I have a love-hate relationship with my local Walgreens. I love the convenience of being able to get products VERY quickly. I also love their one-hour photo service - best in the business. However, I truly hate the customer service experience from their pharmacy. I get so frustrated trying to pick up medications for my parents. It's been so consistently bad, that I had them move all of their prescriptions to Hy-Vee which is farther from our house. I would not recommend buying fresh florals, make up or vitamins here unless they're on sale, they're usually overpriced. We also get our vaccination shots here sometimes, I find it very convenient and you can easily schedule online. read more

The pharmacy is the absolute worst. First some of the staff are so rude. I had one of them belittled me because I didn't know the exact name of my medication and had to argue with them just to get my medication. Then they never ever have my medication ready on time. Which is awful because I have missed days and a week due to their negligence. I am looking to what laws that they are supposed to abide by because this is so ridiculous. They are putting many lives at risk. I hope they fix it or get shut down. Hate that this is the closest Walgreens to me. Their customer service also sucks read more

Like most retail drug stores the Town Center Walgreens is a dirty, unpleasant place to be. The pharmacy has not gotten a prescription correct on the first try for me in years. The robot that sends messages does not send updates after notifying that my prescriptions are out of stock. They point fingers at the MD's even though I bring in paper prescriptions in person to be sure everything is correct. Switching to Amazon soon! read more

Wish zero stars was a choice. This place is a disaster. Never has medications in stock. Pharmacy is closed a LOT due to not having a pharmacist available. In fact just now I got a message they are closed again due to lack of help. I have moved all my prescriptions to Walmart. You can not depend on Walgreens Town Center for anything. I needed a Walgreens. I did a search and found this one roughly three minutes away from the hotel. On Sunday morning, I decided to drop by this store before heading down to Rochester. There was a lot of parking. I pulled into a spot that was practically steps away from the main door and walked in. This store is huge and bright. Cute plushies first greeted me. Why are they so adorable? I contemplated buying the huge taco. At this rate, I need a room dedicated to my plushies. I decided to take a photo and admire from afar. They were all on sale. Evil! I needed to get potassium. Rather than eating a hand (yep, it means a bunch) of bananas to get my potassium levels at par, I went with a bottle of potassium supplements that were on sale. I've never seen them in 250 tablets before. I normally see them in 90-tablet bottles. I also needed some pop. There were soft drink specials happening. I got two bottles of diet Dr Pepper. At the checkout, while waiting for a customer ahead of me, I saw KitKat duos. I've never seen mint and dark chocolate together in a KitKat before. I had to get it. The cashier was cheerful. She also apologized for an odd noise that she had made. To me, it sounded like a burp. She said that she was losing her voice. That wasn't a good sign. I entered my phone number at the payment kiosk to collect points. I then paid using a credit card. I was done quickly. The woman put my items in a plastic bag. I thanked her and left. I took some potassium in the car and then drove down to Rochester. I was good. Yay, electrolytes! Perhaps this pharmacy was horrible a few years ago. I didn't have any issues here. I'd like to come back and check more of the store out when I'm not meeting a friend for lunch. (45) read more

This has got to be the WORST walgreens ever in history. ALWAYS backed up, im talking days backed up. I literally put a prescription in last week and its still not ready this week. They are always closed in the drive thru so dont waste your time, they close early constantly. Im talking HOURS EARLY, not minutes. Idk if they are understaffed but yeah, go to another pharmacy honestly. They have more than enough workers, its just plain laziness at this point. & i know they are unknowledgeable because i asked what is the nearest 24/7 walgreens(even though i knew it was the one on donegal drive) and they said "i dont know google it" Like really? Walgreens just decided to cave to anti-abortion activists and won't sell abortion pills in states where the state attorney general doesn't want them sold, even though the pills are legal under federal law and FDA-approved. In my view this is weak and doesn't support women's health. I'll be taking my prescriptions to pharmacies like CVS and Costco that support women's health. read more

Went to pick up a prescription and they told me wait 30 min for something they had in stock so I said I'll go home and come back so I came back 4 hours later and they told me to wait another 20 min witch ended up being 45 they are the most unorganized people you would ever meet 100% everyone in the pharmacy is completely incompetent at the jobs they have been assigned. read more

I would not recommend sending prescriptions to this location. Waiting days to pick up in-stock prescriptions. Very disorganized pharmacy with bags of medication's laying everywhere. The girl at the counter was friendly about it but everybody had to wait. I spoke to another gentleman in line and he has been waiting a full week to pick up a prescription. read more

Had an appointment for 6pm to get a flu shot. It is now 7:23 pm and I'm still waiting. This is completely unacceptable.

Two days didn't even start my filling prescription, I'll find a new pharmacy I suggest you do as well .

Went to pick up an inhaler at 8:58 and saw an employee leaving, she rudely said they closed at 9. I said it shows 10 on line is that new, she had an attitude and was snarky. Said they closed at 9 bye. While driving to another store the pharmacy still had a line and was being helped. Seemed like she was just the only the that didn't want to work. I understand places are short staffed but dang at least communicating that in a respectful manner would be helpful. Smh read more

The cashier was rude & mean. so i asked if they had Pepsi products because i wanted a to switch my sprite & he said he can't hold my stuff. it was like 2 feet away & the aisle was super congested is why i couldn't find it before i got up there. Then my item was suppose to be $10, but it was in the wrong place & he was going to say the same thing when the item i needed was just feet away. he got one for me i think because of how important it was, but it makes me nervous because i don't know if it was put back or dropped. the aisle is really congested & you can't even get around people & they're 2 feet behind you, no ones practicing social distancing. ridiculous check out rude cashiers its not like i didn't know exactly where my items were & it was the stores fault the item was in the wrong price spot & i couldn't see the Pepsi products because the aisle is so congested read more

I scheduled a covid booster. The wait was over an hour and a half... before I left without my shot. The pharmacy staff did not notify me of the wait and when I asked, they were very rude. One employee stood in the pharmacy flossing and picking his teeth (no mask) while never helping a customer. Yuck read more

This Walgreens is nice but when my 4 year old needed to use the bathroom, that is where we had a problem. We went in to use the bathroom and it was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom was so dirty we couldn't even go in. It was completely disgusting. I cannot believe during a pandemic they would not try to keep the bathroom clean. There was an employee in there and I think even she was embarrassed about it. So gross! We had to go to a gas station to use the bathroom. Because of that, you have lost my business. read more

For prescriptions, they are 5 stars easily! Always fast, informative and very friendly. Checkout up front can be irritating. I've been there several times with over 6 of us in line and only one register open. Took over 10 minutes one day to get checked out. They are very friendly though, and always have shelves well stocked. read more

Went in three wks ago, looking for a soft toothbrush. (It's a long story.) The guy who helped me--I think the store manager, Geoff?--was super-helpful. A+. Very nice store, very helpful staff ... and they had a toothbrush I haven't found anywhere else! A soft one. Softer than those available from Oral B and Colgate. Check it out. read more

It took four trips to this pharmacy to get a simple, pre-packaged prescription. The first was not the pharmacy's fault, since the physician did not send the prescription in a timely manner. Second time the doctor initially denied the scrip and the pharmacy did not inform us they had to contact the doctor to get it approved again. Third trip the pharmacy was inexplicably closed in the middle of the day. Finally on the 4th trip, the pharmacy told us they had re-shelved the medicine since it had not been picked up! Worse, on that fourth time around, it took over 40 minutes to re-fill. Very slow and inefficient. Edit: Five minutes after posting this review, my daughter tells me that the pharmacy refilled the wrong prescription! After we told them which one we were picking up. Unbelievable. read more

The pharmacy will screw up pretty much anything. I had one prescription they were supposed to mail and they didn't. The bag was even marked with "delivery" but was placed in the pickup bin at the store instead where it sat for days. Had another prescription which they told me was a class 4 drug so they could not mail it. The next refill they mailed it. Every time I need a prescription I never know if they will actually mail it or not. The people working there appear overworked. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Which is too bad because it's so close to home. They are insanely slow, always out of everything (prescriptions and over the counter), and they don't begin to fill your prescription until you've arrived at the store or drive-thru (even though they have received the prescription from the doctor and have been notified we are coming to pick it up). We don't have a lot of prescriptions, but they always manage to take three times as long as any other pharmacy we've used. Also, they never follow through with doctors or Express Scripts. Terrible service and their phone systems do not work. Once you spend about 15 minutes trying to get to a person without pressing "0", you are on hold because their staff is very busy for another 10-15 mins. Terrible. read more

I was told today by the Pharmacy Tech (3rd visit) that she did not have time to process my order at this time. I would give this location a zero if it was an option. Don't go here for photos. I have two orders after two weeks+ and still no update, no call from them. I called them two times to get status and like other review, I waited over 15 mins on the phone and each time I asked for photo department I got put on hold again, repeat that 3 times. Finally I gave up and ask for management, and some guy just pickup and said 'hello' with a dissatisfying tone and I asked if he is management and he said no. Repeat that scenario 3 times after. Finally have someone called Jermiah said he is the assistant manager, I gave my name to look for photo and said he need photo order. The next day I called back with photo order and another assistant manager said they only look up by last name and not photo number. !!??? Wow. Just avoid trouble and don't go to this Walgreen. Store is good. Pharmacy is the worst Walgreens ever. About 1/2 the time we go there to fulfill a prescription AND work with one of the foreign pharmacists/employees behind the pharmacy counter, we can hardly understand what they are saying and/or they misunderstand what we are saying and they do the opposite of what we want to do and/or they ignore what we say and do just whatever they want. We cringe every time we go there and have to deal with one of these foreign pharmacists. They really need to improve their English! We're both very well traveled and I speak multiple languages, so I'm really shocked that any company would employee medical workers with such poor English skills. read more

This Walgreen's is no better that the Walgreen's at Lexington and Diffley. The pharmacist should review her MN State Laws. My husband and I went to pick up a box of syringes as he is insulin (Type1) dependent diabetic. He gets most of his Rx's thru mail order but he ran out of needles. So we stopped in to pick up a box as we do every so often only to have the pharmacist tell us that he needs a prescription from his Dr for the needles and that this is a MN state law. We gave her his name and she pulled his account up and even saw that he had a current prescription on file for insulin. She was still insistent that he had to have a prescription, however she would sell him a pkg of 10 for ($5.00) but would not sell him a box of 100 ($30.00). Tell me where is the logic in that? She was claiming that it is cut down on needle reusage. Again I scratch my head. By selling him 10 and not a box he would have to reuse if he ran out. She was trying to say it cuts down on dirty needles getting spread around. Now my husband is a business professional and looks like a respected business man. His file at Walgreen's proves that he is diabetic, so why hassle the people who really are dealing with a disease, it is clear he is not a drug user. After we left we drove to the Apple Valley Walgreen's walked in a got a box no questions asked. So why the inconsistency. When my husband got home he immediately went online to research MN state law and the distribution of needles. We found that not only do you NOT need a prescription for them and that the reason is so that people who do use needles for drug use can get them easier therefore cutting down on the need to reuse a needle and hopefully cutting down on the spread of HIV.
