. I was told i would get in immediately, and after 45 minutes my car was finally looked at. Upon completion, I was charged for changing out the valve stem. If I knew I was going to be charged I would have gone somewhere closer to Apple Valley where I live and to someone that doesnt screw something up at every turn. Needless to say, I wasted a vacation day from work and a Saturday, drove 112 miles total, all to be disappointed at every turn. I don't hold any of this against Steve the mechanic as he tried to be helpful, but I'm thoroughly disappointed in this business to provide high quality service and prompt communication. I have lost all trust in Car-X and would discourage anyone from giving them their business.
