Next the night mare: I call him back 15 minutes later and questioned the price as Napa had one for155.00 that matched the truck vin , Jerry said it's already installed. Wow so I went to pick up the vehicle and the bill is now $877.00 holy Batman, I'm selling this vehicle anyway. He shows me the paperwork and tells me that that alternator cost him $411 that's what he had written in. I was taken back and I said no you're going to honor what you quoted me and pay only the 635 and that's it. He freaked out he was going on about him taking food off his table and stealing from him as he marches around the counter in a little Rambo outfit and tries to shame and blame me about the money. I had the credit card run through at 700.00 I threw him a bone just to get out. Wants 900.00 for a new dash I find a rebuild of mine for only 159.00 on the net now he is really pissed. 3-4 hours labor he says wow.I say no way see ya later. Now Jerry calls the cops saying in stealing from him Says many other things to them I will not repeat, And wants me arrested. I'm good because I have the credit card receipt. And I'm out of there. I told him I'll do my own dash and I did took all of 20 minutes to pull the dash and 30 minutes to button it up with the nice rebuilt dash from dash doctors. Looks great. So Jerry tried at least ten times to shame and guilt and blame me while I trying to get out of his shop. Said I wouldn't leave to the cops. Don't ever trust this guy with anything and only pay his quoted price if you go down that road with little Rambo. He wouldn't know how to honor his quote if it hit him in the face Jerry is a cheat, a lier, a little super scum bag that is great at shaming and blaming. I have never met any mechanic this dishonest in my life. Sorry to say all this but I'm actually minimizing what went down. Do not trust Jerry he is a sad little man dressed like Rambo to project his power. Absolutely hold him to his quote. Better yet don't do there go to baker road auto they are fantastic.

They treat you like family, never talked down to me or patronize me (a big thing for a female who is used to others trying to make me feel badly or take advantage of me). This has been my experience at all their locations. Most recently, I was heading back to Wisconsin for a family wedding. Long story short- I had car issues and Nelson's was the first call I made. They told me to bring it by and looked at it immediately. They were so kind, quick to act, and empathetic--I truly felt seen and valued. They helped me learn what I needed to do, and worked with me to get the job done right. I had to come for a follow up, and they took care of me again with such kindness, efficiency, and care. Cannot recommend enough!
