And yes we were as it was one we looked at a competitor of theirs. Vicky called me today and said to come in, she wanted to win our business on that trailer. Make them an offer. So we made the drive down from Portland just to find out it was sold and not even on the lot. What a waste of my Saturday, gas and frustration. She didn't even recognize us as we drove up and said someone else would help us, she was just relaxing outside. Omg. She did send a text apologizing for the inconvenience. So needless to say, what started as a positive ended on a sour and negative experience.

I called 2 days before mothers day (Friday) at 4:30pm and asked about it - Was told it wasn't ready yet but is supposed to be there for the weekend. I said "Right - we're coming Sunday". Sunday we come in to find out that it's not there - there was some problem with one of the windows. REALLY? How come you didn't know about that on Friday afternoon? How come no one called us?? She gets me an appointment quickly, and Ed, the owner, greets me when we arrive to diagnose the problem. Master technician Dave then puts his great skills to work, repairs and resolves the problem, and we're back on the road. We have found them to be super helpful, extremely proficient, efficient, and fair priced. In the past, we've had expensive, rather poor service at some other Portland area locations. We came from Redding CA, a six hour drive for us to Salem to buy a trailer that was advertised as…read more"like new", "immaculate" and when we got there, not only was the trailer not clean: shower and sinks dirty, pee (yes, pee) in the toilet, nothing had been cleaned, but there was wear to the upholstered dinette area seating and the back of the seat was so sun damaged, that it was cracked severely! The stove burners showed moderate use and cupboards still had stuff in them. This trailer had received zero attention from this seller on this inside! I was expecting the condition would be as advertised, as this is the picture he painted. Either he openly lied about the condition, or he did not know the actual condition. Either way, it was way beyond disappointing, and I was fuming! I tried my best to be professional and just tell him what I saw without spewing, and he did drop the price for us, but this did not make me see him as a reputable seller. You cannot change first impressions, and ours was and still is, not good. Would not buy from him again or recommend him.

Kathy found me a truck the same day I called. I-5 Transport picked up my car in Portland, OR, and delivered it to San Diego, CA, in just two days, which was great! The trucking company itself wasn't the best at communicating changes during transport, but that was out of Kathy's control.
