I trust Neslon's Auto with all my vehicles. They have integrity and treat each vehicle with care as if it were their own. Friendly and knowledgable staff make the experience as sweet as possible. They helped me out in a few emergencies, but have been reliable with regular maintenance as well. I am so happy they have a location near me. You can tell that the owner, Nick, leads his team well. Thanks for the sustained over time awesome service! read more

I brought the truck in for an electrical issue Jerry said it was the alternator spiking quoted me 235.00 for the alt and install total is 635.00 even put the windows up that were stuck down so far so good. Next the night mare: I call him back 15 minutes later and questioned the price as Napa had one for155.00 that matched the truck vin , Jerry said it's already installed. Wow so I went to pick up the vehicle and the bill is now $877.00 holy Batman, I'm selling this vehicle anyway. He shows me the paperwork and tells me that that alternator cost him $411 that's what he had written in. I was taken back and I said no you're going to honor what you quoted me and pay only the 635 and that's it. He freaked out he was going on about him taking food off his table and stealing from him as he marches around the counter in a little Rambo outfit and tries to shame and blame me about the money. I had the credit card run through at 700.00 I threw him a bone just to get out. Wants 900.00 for a new dash I find a rebuild of mine for only 159.00 on the net now he is really pissed. 3-4 hours labor he says wow.I say no way see ya later. Now Jerry calls the cops saying in stealing from him Says many other things to them I will not repeat, And wants me arrested. I'm good because I have the credit card receipt. And I'm out of there. I told him I'll do my own dash and I did took all of 20 minutes to pull the dash and 30 minutes to button it up with the nice rebuilt dash from dash doctors. Looks great. So Jerry tried at least ten times to shame and guilt and blame me while I trying to get out of his shop. Said I wouldn't leave to the cops. Don't ever trust this guy with anything and only pay his quoted price if you go down that road with little Rambo. He wouldn't know how to honor his quote if it hit him in the face Jerry is a cheat, a lier, a little super scum bag that is great at shaming and blaming. I have never met any mechanic this dishonest in my life. Sorry to say all this but I'm actually minimizing what went down. Do not trust Jerry he is a sad little man dressed like Rambo to project his power. Absolutely hold him to his quote. Better yet don't do there go to baker road auto they are fantastic. read more

The Master! The Patriot! The Best Auto Mechanic in Minnesota and possibly the Country! Well really there are lots of awesome auto mechanics everywhere so no disrespect....but I've been going to Jerry for over 20 years and would trust my autos to nobody else. The guy does engines like Random House does their dictionaries! Thorough, definitive but not intimidating. Jerry is a straight shooter - he will tell you what's wrong or what needs to be done or he will tell you when he doesn't know but then get to the bottom of whatever it is that's throwing off the autos' mojo. In the end he does it for an affordable cost. Some times things cost money because they save money! You get what you pay for with Jerry plus the comfort and satisfaction of knowing the job was done by Jerry and staff who treat everyone's wheels as their own. It's a hardcore shop....grease, tools, sweat and organized race car chaos....the guys' been doing this for decades! Maybe you have even seen his mobile American Flag....his own pimped out Chevy Van in local parades and functions around Minnesota. A participant in the community for a long time, Jerry is authentic. Please support this business and trust your auto with Jerry's. Happy autos go far! Motor on! Thank you Jerry! Old fashioned service at a price you can afford! read more

Jerry is the only one I trust with my classic car. He has been accurate with diagnostics, resourceful, with fair & upfront pricing (more like generous) read more

The overly positive reviews are from Jerry's friends, because this place is nowhere near the grand place they make it out to be. The prices are somewhere between overpriced and dealership.. one of the reviews that for some reason "isn't helpful" was actually spot on. You receive Jerry dollars after you pay for the service. The Jerry dollars, called bongo bucks, say on them good for any good or service (it's written next to the picture of Jerry, who wears a feminine French hat). Yet you cannot use them on oil changes, and who knows what else. Avoid this place, it's too bad people in Minnetonka are cursed to have this awful place in town. It's better to drive to Hopkins, it's better to pay the neighborhood boy, it's even better to use Craigslist.. read more

Gives you a 'worst case scenario price' and then once he's done the work, the price has all of a sudden doubled. He did work without speaking with me first. To have a bill to go from 850$ to 1379$? Without calling me to approve it? A student who already told him that i really hope that the price is way lower than the worst case scenario price. HA. It almost doubled. Called me daily from his cell phone and business phone. Even texted me to ask about payment without explaining to me what he did or where that new price came from. I asked for a copy of the invoice via text or email and he told me 'I don't conduct business via text or email', yet wants to text you more than once about getting the invoice paid. read more

I have been taking my vehicles to Jerry for over 30 years. His work is top notch and his work ethic is highly professional. His prices are fair market value. Tonight, Jerry and Cory fit me in and worked on my car after hours. They worked on my car for two hours. Jerry charged me for one. As to the comment by another reviewer that Jerry quotes one price and charges more, that is not the case. My friends, family and I can attest to that. He always writes up a work order, as do all professional auto shops. Jerry fully discusses the work with me and I need to approve and sign the work order before he begins work on my vehicle. If he comes across something more than was expected, I am made aware of it and given the opportunity to approve or decline the additional services & charges. I trust Jerry to do what needs to be done and at a fair market price. And, I know Jerry will take care of my car so I am safe on the roads. read more

I had my fuel pump replaced there in Jan of 2012, and it was a mistake. They couldn't wait 2 days to get paid, I was literally too busy to come in during business hours for 48 hrs once they finished, they called 2-3 times a day begging for a credit card number, and the whole thing seemed strange. Two things happened after I picked up the vehicle, the car overheated constantly (never an issue before bringing it to jerrys) and I got a 10 dollar bongo buck coupon. I thought, "well at least when they advertise the 15 dollar oil change but charge me 28, this 10 dollar bongo buck coupon will make it worth while. So, I call to request an oil change with the use of the bongo bucks, and the guy says, "We don't take those for oil changes, I might as well pay you".... The Jerry's Bongo Buck coupon says good for ANY SERVICE or ANY REPAIR.. So not only are they liars, but they are vindictive enough to mess with my cooling system for not giving my credit card info over the phone... Don't waste your time with these morons read more
