Whether u r there in person or on the phone with them , the service is always excellent. I called to ask for an item that I needed four of. The person put me on hold and then came back with the answer promptly. Without this help I may have made an unnecessary trip to the store if they were out of it. Why am I so impressed? Because most calls of this nature end up disconnected various times or hung up on. But... Not at Trader Joe's. Thank you. read more

Trader Joe's is located in The Promenade. I needed some more Trader Joe popcorn. I grabbed some bananas and unsalted sunflower seeds while I was there. It was not completely crowded as usual. Only one person in front of me to check out. Yah! Trader Joe's employees are really nice Shared parking lot. read more

I love Trader Joe's! Best for snacks, ready to cook meals, and dips! I want personally thank Russ for being incredibly helpful! You made my day! read more

Never ask the stocking staff here for anything. They'll eventually help, but they are extremely rude and unfriendly. Experiencing that kind of attitude ruins your mood, and all the polite small talk at checkout just feels completely insincere. read more

When I visit family in Canada and ask them if there is anything they want me to bring, they always request Trader Joe's items. I'm fortunate to live nearby to several Trader Joe's locations though my family members rarely get the chance to browse the seasonal items (or even the regular items) at Trader Joe's. I visited this location of Trade Joe's for the first time today. The service was great, as was the product variety and prices; however, it was extremely busy on a Saturday late in the morning. But I can't fault Trader Joe's for being so popular. The hours are also convenient as they are open from 8 AM to 9 PM daily. My wife and I had brunch nearby and stopped by Trader Joe's to get a few items we were thinking of (which of course are better at Trader Joe's). We easily found everything we were looking for and more, and everything was in stock. The wait for a cashier seemed long but the lines moved very quickly. We were in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The products are also great! From the Fall festive items to holiday items, they have a little of everything. In fact, for the holidays, I tend to get gifts for my co-workers and a few treats for the family all from Trader Joe's. Great prices for high quality items and tasty items at that. My favorite snacks are the Scandinavian Swimmers (gummy sea animals), Chocolate Orange Sticks, and Chocolate-Covered Powerberries. I also enjoy some of the meats, fruits, cheeses, and really, everything! I remember when they had samples of different items and also had incentives and giveaways for using your own bag. While they may still do both of these, I do not recall them happening in a while. But the staff, they are always so helpful whether they are stocking shelves, serving as cashiers, or walking around. I also find that they always have so many cashiers working at once, and the lines move quickly. I'm never concerned when I see a line. I'm sure I'll be back at Trader Joe's in a matter of days (or sooner). I can't wait to see what's on the end cap the next time I show up. read more

Coming from California, where all of the Trader Joe's famously have zero parking. This one is by far the best I've ever been to just due to the ample parking. Service is always friendly I love it when they offer samples of new items last time I was there I got to try the new Oreo sheet cake! So good! Overall, a clean store, but definitely still a very busy store. But you never have to wait too long in line. read more

I really enjoy Trader Joe's variety of meals offered in the Frozen section; HOWEVER, The Trader Joe's Uncured Pepperoni Pizza is just terrible; The Crust, which is said to come from Italy is burnt; The Pepperoni is Terrible! It has a sweet note to it that's just odd for Pepperoni, which this not; I know, it's Pizza Sausage, but a sweet note on Pepperoni; NOPE... Pass on this one; It's terrible; read more

Great place to food shop especially for store brands!!! When company is coming, it's definitely the place to go!!! Amazing prices on everything from fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, wine and so much more. So many unique items that are only carried at Trader Joe's. Friendliest, most helpful staff!! They'll even let you try a new item if you want to. Best seasonal items and they really go fast, so you have to grab them when you see them. Usually very crowded, but lines more pretty quickly!!! read more

Well stocked TJs that carries all their usual items plus beer and wine. We were able to find everything we needed here for a nice cheese plate: bread, cheeses including Asiago and Bries, jams, fruits. They had our favorite red wine. Parking is easier than some TJs since there is more parking as this is in a complex with other businesses. Checkout person was nice but not intrusive, which is appreciated. read more

Chris was so kind to us at checkout and made my mom's birthday extra special for her. He was very sweet and we truly appreciated him!

Organized and clean location. Staff was friendly and helpful on the day that I stopped by. Plenty of parking outside.

Man always so exciting to visit Trader Joe's. I love this location because usually what I came in for is stocked. The Tempe location is always hit or miss. I love all the fresh stuff to the frozen stuff. They also have an entire wine selection of their Trader Joe's brand for $4 which all tastes pretty good. I'm not drinking right now so I did not get wine today. read more

I've been shopping at Trader Joe's since they opened the Lincoln Rd store probably over 20 years ago. I don't know what the deal is at this location, but it is not a positive shopping experience in any way. Parking is horrible, the store is small and overcrowded, and the employees are noticably less friendly than other locations just to name a few things. I try to avoid this store, but some days I'm nearby and don't have time to travel to another. Today I ran in for some vegetables needed to complete dinner. Considering it's always packed, you would think their stock would be fresh, but they consistently have the worst produce of any of the locations I visit. (I frequent the before mentioned Lincoln/Scottsdale, Tatum/Shea, 43rd/Chandler, and the McClintock/Guadalupe stores regularly.) The first yellow summer squash I picked up was rotten. I handed it off to a nearby employee and kept shopping. The Persian cucumbers all looked past their usable date, so I chose an English one. The first one of those was squishy rotten as well. That really should be enough to know better than to not closely check each thing, but alas I didn't. It was so crowded that I reached between a few people and grabbed a red bell pepper and kept moving. Well, we didn't get to have said pepper with our dinner. When I got home and unpacked, I realized the entire bottom of the pepper was rotten through. Needless to say, the checkout employee didn't notice it either. I realize that produce is perishable and your can find a rotten piece at any store, but THREE of the first items I grabbed were spoiled today. (Other than slightly wilted bagged lettuce, I've never found rotten items at the other locations.) How can they be this busy and still have so many rotten vegetables? I think it's just a visual representation of how slightly rotten this store all around. read more

Take the few extra minutes to go to the one on Shea. Awful customer service that has no place at a Trader Joe's or in Scottsdale. Feels more like a Walmart. I wanted to ask if they would be getting more of a product in stock or if it's discontinued. Before I could finish a sentence, the dyed black haired teenager snapped at me and refused to help me lmao. Her fellow employees said something and she yelled I DONT CARE. Nice person to pay to be around your customers, guys LOL read more

The lovely workers at Trader Joe's dealt with a very negative customer last week, who I had to unfortunately tell to calm down due to her berating everyone in line and speaking terribly about the workers. This is a business I want to support, thank you Trader Joe's for the pretty flowers!! read more

Recently stopped by here. Wish they had another location a tiny bit more north (but maybe not as I'd visit even more often). All the new plants out for spring are beautiful, lots of new products to choose from. Aisles and displays were full and they were even sampling. Store was packed, even for an off hour. In spite of being super busy, this did not stop the staff from having a great time and providing exceptional service. read more

Trader Joe's is the best! By far my number one go to grocery store without a doubt! We happen spend time between three different locations/states. All three Trader Joe's are located within a few miles of each of our residences. It's fun because they have different products and lots of the same at all the locations. By far the best price for produce, like lemons and limes by the bag, avocados, onions and tomatoes are always fresh. Their pet section has a nice dog selection of treats and seasonal items. My dog loves the dried chicken jerky and their bones. Fresh flowers, pastries, breads, nuts, jams, salsas and large cheese selection. I highly recommend their bone in pork chop! Thick and juicy...price is spot on. One of the best things about Trader Joe's is their staff is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help the customer. read more

Love, love, love Trader Joe's! Great products and wonderful foods to try. Highly recommend.

Found my item fast that's why the get 2. Went to checkout girl snag the item out of my hand and then threw it in a bag. After my receipt printed I stood there waiting while she was on her phone texting someone and then she just threw it in the bag. I should've gotten her name because that was truly unbelievable and rude. read more

This used to be my go-to location. Since moving to another part of the valley I don't get here as often as I'd like, though it IS still somewhat close to work so I can sometimes pick something up on the way home. I'm a fan of Trader Joe's in general and this one is no exception. The one thing I would change with just about all of them is wishing the stores were bigger in size. Because it's so popular it is always crowded and that, for me, really detracts from the overall experience. That having been said I will always choose Trader Joe's whenever I'm in the mood for some charcuterie. The cheese selection is on point. The Gouda and Fontina are perpetual favorites, as is the artisan salami. Best anywhere, in my opinion. There is alway something of interest in the frozen section and I can NEVER resist picking up a bag of the Argentinian Red Shrimp, or the Bruschetta sauce, or any number of things. The wine selection is another good excuse to visit. While you won't find as vast a selection as other places there will always be something unique and of interest at generally very reasonable prices. read more

I don't know what's happened to the store, but many of the associates are not friendly. don't even bother asking for help to find stuff you will get a stern look as if you are bothering them. bought a breakfast burrito last night (2/11) ate some today to find lots of mold inside. Came in and was given a few dollars worth of store credit?? The expiration was 2/14 and I had stored the burrito properly overnight. I was then told they couldn't compensate me more than the few dollars and to call if anyone got sick from it so they can investigate. Shouldn't they already be investigating? Truly didn't seem like cared about something so insane. Super disappointed. read more

I love Trader Joe's! They have the best flower selections and quality for a supermarket. Also love love their snacks selections like roasted almonds, sweet plantains, sesame cashew and more. Their frozen chocolate croissant is to die for. It's so easy to prepare, just lay on cookie pan for overnight then bake it for about 10 minutes on the following morning, voila you got the freshest croissants for breakfast! Beth was hilarious! I love going to Trader Joe's but was especially pleased with my experience here. We came here to get beverages and snacks for the weekend. I love that every TJs is laid out in the same manner, so it is easy to find whatever you are looking for. Parking was plentiful out front, and the store had everything we came in for. During our road trip from CA to TX, TJ's is our source of affordable and yummy snacks & treats for our weeklong journey. Pretty much all TJ's are identical with inventory, pricing & helpful employees. I love their thick, durable AND FREE plastic bags!
