Sign on door, hours aren't 24 hours.
Chris P.

Hours listed as 24 hours, a fresh off the printer sign on the door says closed from 10pm to 6am. I bought a car wash club membership, the carwash is closed more than it's open.

There are two Speedway gas stations within close proximity from each other in Eagan. This one is…read morethe second closest one from the hotel that I stay at. It's across from North Country Nutrition (NCN) and Caribou Coffee that I frequent regularly. Last month, after having grabbed drinks from NCN, I needed to fill my rental car's gas tank up before doing a day trip down to my old stomping grounds in Rochester, and visiting my late friend in northern Iowa. I decided to check out this gas station. I had no problem entering this gas station and finding an available gas pump. I scanned my rewards barcode on my phone. I then inserted my credit card to pay at the pump before fuelling. It was doing steady business while I was there. My fuelling went well. My rental car had one of those capless fuel systems. Once you're done fuelling, you need to wait at least five seconds before you remove the fuel nozzle. This gas station was clean. The only downside was getting in my car and hearing some man at the gas station say something over the speaker system. I'd like to think that my hearing is pretty good, but I felt like a hard-of-hearing senior who couldn't comprehend what was going on around me. Think Lucy from Peanuts daydreaming in class and not hearing what her teacher was saying. Wah wah woh wah wah! Other than the weird speaker system experience, It's a decent gas station when you need to fuel your car. There is a convenience store attached to it. I didn't drop by. Maybe I will next time I'm in the area. (435)

When I stay in Bloomington, there are two gas stations that I frequent for my fuelling needs:…read more- BP - Speedway Both gas stations are close to each other. I like the former because I can pay for gas through the BP app without whipping out my credit card. Sadly, I couldn't log in to my BP account in late September. The site was being annoying and wasn't authenticating properly. Instead, I hit this Speedway. Speedway also has an app, but you can't pay for gas on it. You can scan your app's QR code for your rewards at the pump. On the rare occasion that the QR code doesn't scan properly, you can submit your receipt on the app and it works well. I've been to this gas station a few times now. I never have an issue finding an available gas station. Filling up has always been smooth. It's also impeccably clean. This Speedway has a convenience store. I have yet to set foot in it. I was here a couple of weeks ago. It was unseasonably hot. Seeing firewood in front of me felt weird. It's perfect if you need logs for your fireplace to get some here. The location is decent. It's off Cedar Avenue, which is convenient. It's also close to where I normally stay in Bloomington, near Mall of America. It's a good gas station. (410)

When I got back from my road trip to Des Moines, I needed to refuel my rental car. I did a quick search and found this gas station. It was easy to find and pull into. I used my BP app to unlock the gas pump and pay for my gas purchase. I love this app, especially when it was 2°C outside with wind gusts. Instead of fumbling for my credit card and standing outside the gas pump longer to get my card approved to start filling up my gas tank, I did everything in my car. When the gas pump was unlocked, I simply fuelled my car, took my receipt, and headed into my car to warm up. This gas station is unique. I have never seen any BP convenience store in the Twin Cities sell vapes, tackle, bait, and hookah flavours. It's truly unique. I didn't need any of them, but it's good to know where to go if I do. The fishing supplies make sense, as this BP is near Long Meadow Lake. I'm guessing that while folks fish and wait for a bite on their line, they vape and smoke, with fancier folks doing the hookah thing. I dropped by this gas station before I returned my car rental at the airport. I also had another seamless transaction, topping off my gas tank and using the app to accomplish this task. The gas station has a car wash. It's a pretty cool BP and likely the most eclectic one that I have ever been to. (396)

There is some street parking as well as some paid ramps. I came in on a Saturday morning around 10AM. By then, it was busy, but I was able to still find a seat. The staff were kind and I think as pleased with the number of drink options as well as pastries - gluten free, too! I enjoyed a seasonal lemon bar latte (yum!) and a gluten free banana chocolate chip muffin. I will likely be back. The coffee is great, the parking situation is just a bit weird.

I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.
