I gotta give it to Trader Joe's. Although I'm far from being a fan on 100 percent of any of their prepared foods. There are some items here that reign supreme. They got wild organic frozen blueberries which I LOVE, their organic fruits and veggies are priced perfectly. Portions are perfect for a few days before the next stock up. Also one of the main reasons why I'm writing this review is because their floral section, which is possibly if not the best. Beating all florists by pricing every inch of the way and selection. This has always been my go to for anytime I want to surprise my wife with flowers. The color selections are always in season. Also there isn't one bouquet I have made that my wife hasn't loved. Brownie points to Trader Joe's. Also let's not leave out the amazing conversations you get to have at every cash register. The employees are all well seasoned with the best attitudes. I don't think I have ever met anyone having a bad day here. Always glad to help and always thankful that you are a shopper. I mean why can't other businesses take notes? So on behalf of this praise towards Trader Joe's. Check out the fall haul of flowers I picked up this season for my beautiful wife! P.S. Speculoos ice cream is one of those where I say I don't care what's in it, I'm eating it!

Staff were friendly, we purchased some frozen items and some fruit. Grocery store is clean, well stocked, and plenty of new options to try.

I had a few questions about poinsettia and flagged down an employee foe help. It happened to be manager Julie. She was friendly, courteous, and provided me with excellent customer service. She informed me that I could always call and have them order the quantity I need. She also said that if they did not have enough poinsettias in stock at their store, they will be happy to arrange to have the poinsettia held for me at another Trader Joe location. Trader Joe is selling medium size poinsettia for only $6.99 each vs. $9.99 elsewhere. As always, great products and awesome prices at Trader Joe's. The store was busy as usual, but well stocked as they have employees constantly replenishing products on the shelves. Busy Sunday afternoon, but in spite of the crown, it was a pleasant experience to shop there. The store was clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The restroom was clean.

I was looking for a Trader Joe's (TJ) that I have never shopped at in the past. I found this one located on the north side of Pasadena. It's right next door to Stonefire Grill if you're curious. I love shopping at TJ. They have so many interesting food items in frozen and non-frozen form. I have my go-to staples that I usually buy from TJ. It never fails though... I usually end up getting more items than I originally planned LOL and that's okay. This TJ is a pretty standard size TJ. I've seen bigger and smaller ones. I specifically wanted to pick up some salsa and chips. I was here on a Tuesday night around 8:30 PM... 30 minutes prior to closing time and I saw a lot of TJ staff stocking up the shelves. While I was at the salsa aisle, I asked the young gentleman who was stocking up salsas at the time which salsa he would recommend. He was very kind to share his top picks. He also brought me to the fresh salsa section, too. I ended up getting both jarred (Salsa Autentica, Salsa Verde, Organic Salsa Chunky) and freshly packed (Guacasala, Extra Hot Habanero Ghost Salsa, Salsa Especial Medium, Salsa Especial Mild) salsas. When I went back to the salsa aisle where the chips were, there were two other gentleman and I asked them for their top picks on chips. I got two different recommendations which was fine. Everyone has different taste buds and that's okay. I ended up opening both bags of chips to give them a try and I liked them both so I got them both (Organic Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips, Truly Tortilla Chips). Hey, I work fast! LOL I also found out that TJ has a generous return policy... you can bring almost any item back to the store for a full refund, with or without a receipt. This includes food items you've opened and even eaten as well as nonedible products that didn't meet your expectations... now that's great business policy! Thank you all for your time and good recommendations/tips. I appreciate it. All the staff from stockers to cashiers are so very friendly and pleasant. That's what a great business should have... great staff, great service, and great items! Just GREAT! I would recommend this TJ location any day. And yes, I ended up picking up other food items beside salsa and chips... like I said, it never fails LOL. Btw, tons of parking available so no worries. I know there are some TJs that have very limited parking. You're in good space at this one. Thank you!

They have unique choices like these rice florals

I don't shop at Trader Joe's as much as I would like but this specific location had a very spacious parking lot which is a plus to me! I only came for florals and they had a good variety. However, they didn't have eucalyptus that day so I was a little disappointed but it is the holidays so I don't blame them. The florals were fresh, cheap, and the cash wrap people were extremely friendly! It was extremely busy but the workers were still friendly, the lady who assisted me offered me a wine box to hold all my flowers which was quite shocking to me bc I'm used to scramble all the small bouquet in my arms all the way to my car. These little things I usually appreciate so thank you!

Always a pleasure to go shopping here. we wanted to replace the food we were eating at our nephews house. The crowds were low so shopping was quick. Found all the goodies on our list and then some. Shared parking lot.

    Bread Lounge from DTLA =)

*** FOOD ALERT *** Bread Lounge has shipments to this location!!! Yes, it is Bread Lounge from DTLA. They have a variety of breads including my favorite olive bread!! Others were multigrain, country white, fruit and nut. For those of you who don't know, many of the cafes serving sandwiches around that you love also get shipments of bread from them. I'm hoping this will not be just a seasonal thing...

The name "King" is a homage to honor their father, who was known to be the king of fruit. Super King Market is best known for their produce, excellent quality and very affordable prices. The market itself is very international in which you can find Middle Eastern items, Hispanic items and also Asian grocery items as well. I really love Super King and so does my husband. After my husband had discovered the location in Claremont (I actually had shopped there before he did, many years ago), he just has this desire to visit the other locations. We have already visited the one in Glendale, which is my least favorite of the 3 that we have gone to so far. This location is cleaner and does seem to be bigger (but I prefer the set up and layout of the location in Claremont. The parking is way better than the other 2 locations that we have visited). Anyways, we came by this store on a Saturday and it was definitely busy. But not so busy that it felt crowded (but can't say that will be the same for you if you come on a weekend). The first selection I love to visit is their produce section. There is such a vast variety of different, good quality, vegetables and fruits. And what makes this section even better is the fact that the produce is so cheaply priced. A market like this really encourages you to choose healthier choices of fruits and vegetables (and also whole grains. The dried grains, rice + beans section is also very cheap, as compared to the typical American market like Von's, Ralph's, etc). I also love all the different types of breads that you can find on the other side of the store. The prices for whole wheat pita bread is very cheap too (and also the regular pita bread for those who don't appreciate whole grain foods and don't get enough fiber in their diet). Be aware that a lot of their fresh breads have a short shelf life so make sure you finish your bread before they go bad and have mold :( Customer service at the register was just whatever, but I don't come to this market expecting it to be stellar, so that doesn't bother me. The prices are great here, the selection of food items (in many different departments, not just the produce) is excellent and would come back to this location more often if I lived in the area.

Well they have super long lines and no baggers. So the cashier has to bag and it can take so much…read moreextra time. Unless you the customer bags your own stuff. But the elderly can't do that so it's why the lines are so long. Now here is the kicker. At the end of the checking line is a manager ...sometimes 2. A man and a woman. They are observing the long lines...counting something...just observing. It would help if THEY just go to the end of a long line and start bagging! See, that would be cool! You see you guys have not scheduled any baggers and the lines are so long they are down the aisles .. and you are just standing there? Of course they may say, well that's not my job. But that's the mentality that keeps things moving slow. It would be so nice if people just did what it takes to keep things moving. Either hire enough people OR get in there and start bagging! I remember back in the days there was a bagger at the end of each checkout aisle. A bagger and a casher! Those days are gone ...and most stores now see if they can get away with overworking the checker! Next thing you know they install self check outs! Rather than hire people and keep a system of people working they just get rid of people and have 1 person observing (like these managers were doing). What a world we are moving towards. But anyways that's what you see. I wish they would just hire bag boys and go back to the good ol days.

This is a small Market that has a little bit of everything that you're looking for from Southeast Asia. It's like a 7-Eleven, Filipino style. It's fun to look at the various items available here. You will always end up with more than just what you were looking for. I enjoy the cracker nuts, dried mangoes, and specialty dried items. Their selection of items is always changing so I like to look at what's new and on display. I will sometimes ask the front counter what just came in. The Fresh Deli, located up a small incline to the left as you enter the market, is spectacular. The flavor of the food permeates the entrance to the market. They have an incredible selection of fresh made food. It is difficult to make a decision between the different items. I asked for some help from the gentleman behind the counter. I've dealt with Christian, Gabriel and Abraham and all three are knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to explain how some of the food was prepared and the special attention that was given to each individual item. I wanted to limit myself to two items. I decided on the special marinated Beef Caldereta and the Lechon Kawali. On another trip I decided to try the Pork Tochino and the Barbecue Chicken Skewers. I can't tell you how happy I am with the flavors of the food from the deli. Everything was done to perfection. The Chicken skewers were tender and moist with a great barbecue flavor. The Toccino had a nice marinade flavor and was not too sweet. The Lechon was tender and had enough fat to give it a great flavor and texture. I have to admit the Caldereta was my favorite. Great taste, texture, and just the right spices to give it a little kick. The rice and noodles were a perfect accompaniment. All the sauces I was given added to the flavor of all the dishes. At the cash register at the front counter I paid for my items and asked about other items coming in in the near future. I found out that they are not always sure what's going to become available but always looking for something that will make their customers happy. This is truly a family establishment. I found out that everybody there is related. They definitely give exceptional service and quality merchandise, and delicious food. I look forward to coming back and trying many other items both in their market area as well as the Deli.
