On a Wednesday, I was informed me via text "Trailer will be done tomorrow !!", but when I arrived and took possession of it a couple days later, it had serious safety and quality issues: * One of the 2x8 deck boards was missing. (Not ideal, but I can install one) *Six out of ten lug nuts--three on each wheel--had not been installed. Fortunately, an older gentleman on-site noticed this just as I was driving away and stopped me. * The lone 2x4 decking board had never been attached, and came off while I was driving on the freeway between Jantzen Beach OR, and Chehalis WA. That's something that could have killed someone. I know it was never attached because there are no holes in the frame where the board would have been attached. These problems make it clear that the trailer was not properly inspected before being released. It is unacceptable to provide equipment in this condition, especially when it puts people's safety at serious risk. The structure of the trailer appears to be acceptable. read more

We ordered a trailer, gave a down payment, and we were given a delivery date. Well after the delivery date we were given we checked in to see what was happening due to lack of communication. They said another month. A. I think later I checked in they said a month "would you like your refund back?" This was likely due to the rise in cost of this trailer since I had ordered it. I said no, I will wait the month. Almost a year later after repeating this process a few times I gave up. Unprofessional and dishonest. They answer the phone as though it is a residence sometimes and cannot find your order. Stay away please. Learned our lesson. read more

Don't buy these trailers. I had a 6x12 dump trailer built there and it's very solid. However, the tires were very cheap and wore out right away, the paint job is not clear coated and rusts immediately, and the wiring is hacked in. All the connectors are NOT heat shrink and fail, the main wire cable was run between the frame and axle and got crushed when I loaded the trailer with gravel, the lights were cheap and had to be replaced, the rear light wires are run through a jagged torch hole in the frame, with no protection. Had to replace those. The wiring is always messed up on this thing. I paid extra for a spare tire mount on the tongue. They welded a single bolt to the tongue, so if you step on the tire, it moves and I'm afraid it will break off. The tarp I bought was too small and had to be stretched to go over the frame. The corner eventually tore out. Go with a Big Tex or comparable. read more

i ordered a tilt trailer to haul a pick up on and discussed the size and weight of the dually with Eric and waited a month for trailer and after picking it up went t o load dually on it and it would not fit. Called Eric and he said that he would not do anything and was very rude ,would never buy or recommend trail dust trailers to anyone, read more

Multiple ads on facebook marketplace for trailers that were listed as available and for sale, Call them and they have no trailers available, 100 percent bait and switch tactic to get you to order a super expensive trailer and wait several months. Dont advertise something you dont have in stock and won't have in stock for several months. read more

Had the same situation as Mark P! Put a deposit down on a trailer in July 2021 and was told at the time that my deposit would lock in the price. Was even provided with a Bill of Sale. They did tell me that it would be between 3-5 months before we'd get it so I was happy when I saw their ads later showing the price of gone up that my deposit locked me in at the lower price. THEY LIED! After waiting for five months they finally told us the trailer was ready but that we would have to pay the higher price to actually take it. Even though we tried to fight with them that it was not stated anywhere on my bill of sale that the price could change later they, would not honor that original price. Got my deposit back and will NEVER go to these people again! read more

I brought it in from repair and it took two weeks for them to tell me what it'll cost. Then the price went up. Then after days of silence they tell me it'll take two weeks for repair. We bought a 10K dump trailer from these guys a little over a year ago. We use it for our remodeling business. We have had nothing but problems. Their workmanship is terrible, the wiring was a joke and even the safety brace was improperly installed. After 3 or 4 trips back to Trail Dust to have them correct their defects, they try to blame it on everything else instead of taking responsibility and turning out a decent product. Even the repairs they did are absolutely budget, hack job, unskilled, and in my opinion unsafe. STAY AWAY from these guys if you are looking for a reliable trailer you can count on to get work done. read more

Ordered a trailer back in May 2021. Understood there are supply chain issues but the staff there NEVER communicated that to me. I always had to initiate the call. After 5+ months I called again. This time they told me they still didn't know how long before my trailer would be ready PLUS they said the price was now like $1000 more than when I ordered. Awful place. Heard they closed up shop for good. My friend bought a dump trailer from them and the hydraulics leaked within a couple of months. Then he had other problems with it and took it to a place in Portland because the one in Boring shut down. The one in Portland wouldn't honor the warranty! Less than 6 months old! Horrible quality. Bought a 10K flatbed trailer, stock item. When I arrived to get it there was no backup battery installed, the fender was loose and the welds sucked, dropped it off for repairs and returned a week later, as discussed and nothing had been done. Waited another week and arrived to nothing done. I blew a gasket and a guy stayed 2 hours late and fixed it. I live 1.5 hours away, so this was really frustrating. Yesterday I was sliding a heavy welding table down the ramps and the angle iron that holds the ramp on the rear lip broke off! Good thing a car wasn't being loaded! Makes me really worry about the frame welds and undercarriage. Best I can say....you get what you pay for. Message me if you want a 7x18 10K flatbed trailer for cheap! read more

This is a place to stay away from. The owner has built a brew pub on the same property. Apparently the brew pub is more profitable because he takes his technicians off of trailer jobs to do other work. They are already under staffed. Profits are way more important to the owner than customer service. I'm still waiting on my trailer repair on a trailer that I bought from them...1 week over due and counting...so I can't review quality of work yet. I just know that I am NOT their priority. Bill at Trail Dust Trailers is the man!!! I was searching around everywhere (and i do mean everywhere) for a 20' long flatbed trailer which I needed to haul broke down cars to my shop to work on. They hooked me up with a 20' long x 84" between fenders flatbed gooseneck trailer. It came with 6' long ramps which work great and have only had problem loading 1 car, a mercury grand marquis which was only about 4-6" off the ground at lowest point but i installed a winch which yanked it right on. Trailer pulls great and its light so with no load i can haul butt! Plus trailer was way less for similar trailers and Bill topped it off as he did not add a bunch of unnecessary items that i'd never use. Thanks! read more

Plan for disappointment. I purchased a flatbed raft trailer from them 2 years ago. Trailer has been used approx. 15 times under normal conditions. I have had to make so many repairs that I'm starting to lose track: -additional decking screws installed -grease zerk caps on both axles replaced (fell off) -cheap crap lights replaced 3 times -cheap crap tires all replaced (originals do not even have a make or name!) -trailer wiring repaired -raft load roller repaired twice...finally ponied up the cash to pay a welder and make it work correctly. JUNK JUNK JUNK -added hitch pin...they don't even include one! There is a reason these trailers are budget friendly...you are paying for junk!! Being new to trailers, I did not realize what I was getting. Lesson leaned. I have invested over $450 in the last two years and multiple hours of my time. Very very pleased . . . Did my research, contacted Trailers Plus, Trailer World,etc. Probably called about 8 different places, checked Craig's List, etc. I'm hauling about 1 ton, 1x per month. Everybody else tried to sell me on a double axle, electric tilt dump trailer. Bill at Trail Dust was the ONLY sales person who hooked me up with what I needed. I have a 2012 Toyota Tacoma 2WD with 3500lbs max towing capacity. Bill had a nice 5x8 manual dump trailer on site. For my needs and budget, this was perfect. I was pretty sure I needed brakes on the trailer (as everyone else said I did) but Bill said to try it without the brakes and if I wanted them, they could add the brakes and a controller for $500. I was still skeptical so called the Toyota dealership where I have a good relationship. They backed up Bill's recommendation. Towed the trailer about 45 miles (towed great). The crew at Trail Dust added some additional brackets for $49 in case I want to make racks to extend the height, installed wiring, trailer hitch and ball. Bottom line, I'm very happy, feel I received a fair deal, excellent service and a great produt. Highly recommend these folks based on product, price, service and expertise. read more

I bought an 18K 32' 5th wheel flat bed trailer as a base for my tiny house. The first issue was the trailer was extremely late for the deadline I was promised. I had to drive two hours to pick up the trailer with a friend who had the proper hitch. Upon picking up the trailer, I was disappointed with the paint job and wiring. They agreed to repaint it for me which set my pickup date back and made me take another two hour trip at a later date. When I started my tiny house build I was surprised to see that back right side drooped 1.75" due to the main metal beam being bent. I was able to compensate by adding a shim under that side but now I notice it every time I look at it. Having since learned how to weld, I now see how horrible quality the welds are; novice work. Thank goodness I don't need to move my tiny house often as I question the integrity of the trailer traveling long distances. They did not return my calls and after a while, I just gave up since it wasn't worth my effort to pursue a resolution. This place is only in operation due to the lack of trailer builders in the area. I would never do business with them again. read more

Not worth the money or time. The reason their prices are so good is that they cut corners on quality of craftsmanship and materials. Wires for lights were left dangling and not enclosed in conduit. Insulation wore in several areas and shorted out the lights. I spent a weekend fixing the wiring. Paint job is terrible and thin probably only one coat. Trailer is rusting in several areas in less than a year because of it. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra up front to get quality. read more
