This gas station is roughly a two-minute drive from the hotel where I was staying last weekend. The challenge that most Canadians have is using a Canadian credit card at an American gas pump. Typically, it doesn't work because you are prompted to enter a zip code. Canadians have postal codes. For a while, I get away with entering the three numbers in my postal code, followed by two zeroes at any American gas pump. It works well. Try it! It beats going into the gas station to prepay for gas and explaining to the person working the counter this entire complication. I had no problem filling up my car with gas. There's a convenience store if you need to get munchies or something. It's pretty clean. There were a handful of pumps being used by other customers. Try to use the same credit card again and it gets rejected. With a motorhome and a 100 gallon tank, I would have needed four different credit cards to fill up at this place. Last month, after having grabbed drinks from NCN, I needed to fill my rental car's gas tank up before doing a day trip down to my old stomping grounds in Rochester, and visiting my late friend in northern Iowa. I decided to check out this gas station. I had no problem entering this gas station and finding an available gas pump. I scanned my rewards barcode on my phone. I then inserted my credit card to pay at the pump before fuelling. It was doing steady business while I was there. My fuelling went well. My rental car had one of those capless fuel systems. Once you're done fuelling, you need to wait at least five seconds before you remove the fuel nozzle. This gas station was clean. The only downside was getting in my car and hearing some man at the gas station say something over the speaker system. I'd like to think that my hearing is pretty good, but I felt like a hard-of-hearing senior who couldn't comprehend what was going on around me. The coffee choices along a wall of drink choices sports the newest gen of fresh coffee machines that grind beans and proceed to drip in your cup. I saw about the largest selection of gum anywhere as well as fresh baked products, actually there is more quick grab and go food than anything else. No clutter and plenty of space move about.

I was soon called up and spoke with Maria and RPH Paul to discuss my identity etc. Several minutes later and to my right the loud person explained to Shelly you should have received a FAX from California for prescriptions, well at the time the store had not received the the FAX. The customer was louder and more disgruntled. Like I said the customer was loud so I practically everyone in the store could hear. RPH Paul was to my left and said unknowingly to the customer to my right sir please lower your voice or I will call the police. I'M A GIRL replied the customer! Paul's view point was obstructed by employees and computer screens. The unsatisfied customer was still irate and wanting prescriptions and again slammed the palm of the hand on the counter top saying loudly, I'M A GIRL! I guess from Paul's point of view, the customer was wearing a mask and had an obstructed point of view. The person soon left after Paul said I will call the police. Paul, Shelly, Maria, LeAnn work diligently and hard but are always polite, professional, and experts in their fields.

However, I truly hate the customer service experience from their pharmacy. I get so frustrated trying to pick up medications for my parents. It's been so consistently bad, that I had them move all of their prescriptions to Hy-Vee which is farther from our house. I would not recommend buying fresh florals, make up or vitamins here unless they're on sale, they're usually overpriced. We also get our vaccination shots here sometimes, I find it very convenient and you can easily schedule online.

I like the former because I can pay for gas through the BP app without whipping out my credit card. Sadly, I couldn't log in to my BP account in late September. The site was being annoying and wasn't authenticating properly. Instead, I hit this Speedway. Speedway also has an app, but you can't pay for gas on it. You can scan your app's QR code for your rewards at the pump. On the rare occasion that the QR code doesn't scan properly, you can submit your receipt on the app and it works well. I've been to this gas station a few times now. I never have an issue finding an available gas station. Filling up has always been smooth. It's also impeccably clean. This Speedway has a convenience store. I have yet to set foot in it. I was here a couple of weeks ago. It was unseasonably hot. Seeing firewood in front of me felt weird. It's perfect if you need logs for your fireplace to get some here. The location is decent. It's off Cedar Avenue, which is convenient.
